  1. Umm... isn't there a topic for this in p2p General?
  2. For the people that come from Runescape.com? They probably do help... for miniclippers who are used to being spoon fed their games... They really don't matter...
  3. Well... for starters I wish I hadn't gone thru 3 different accounts before this one... all of them with the same name. (alebcay, alebcay1, alebcay 1) because I was trying to stockpile stuff on tutorial island. (I spent 9 months on tutorial island on this account making 9k bronze bars that i put in the bank because I thought that they would be there on the mainland) At any rate I wish I had stuck with just alebcay at the least, or maybe even Fro gguy?
  4. Just looking back at the video the people turn into skeletons when they die... Just like the elemental mages.... Here's a link if you want to download the video of him attacking the bank. For me it helped me to be able to pause it. Here's the link Hope you don't mind... but I'm not gonna be thinking very much... 3 nights in a row all with less then 3 hours of sleep... I'm not really thinking lately. (I wonder why?) As far as lunar isle goes... maybe the WOM joined the lunar clan (postbag from the hedge) to spy on the penguins... Maybe he taught the clan some of their spells... (after all his spells do more damage than they should.)
  5. In my opinion Jungle clean up is as close to a woodcutting guild as far Jagex is going to go... Maybe but it would have to have more like a skill total of 1700 or 1800 because there are tons of players with over 1000 total level. (over 500,000 I am pretty sure) BUMP
  6. Back before every1 was going for 99 fire making... (before skill capes...) (I hope Oreo and Toast don't kill me for that) Back when you cold see your cb and total level in the stats screen.
  7. I decided to go try and pk at the rune rocks. (in F2P) I got skulled and wasted half my food on another pker. I go back to the bank and get some more food... Went up to the bandit camp after that. I was attacked by a level 83 (I was 75 at the time) and killed her. Then I went back to the kitchen in the bandit camp where a level 64 in full rune attacked me. About half way through a level pure popped up and started attacking the level 64. We killed him and I got the rune. Just as I picked up the pl8, legs and kite the 65 hit a 19 on me with a rune skimi, just as he hits me my crossbones disappear. I was one happy little noob. (as if I'm not one now)
  8. Actually I was looking into some of that stuff also... The first conclusion I draw is that his most important god is money, then Saradom. Here was a picture from the book that I found iteresting... Humm... This is probaly a stupid and/or obvious question but that is the evil chicken right? Yes it is. Why I pointed this out is that if you notice it says that the evil chicken was summoned by a mage... BUMP
  9. Actually I was looking into some of that stuff also... The first conclusion I draw is that his most important god is money, then Saradom. Here was a picture from the book that I found iteresting... Humm...
  10. Technicaly he doesn't summon he practices necromancy. (In one of the earlier posts this is discussed.) As far as connections to the WOM go... The WOM knows he is there. (the swan song quest) As far as his allegiance to any one god... I don't think he has any. Also Fluffy please don't see this as me being an old scrooge, I am just debating your points. (just in case you did)
  11. As far as your first point goes, we don't know the WOM"s level. It is never shown anywhere. For instance in the Swan Song quest guide there is a picture of him being hit 200 something damage and there is no red on his hp bar. That is like many other non level creatures in Runescape. Also I don't think that the skill cape applies to him. That would be like giving the guy in the mage arena a skill cape. As far as your second point: Doric's quest around way before the WOM was around. Also I don't think the WOM works with the "dark side." In his book money is more important than anything else, and after that Saradom. Also to clear up the confusion about the king of Fally: There was never anything that stated that he was kidnapped, it was just that Jagex was asking players what they thought happened to him, not what actually happened.
  12. Umm... Spending 9 months on tutorial island stockpiling ores and bars in the bank... (somewhere around 10k bronze bars #-o )
  13. But according to Rovin the king made him give the key to him... Also does any one know how long the ages were and when they were? (and what age we are in now?) I am saying this because I think there also might be a connection with the shield of Arrav.
