  1. That's interesting.... The WOM said that when Ardouge was first developing they lived in fear of a Mahjarrat. Does anyone remember a while back when we were talking about the thing under the bed. Some how some people thought it was a Kalphite. It was even proposed that there was a tunnel running from his house to the Kalphite lair. Well, we know of a thing drilling in that area. And looky what I stumbled across in the general P2P section. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=632763 The coincidence is kind of interesting.
  2. Just a thought, isn't Iban half Mahjarrat? The only problem with the WOM being half mahjarrat is that the majority of the Mahjarrat follow Zamorak. If humans can breed with Mahjarrat, maybe gods can also. Maybe the WOM is the son of Saradom. As far as the clan idea goes, that could be interesting, but I don't think we have enough people to constitute a clan, and if we did get enough people the ideas would all be spam, or else it would be next to impossible to keep up with what is going on. Edit: Congrats KC, your topic now has over 1000 posts.
  3. Here's a picture of the zamorock temple just outside the wildy on the western side. It also has the same carpet as the other temple... By the way, if any one feels like making any ventures into the wilderness just contact me... I might get some pking in.... (I will not PK any one in WOMDA though.) Off topic. You should have come to the TET event, there were tons of spoils. (I personally got a rune 2 hand) Edit: Oh wow, it is sorta scary what can happen when people are bored... [/img]
  4. By the way I finaly got around to uploading the meeting one March 3. If you need any more info about it you can talk to KC... Watch the video to find out about what I am talking about. http://files.filefront.com/3_3_07rar/;7 ... einfo.html
  5. Just a thought, you know how kingdom management works, well maybe JAGeX is going to do something like that here. From what I can tell the first gods (Armadyl and Zaros) were not any certain type of being. The current gods seem to be Mahjarrat. Maybe the next set of gods will be humans. The WOM will be the good god and some one else will rise up to be the bad god. Perhaps even the player can rise up to do that. (Ok, that would be a little far fetched.) Edit: Just a thought, maybe we could try meeting in world 96 today. That is the world where the TET event is going to be held. Just a reminder the meeting is at 7pm GMT. (2pm EST, 1pm CST, 12pm MST and 11am PST)
  6. The WOM says he doesn't want it there so obviously it is there against his will. It could very well be that the dorgeshun think that the WOM is the one sending the tunneling thing against them. Now they are trying to investigate them. The only problem with this idea is that the creature has been there before the latest upgrade to the dorgeshun.
  7. By the way, a quick hint, never trust Wikipedia. Any random drunk blow joe can get on there and write what ever they want. (I am sorry, but I personally do not like Wikipedia.) Oh wow, that is most defiantly an interesting find... Arav may have a whole lot more to do with this than we thought... By the way when you use the part of the shield on the WOM he says you should keep it. Also I am finding some interesting thins in my research. A lot of places referenced in these old stories are now surrounded by water or near it... It almost seems as if there has been a great raise of the water level. Also another interesting thing is that around the time that the shield of Arav came into possession of the museum of Varrock was also the change of the age.
