1. All pixel artists should use colors UNDER THE DARK LINE: Of course you can use colors above this line, but its less realistic. 2. Wood on staff looks really nice ;) 3. Metal - I think bottom of staff and dragon axe are from metal right? So remember that metal MUST have light on it. Use white or light grey colors to add light. Here is Dragon Metal Ball ( :P ): Done in GIMP, not Paint. I know its not best xD I dont like GIMP. 4. Add more shading. Just start from light color, then darker... darker... darker. 5. Any way nice job :)
