  1. Probably the only reason they sell is because extreme mages are so cheap. And fwiw, I just bought enough supplies for 85-92 herb at ~29gp/exp (spec restores) as super energy was selling close to min earlier today and papayas were selling close to min yesterday (probably even cheaper now if they keep dropping).
  2. just remember what you say on these forums alot of moderators from runescape looks around here, especially a topic i made about autoers so just watch what you say, about admitting to real world trading. It's not a problem as this was almost 5 years ago, on long forgotten accounts. I quit Runescape anyways, so I don't think I would care that much if this account got banned for whatever reason. [/hide] Keep in mind, Jagex have been known to ban accounts owned by the same person who used/uses a separate account to break rules. Jagex won't ban anyone for something they said on tif, as they have no proof that's actually their real RSN. RSOF, sure, but not tif. And the only time they'll actually do an IP ban is for something like phishing or keylogging, and even then it has to be really serious. For RWT they'll only ban the accounts that get caught, and for macroing they used to ban by UID (not sure if they still do that, as bots can easily bypass that now).
  3. Lol what conscience? It's a game. Remember that RL > RS. You could pay your way through school, like Duke Freedom. OT: I don't condone or promote cheating in any way, so don't do it. It's against teh rules. That's the problem, as long mentality like that exist, there will always be botters around. Sure you are making good money and stuff, but it's like breaking the rules to earn the money, and justify that its ok because its a game. Well that just kind of blurrs out the moral for many things. Then people would justified that the people that in China that used to work in gaming sweat shops are trying to earn money too to actually make a earning not trying to get better flashy gadget like teens in North America. Who knows, maybe 10 hours to them would equal a decent meal or bag of rice that last for several days. Even it sounds legitimate, its still not right down in the sense. I also hear people talking about it as well, and it seems like the less impact it has on real life, the less important it is, people just get desensitize to those kind of things because its not a big deal to everyone. I guess only time it will affect is when every server has 1.5k autoers, and all the legitimate player quits and RS have to close down its door to make it somewhat significant? I mean, it's only a game, and no one is dying over it (that was sarcasm), it just mean that some hundred of people lost their jobs to maintain the game, and players simply lose another form of entertainment (of course, this is greatly exaggerated) I always go by this rule, when you are about to do something, if that voice inside your mind that tells you its good or bad, then its probably the honest truth. Too many times people just choose to ignore it, or justify it to make it sounds ok. [/hide]Who is Duke Freedom? One of the richest and most respected merchants who got banned for RWT a few years ago . I believe he got about $20k out of his pixels to pay for school. Would've got much more if he didn't get banned. If anyone remembers r2pleasent (sp?), also one of the big merchants at the time, he's been a big player in the RWT market as well. That is roughly 3.3~ billion GP sold. There are hundreds of people who have that much if not way more. If he was a good(skilled or good at hacking) staker, he could make that in a few days. Afaik he didn't manage to sell a lot. Back then it was ~$4/M, now it's down to ~$1/M or less.

I don't even know how much this guy made off this game over the years, but it's well above what Duke Freedom made.
  5. Up to 84 you're best off doing 207's as harralander tars are really unstable. I guess you could also try s energy, as those were decent when I was doing herb. After 84 do spec restores, they're cheaper then anything else of comparable speed.
