Nopec is going to be the counter-balance to OPEC. I created it as a way to temporarily increase oil revenue now so that all oil exporting countries that want to join can make money now. Then they should use that money now to create other infrastructure not related to oil, so as to be environmentally conscious. EDIT: For you it actually would not be beneficial to join Nopec, so I rescind that stipulation in order to keep the deal. Alright if you say so :thumbsup:

Norway will be willing to give Madagascar a loan. This is purely an economic deal, Norway ally's with no one until much further down the line. The conditions of the loan: 1. You use it to drill for oil. 2. You join Nopec in creating an oil cartel to combat OPEC. 3. You hire Petoro to build and operate your oil drilling and refining. Now this would be an OK deal if you were desperate for a loan. But I am going to make it a great deal. This loan only has to have 90% of it paid back, and there is no interest. The MAD republic accepts these terms, but I only have one question: Will Norway or Petoro end up receiving a percentage of the revenue from the oil and NG that is drilled?

I claim the country of Madagascar as the new MAD republic under my rule (Mutually Allied Democrats) Currently most of the country is rainforest and there are many small tribes living throughout the country, but with my task force of 1000 modern people, I have successfully convinced 95% of the 20 million tribal people to join my cause, to build a united country and government, and they are glad to slowly transition into a modern society. Currently we have some modern farms but we are in short supply of money, so any and all donations are appreciated. Once we have built a stabler economy we will of course pay you back. We are the world's largest exporter of vanilla so we can sell it very cheaply. Looking towards the future, we hope to be able to start drilling for oil and natural gas to export to our future allies, and we also would like to be a popular tourist site by offering scenery which is seen nowhere else in the world. In conclusion, I, as the new president of the MAD republic, hope to create a small but important country which will one day play a part in world politics as much as any other country.