  8. Ooh goody, another thing to add to my signature... Another thought, maybe what the WOM is interested in is not the new tower but the remains of the old one. I was talking to the WOM on one of my accounts and I came up with this. III. Also when you ask him about how we got magic he says getting it jolted us into the Fifth age. A traveler in the north discovered the key, although no records say where it was found. From here he learned to summon the power of the four elements as a weapon and a tool. They bount the power into stones so others could use it. In the land south of there they built a immense tower where it could be studied. Followers of Zamorak destroyed the tower. IV. There is a nomadic tribe roaming between the Troll Stronghold and Rellekka. (Ask about ancient settlements) He Also mentions that Avarrocka was a popular trading center. Ardougne formed under the Carnillean family with the threat of the Mahjarrat warlord Hazeel who lived near there until his downfall. V. When asking what are the biggest mosters he doesn't mention the Jad, only the KBD, the Kalphite Queen, and the Shaikahan. VI. When asked about underground stuff he mentioned the Dwarfs first. I. While talking he gives the impression that there are other places not in this universe you can get to. (While talking about planes.) Also he confirms that Zamorak was a Majharrat. II. What interests me the most here is that Arav was looking for something of the Mahjarrat when he disappeared, and the WOM thinks that he might find him. This brings me to a couple of conclusions: The WOM is very interested in the Mahjarrat. The WOM believes that the other plane that Arav went to has a different time. (Because normally he should be way past dead by now.) Also it made me think. Maybe the path to godhood has something to do with being a Mahjarrat. Maybe the WOM is trying to become one. III. Something big had to happen for the ages to change... So what happened to make the 3rd and 4th age happen? Also a traveler in the north found a key and built a tower south of it. We can assume that the wizards tower was the tower that was built. So, what interesting things are to the north of it... One thing comes to mind. Our circle with the stones in it. That very well may have been the key. They look extremely old and weathered. IV. Not important to me but it might be to members. V. His monster choice is interesting here. Also when searching for our four symbols try looking in these 4 places: Brimminghaven Dungeon. (the steel dragons) Entra. (Something to do with meditation) Menaphos and Sophanem. (their great walls) Dusty libraries. (For wisdom from those who have passed on.) Those are the places the WOM says he has traveled. Eh, I guess that that is enough for now... Edit: I never thought that our best source of information might come right from the mouth of the person we are investigating.
  9. This topic is kind of interesting....http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=630731 It pretty much sums what we have said lately. (and leaves a ton out...) By the way, xewleer mentioned Chaos Druids. One thing I found interesting about them is that they know how to summon. They were the ones who originally summoned Delrith... Also... the dwarfs have a mechanical monster that came through the rocks... That sounds like one of those tunnel making things. All the more reason for the WOM to form an alliance with the dwarfs. It seems like they have the up and up on technology. First they have the cannon, now they have this thing that can dig tunnels. Another thing alot of current day tunnels go under water. If the WOM was trying to attack the Wizard's tower that would be the perfect way to do it. They wouldn't even know what hit them. And also we know that the tunnel drilling thing made by the dwarfs is already in the vicinity of the Wizard's tower. Sorry I was gone for so long.
  10. Check out the Investigating the wise old man topic. (There's a link in my siggy.) The last 10 or so pages talk about the next god war, or something like it.
  11. I'm thinking about going member, but just for working on "Investigating the Wise old man" (Check my siggy)
  12. I can't come to this meeting just post whatever happens. : As far as the power shift goes, to get rid of Zamorock they would have to banish him to the abyss. Now the abyss has already been opened. Maybe while putting Zamorock in Zaros escapes. The problem of why he robbed the bank still bothers me...
  13. Even if Bob isn't Zaros he would be of great use because he lived during the first age while the gods roamed the earth, and survived. During that time he would obviously have acquired great knowledge. If Zamorock learned to become a god, than any person of high rank during the time probably would have tried to learn also.... Ok, this came out of no where but while I was writing this little bit up there this came to me: If he was trying to become god there must have been something associated with becoming a god. The only thing we know of him doing was killing dragonkin. Now dragonkin were nearly immortal. The only other immortal things out there are gods. What if they were the link to becoming a god. Robert was trying to kill them to become a god but in the process he lost his best "friend" or "helper" so he couldn't become a god, instead he was turned into a cat, because his helper was a cat. Now the WOM is going to try to become a god by killing dragonkin. His companion is going to be Bob. His only problem is finding dragonkin. The wizard's tower is a very old building and it former inhabitants would have known of great things. Undoubtedly dragonkin would have been great things. In the other tower Zammy mages tried to summon a dragonkin and in the process they destroyed the tower. This time the WOM plans to do the exact same thing with out regards for the tower. The only problem that nags at me is the problem of the bank robbery. Why would he need to rob the bank? The only suitable explanation (in my opinion) is that it was a cover up, but for what? Side note: This was all just really random thought without that much to back it up, but wait, that is what this thread is.