  6. Go into the tunnels under lummy without a light source and bring an inv of food to heal.

Too many times people just choose to ignore it, or justify it to make it sounds ok. Again, it's what you value more. Either being moral in a game to earn yourself some e-rep or have some extra spending money irl. One is tangible, the other is not. You're saying you'd rather see some guy in China not being able to feed his family because he'd be breaking the rules in a game? Where's the logic in that? You'll never have servers filled with bots. These days, scripters aren't stupid enough to give their scripts away for free, at least not the good ones. Not like in RSC where you had 90% of the players on STS (this bot is long dead, so name doesn't matter). Plus there will always be guys like you that think it's immoral to cheat in a game. And there is no voice in my head telling me botting is wrong. I'm not saying I bot, but I just don't care when I see someone doing it. I make a distinction between real life and a game. Lol what conscience? It's a game. Remember that RL > RS. You could pay your way through school, like Duke Freedom. OT: I don't condone or promote cheating in any way, so don't do it. It's against teh rules. [/hide] Dude I've sent you PM's before about your bad influence and bad attitude... Everyone knows your online attitude is a reflection of your RL character. It worries me in your case... ON TOPIC: I must say in member areas (except for autotypers & merch clan recruiters) I haven't seen any obvious autoing in a while. When I log my pure and go wc'ing in free worlds I notice an incredible amount of willow autoers. What the point is isn't clear, since they can't transfer their wealth anymore but there are many of them. I also heard on other forums that the newest trend is auto enchanting bolts. It seems it's a very huge business to gain fast wealth on their own account. The purpose of botting has changed, making cash from it is almost impossible (also the reason why I can't believe people make $1000 from it) and when I listen to stories about it. Gold selling isn't a booming business anymore, but nowadays you actually have to hand out your login details to get items. Like you can buy items for cash, give them your login details and when you login back to your acc the item is there... If Jagex could find out how they do that they can also take steps against that. That way they can ban another illegal business Yea I didin't reply to that last PM because I didn't think it was worth my time trying to make sense of your circular logic. 1. it's not obvious like with the asian bots, but they're there 2. there are so many willow bots because there's a very good free willow script (think of it as a demo for their paid scripts). The volume of botters is the only thing that makes it obvious, as you can't make the script completely randomized 3. most of the time you bot either to sell the acc for money irl or to suicide, see how far you can get 4. I think you're behind on this one. Afaik [a certain minigame] bots are really popular now. You can bot 24/7 for weeks/months without a ban. A lot of the maxed pures you see now are from the [minigame] bot. Theres's even a guy that got 99 slayer at lvl 3 cb... 5. you can make $1000/month from it. You can buy P2P on a cheating site for ~$3. The only thing limiting the number of bots you can run are your PC specs, as Jagex doesn't do IP bans, etc 6. a lot of times you pay to have some asians farm gold on your account. But there are still very fast transfer methods that aren't patched. Most require certain quests, etc though. Easy way to get rares is to just buy it for trade and fill the difference with $, but that's an obvious one 7. I'm tired of writing and I have a report to finish so I'll just stop here, cba writing lengthy replies A lot of them are getting the banhammer now, as they've become so common that legit players are reporting them when they see them hunting chins
  8. Lol what conscience? It's a game. Remember that RL > RS. You could pay your way through school, like Duke Freedom. OT: I don't condone or promote cheating in any way, so don't do it. It's against teh rules.
  9. Stay there until ~74
  10. SGS is useless for slayer, claws or EE is much better.
  11. A pure can only PK and not much else...so I think the choice is obvious.
  12. I can tell you that ever since they made those RWT updates, they don't look at these things anymore. But yea it's against the rules so you shouldn't do it
  13. For wf, I use: Full melee void Fury D boots SS Berserker (i) Fire cape 2 extreme att and str The whole time, flash SS with turmoil and berserker so you don't need p pots, food, or a familiar. With this setup I can get 120-125 crims/hr.
  14. Alright, since OP's question has been answered, how does magpie compare to fruit bat?
  15. Dude you are asking on a RS forum how to cheat the game? Makes no sense and if you do try to transfer gold from one acc to another I hope you get caught and banned. Sorry you got your account hacked but it's simply no excuse to break the in-game-rules. Besides everyone knows being hacked is 100% your own fault: either your pc got infected with a keylogger or trojan horse OR someone saw your password or knew the answers to your secret questions... I will report this topic as it's against the rules... omgitstheendoftheworldhebroketherunescaperules gtfo pls To OP: buy 30M of junk on your new account, and then use the hacked one to buy it from yourself. That way the guy may get your account, but he's stuck with 30M junk. Don't try to make 30M just yourself. If he's the first person to get P2P on it, you're not getting it back.
  16. Antifire pots are useless. Use bandos with dfs/mind shield.
  17. I didn't bother doing it, seems stupid.
  18. Just stick with waterfiends (since you can't afford rock lobs), your next best option is many times worse. If you want charms, wf are the way to go. If you want money, there are better ways then killing drags. Don't mix the two together.
  19. http://www.runehead.com/
  20. From what I remember on my noob I was maxing at ~240/hr at 60 and ~320/hr at 75. I think it starts to plateau past 75 though.
  21. Going by your stats, I don't think you'll use it long enough to make it worth the trouble of buying and then selling. Just stick with rune.
  22. But black drags hit harder than blues <_<
  23. Hmm.. *how can I abuse runescape to make irl gps*.. I owe £12k to the student loans company already.. fml 1. get a good account 2. sell to gold farming site 3. wait a month 4. recover 5. repeat steps 2-4 6. profit
