The first post cleary says any questions which are open to forum_user view-point should be discussed, provided it is not a series of repeated posts. Im understand the fact that not all repsonse from a user are correct, and the small chance a rat may hit 1 on you 10times during a one quest, but this is besides the point of the editing. ONCE the user has reponsded to thread, and ONCE the user has verifed he/she has the desired answer/solution, where is the need to keep posting?

You have obviously never played RSC. It had something called "fatigue", wher after a certain time you had to stop what you were doing and "rest" your character. As I didn't play RSC much I can't remember the exact details, but I am sure there are some "old-timers" out there who can. Howver, this, in effect, introduced a time limit. Needless to say this was extremely unpopular and was one of the things dumped for RS2. That would annoy me :| You finally get to Jad and you need to 'rest' before he hits and 98 on you. :ohnoes: @State - Yes, i'd agree alot of people do become jealous, which is why people get called no-lifer/nerd etc. Its a shame some people dont see some things as achievement.

Why dont we look at the chance of a guide which is actually 'wrong'? Lets look at this question; 'How can i complete monkey madess' ~Person comes along and posts the Tip.It guide and gives a brief explanation. Are you telling me someone, off the top of their head without using a guide or reading anything, can give a more accurate answer than that of a guide which has been worked on for days? :notalk: Edit: Also, if you feel obligated to try and flame a simple suggestion, dont... Theres alot of pures like this, but it depends how you chose to you him. Personally, i see no need for pures to have above 70 range, if you plan to use melee and pk in members. Its a nice start for 5 weeks, 8/10.

Exactly. Snobby kids cant get things their own way, so they buy gold off the internet. This demand for gold makes the arrogant players lure/scam items so they can fund the kids 'need'. The arrogant older people who sell the gold, then go and scam the kids who buy it later on in the game, and then re-sell it to other people... JAGeX need to get rid of rares, revamp the graphics and make the game more tactical and quizzing that it is now - People are just getting bored. I mean, hunter and con were 99'd in about 4 days, a week at the max - Its not really challenging.

Problem with that is it takes 1 invent of coal and iron just to make two steel plates. No one is going to want to get 50k steel bars just to get 70 mage :XD:

This is the wrong forum. Such a tip, if anywhere, should go in the Player made guides. Like said before, maybe elaborate on this idea - Xp an hour/day. Where to hunt, what to take etc. And why did you not just drop the Lizards?

If you want to limit the amount of money you lose, the best thing to do it buy D hide bodies from crafters. Then tend to sell about 260gp under the high alch value, and seeing as you can easily by nats for 300ea, you'll only lose 40gp, where as if you use yew longs, you lose alot more. If you are content on using you skills, then i'd suggest getting fletching to 70, and then buying yews and strings to make longs to alch. The problem with alching d hide bodies is, unless you get the hides yourself, you'll lose alot.

True, however many posters forward them to links. These links are 99% correct, based on the Tip.It fansites guides/bestiary etc. For someone to post after another user, then there is clear evidence to prove he/she is correct, then this is why such a rule should be implimented...

Well, i've looked about and i haven't seen a topic about this, so i've decided to post one here, as of course, all ideas are open to debate. This thread is debate what you think Runescape will be like in five years, and is it anything like you imagined five years ago. Personally, in five years time i think Runescape will be non-existant. Why? To many pures, to many skillers and to many drop-traders have made the game seem alot bigger than it really is. I mean, there may be over 3million registered accounts, but how many people have more than 1 account? ... Alot, i had 4. Look at the Hunter and Construction highscores. All the good/experienced players have not bothered to level them. Most of the people around my rank have maxed out melee stats, but haven't been on since farming was released. - Lurers and scams have resulted in many players qutting. Drop-traders and low-level pures are ruining the fun for f2p-players... When i started there were a heck lot more players in the f2p worlds than the members world, and now, theres just as many p2p players, just alot less f2ps. F2p is the foundation for members, and JAGeX have chosen to neglect the updates, resulting in a less of desire to play. In 5 years time i think the rare market till be out of control. To many drop-trading stakers will be banned for bug-abusing at the duel arena, forcing the price of rares so high, that people will no longer see a point in playing. The lack of response JAGeX had to lurer and scammers has casued a large concern for players to bother becoming members, as they see no point in paying money to lose. Higher level players are feeling kicked in the teeth as JAGeX's new updates are making level 99's even easier to come by - Pc, Pyramind Plunder, new Penguin course, so they see little incentive to carry on playing a 'childs game'. Because of this, it wouldn't surprise me if Runescape slowly slipped into nothing. Feel free to add, discuss and give out your points of view about what you think will happen to Runescape in five years time.

I think, if i did not i apologise, say in my post that topics which do require a valid opinion, eg 'What should i alch', 'What should i kill', Etc, should be given the option to expand on, as information is vast. However, many questions are actually short, simple answers, eg 'Where do i get this?', 'The stat boost of... is?' Require only the correct answer given once. I like the idea of a simple heading, allowing Moderators to easily find posts which can be locked. Nice ideas people. :