  14. As our little king here said, we are just having some friendly banter. (It makes the thread more lively.) Ah, a man after my own heart, it's all for gold. The only problem with that is that any one who would want to kill me is already dead, and if you did want to kill me you would end up dead to. It would be a good way to gain favor in Saradom's eyes. Also if Saradom was after domination than he would of course teach his king some of his secrets. Also the secret society hasn't been ruled out yet. Who knows, maybe he is in charge of it or has a position of leadership in it and now the society wants to start to take control. The only problem with this is that if that if this happened then the WOM would become a puppet and looking at his history it seems like he might have been a puppet and he wouldn't want that to happen again. (I like making run on sentences.)
  15. Hum... If so than that might explain why the WOM is keeping such close tabs on the black knights. If he was to become king than that would be one of the biggest isues to face. (I'm not even saying that that is what is going on, it is a possibility.) That could also explain why he robbed the bank. If he was going to become a god he wouldn't need money because he could just summon things and then hi alk them. If he was going to become a king he would need money, and since he can't tax the people yet he has to find some other way to earn money.
  16. I was forced to do it... Ok maybe not. While I was digging I found this...It is a little bit familiar... At any rate this is what will happen to all traitors. (I have a question, if your allegiance lies with Zamorock then why are you siding with another god that could bring about the downfall of your god?) That could be a plausible idea that the WOM kidnapped him, but it never really has been confirmed that there ever was a ruler or ever will be a ruler. If you look back at history, most of the time when there were great monarchies there was also some type of Democracy like Athens, and France before Napoleon took over, and England since 1200 something.
  17. I might come and drop some myself. Looks like fun.
  18. Humm... I was thinking do laws of physics apply in Runescape? If so than the first law of thermodynamics would apply to summoning. (It basically says no new matter or energy can be made or created, but it can be changed from one type to another.) If so than the WOM would have to have the matter already there, or else he would have to be stealing matter from other parts of Runescape. Just wondering to all you members out there is there anything said in the new quest about having to have matter there for summoning to happen? Side note: I don't think that this law would apply to necromancy though because you are just reanimating dead things. Also why do I have to be the ugly one? I'm not that ugly in real life... :-s :-$
  19. Args... I forgot to come to the meeting... Oh well. Just wondering did anything come up? By the way you are right... I do need a new avatar, exept I don't need an ugly one. Any ideas? Also if WOM is trying to become a god why did he rob the bank? Edit: I made this Avatar, but of course it is to big. I hope I can find ways to get the size down this time... but I doubt it. Oh well, it was fun to make.
  20. As far as elfinlocks being in there that could be a major thing, or maybe she is just one of JAGeX's accounts that they use for filming cut scenes. Edit: This is really off topic, but KC, regarding your location why would the FBI have a listening post in Siberia. After all they are the Federal Bureau of Investigation, so what would they be doing having a post outside of the US. So, ya that is off topic.
  21. Hey, meme, would you mind taking your precious HTML out of your post, it's screwing up the rest of the page. (I'm tempted to report the post... but then and again that's why I'll never be a mod, I'm ban happy) Also in my opinion there is more evidence for the robbery to be false than there is for it to be true. The only thing that verifies the bank robbery by the WOM is the recording. Other than that it could have been any one. On the other hand there have been numerous hints that it wasn't the WOM who robbed the bank. Like on one of the updates (I believe it was Swan Song.) It said something to the effect of: "His allegiance to the bank robbery has never been substantiated" or something like that. Edit: is it just me or is the page screwed up?
  22. Here's the video I promised... (I had to make it larger so you could actually read what was being said.) Never mind... it's to large for all the sites I tried uploading it on.
  23. I noticed a part of the March behind the Scenes that might pertain to us... Even if it isn't linked directly to the WOM it is linked to Runecrafting which is linked to him. (Plus it never hurts to find out some ancient history.)
  24. A couple of things to remember when thinking up these quest ideas. People have to stay where they are for future events. For instance if the WOM was put in prison, how would players who are doing swan song find him? If he attacks the wizard's tower than it would have to be a F2P update also. (It this is a series than it won't be F2P, but we can pray it is.) And again the biggest thing you are forgetting is that things can not majorly change from the way they were. He can't destroy the tower or a bunch of quests would be ruined. He can't be put in prison or else people wouldn't have him be able to identify quest items. A series of quests really isn't out of the question but you have to think about what you are saying.
