[hide=22/06/2008]Today my first task was a black dragon task. After quickly finishing it I got lucky again with a clue and got a zammy plate. After that I got a Gorak task which against my expectation was a pretty decent task. Quickly finishing it and banking the gems I decided to go kill the "bosses" in the Smoke well. They all went pretty quick with the most struggle comming from the Basilisk Boss (be aware ;) ) I went to get another task and was happy to see it was a Nech task. Decided to leave the Nech task for tomorrow and went 'round to get a prayer level (which I had banked thanks to slayer tasks) After that I went to Tears of Guthix when I had just finished that a friend asked if I wanted to Bandos and off I went. Unfortunately no good drop.[/hide]

Killed them with a -100+ magic bonus praying protect from ranged. Either it is a ranged based mage attack or it's a ranged attack ;x Had a task but all my drops are already noted here

Ah I thought this was a bug at first. It seems it isn't... Just enter the room again let the cutscene play. A gnome should come rescue you.

The new lvl 56 slayer monsters named: Warped Terrorbird Warped Turtle As far as I can see not really worth it but time will tell... Didn't kill any to really investigate the drops

Items Needed Decent melee armour Lantern Crystal saw Tele to castlewars Prayer pot Food Crossbow and grapple Walkthrough Starting it off Talk to King Bolren (Gnome tree village at the Spirit tree). He talks about his new pet. Oh wait say hi to the spy animal ;x You need to find the desillusion machine. I hope you remember where the dungeon is at. In the dungeon go west and talk to the gnome there. He'll give you the advice to search the chest. Go to the eastern room and "Crawl" through the small opening. There you should see a small puzzle. Push the Monolith west so you have an opening on the north. [hide=Bad image of first puzzle][/hide] Loot the chest and continue West. Here push the first monolith West, second North, walk past them West, loot the chests. Push the next monolith East and the other one south. (if you're confused look at the "all"explaining picture: [hide=Second puzzle][/hide] Open the chest and then make your way to the south of this cave. (Shouldn't be too hard...) Open the gate with your new key. The machine! Remember it? Works just the same only this time doesn't tell you how much points but gives symbols that you need to match in points. Use the tabel from Eyes of Glourphie Questguide if you need to. calculation is: side*colour = points. I needed an indigo pentagon and a red + green triangle, don't know if it's variable. Machine reveals the spy creature. Talk to king, Kill, talk to king. He sends you to junior! Junior is found at 2nd floor of Giant tree at gnome stronghold, just use the spirit tree to get there. The adventurer Here you get the location of the the adventurer you seek. Let's make it simple for you: Get southwest of Castle wars (be sure to have your grapple + cbow) here you should see a small island in the river with a tree on it. Grapple over the river. He talks about a poisonous waste so let's go west. The Sick Spirit Tree Talk to the tree, it's sick and needs healing. Let's get to it! After talking to it you should have heard you need to use your crystal saw on a crystal bowl... where did we see a crystal bowl? At Gnome tree basement! Let's get to there... After using your crystal saw on it twice you should have Crystal Chime. Get back to tree and right click ring them at the tree. HE'S MAGICALLY CURED! The poisonous waste cave! I hope you brought melee gear, food and a pray pot. If not go bank. Walk in the cave at first you see a few useless warped turtles nothing bad... Just keep walking the obvious way. Then you'll notice Warped terrorbirds aiming at you! Their attack seems to be ranged so pray ranged if needed. Continue your way. At a certain spot you entered from the south and you can go north, west and east. Here prepare very carefully! East are the three bosses! Get full hp, prepare for a fight! When entering start praying ranged. I think their attacks are ranged and melee, not very dangerous though... Use crystal chime on one then kill it. Take them down one by one and you should be fine. After killing them peek through the door. After the cutscene you're in a bit of trouble but no worries! You will get out :) Yay for Super Gnome! Talk to him and the quest is done! 1) Spinners can't be distracted anymore 2) Only get half the normal exp (mentioned in a Note: above it though :)

Just tested it without boost to prayer stat: on lvl 64 prayer: 15%'s: 1 minute 5 seconds Chivalry: 1 minute 37 seconds That's almost 50% longer... I'm pretty sure it's inteded to be 50% o_O

It's the EAST side :) Doing the quest atm :)

Ah finally... Level 70 construction... I'm in the middle of exams so I don't update as often as I should... Anyway started redesigning my house... dang it's expensive ;S 14 m spent and I need to do a few more beauty additions ;D Also started with a 99 strength goal... Why? I don't know... I just want it

Didn't do much today... Sold stuff to get 2.5m for the planking. Started planking but got distracted with making a pure with a friend :D I'll correct that tomorrow though!

A rare clue tbh, it was finally a good one after my streak of awful ones. (Rune (g) plate) Afterwards got a greater demon task but thought it was a black demon one so I wasted a bit of time :lol: After finishing greater demon task I got what I wanted for a while! As my 30st task after smoking kills I got a Mith dragon task! Unfortunately no good drops. As owner of the quest cape I can seriously say that Rat catchers was my most hated quest... Damn you guards with eyes on your back :'( ME 2 is a close second though :D Had to do the ending puzzle three times because I forgot to turn the beam ;x

When I joined the main thing I wanted to avoid was a number... Dr Hobo was my hero at the time (still is, Doctor Hobo ftw!) (charcter in VG cats btw ;) ) Medjai towards the Egyptian tribe thanks to my general interest in History ;x Tadah: Hobo Medjai! (Also own Hobo Hoplite and Hobo Hersir) :P

As I'm currently raising my herblore level this guide is pretty handy :) 2 small ideas/remarks though: 1) in Nahdar (the dessert city) there's a shop that has 25 chocolate bars in stock (never crowded as far as I saw :D) 2) when killing Salarin I always slaughter the Druids too. This shorten the waiting time and dropping the low level herbs I always end up with a decent batch of high level herbs :) Hope they helped ;)

They probably used TeamSpeak or IRC to pile you guys ;x Only had a war crashed once by accident. Wearing green capes and by a wrong scoutreport TRWF thought we were Titan. They rushed in while we were rushing in on the DD of the opponent... Bad timing ;x When they noticed it was a war they tried to withdraw as fast as they could though. Didn't matter anymore ;x Ops went down so fast we were as good as dead :D TRWF appologized though... And I still them

Well I think we had Brenda taping it but unfortunately he died after 15 minutes ;( Don't think anyone else was taping...