  14. Here's my solution to the autoer thing... Have more player mods at places like the fishing guild and at willow trees in f2p. If a mod world hopped just at the willows at port sarim he could easily catch 100+ macroers. Nice idea... But are you shure you aren't copying Martin Luther King's Speech: I should start writing speeches
  15. I agree... But oh well Very nice idea though. By the way you should be more specific with the mini game
  16. Just thinking... Could this have something to do with elder dragons? Maybe they existed back in the third age? (I am referring to the Wise old man's books)
  17. To some extent it does make sense but it doesn't in others. IF Jagex did something like that they be brining around the apocalypse it would ruin their whole game. THAT WOULD NOT BE SMART. Think about it. Jagex brings in about 2 million a year on this game (at the bare minimum) and if I had something like that going for me I sure wouldn't destroy it. (This applies to all apocalypse theories.) I was thinking... I think one of the big hints here is that he only identifies things from nonmember quests. So any object that is going to be important is going to come from a nonmember quest. Here is my own quick little list: Silverlight The beads from imp catcher Colored goblin armors from goblin diplomacy The keys from Demon Slayer Map pieces from Dragon slayer Maze Key from dragon slayer Oil can from Earnest the chicken Pressure gauge from Earnest the chicken Rubber tube from Earnest the chicken Blurite from the knight's sword The knight's sword from the knight's sword The key from pirate's treasure The wig from Prince Ali rescue The skin coloring from Prince Ali rescue The key mold (or whatever it is) from Price Ali rescue Ghost speak amulet from the restless ghost The skull from the restless ghost Cadaver potion from Romeo and Juliet The package Sendridor sends to Aurbury from Rune Mysteries The notes Aurbury sends to Sendridor from Rune Mysteries The intelligence report from Jonny the Beard from Sheild of Arav The key to the weapons cache from shield of Arav Phoenix crossbows from the Shield of Arav The parts of the shield from Shield of Arav The certificates from the Shield of Arav The Garlic from Vampire slayer The wooden stake from Vampire Slayer That's all I can think of at the moment. I redid Demon slayer and here are some of my pics: Interesting thing, in the cut seen there are no druids or wizards there... The gypsy says that a cult of Druids summoned him... Also when talking to her you get the impression that she was there. Also this happened 150 years ago. (I think) Here are some of my notes from redoing the quest: Sir Pyrism (or whatever his name is) is the great-grandson of Wally. The king made him lock up silverlight so that it didn't fall into the wrong hands. Sir Prysim dropped his key Sir Prysim says that Trailborn used to be on the first floor of the tower... Capitan Rovin Dislike sir Prysim... so why would he have a key? (because he is part of the society?) Capitan Rovin says that the king made Prysim give the key to him Thats all for the moment as far as that goes. Important little tidbit: (this is before you do imp catcher) Hummm... Also when you examine him it says master of imps. Over to Mizgog. Look at this picture... If you make a triangle with the urns on the shelfs (what I was examining) and Mizgog the pentacikle (or whatever it is) is in the middle... (if it was perfectly strait up) That's all for the moment...
  18. Here's mine. (I took the time to drop them) It's pointless but fun :D
  19. No offence, but you would have to be one stupid old man if you are going to rob a bank without a reason for it. (Which is why I think there is a reason behind the robbery.) I like your idea, (KCHughes) but how does the WOM fit into it. He would have to have been there to know what happened... Also I don't think that Grayzag was the original dark wizard. He might be a descendant, but to me it seems that the only ones who might have originally been there were Trailborn and the WOM. He found out the basics of summoning from the wizards that were banished but he could only summon imps. Either way works, but why when they rebuilt the tower would they put the cage there? Maybe it was there to practice summoning on. While they were practicing summoning something new and bigger (Delrith) the new demon broke out of the cage an burnt down the wizard's tower. Or also there was an argument inbetween the dark wizards and the normal wizards and the dark wizards tried to summon Delrith to prove their power but he burnt the tower down. Either way after the dark wizards were expelled the normal wizards rebuilt the tower and formed the society when they rebuilt they built a cage like you were saying. Another twist on your idea. Lets say that the dark wizards were trying to summon something more powerful... Like an elder dragon. They tried to summon an elder dragon, but they summoned something with the base of a demon, but with traits of an elder dragon. What they summoned was Delrith. (This is a little far fetched but oh well.)
  20. Just so you know that is a very good suggestion... I'll volunteer for the royal army... Are we allowed to use studded armor? Just a sugestion, but if we can only use steel weapons/armor then the mages should only be able to use up to fire bolt, or else they will completely own.
  21. Take out all forms of teleporting, and leave only walking. (Fairy rings, ectofocol, and ships) It would majorly slow down many skills. (no abyss, no runecrafting, everything...) No banks Get rid of the reporting system/rules. (and mods) Make it p2p exclusively. (get rid of f2p)
  22. Umm... to be a P mod (NOT for the attention, but so that I can report woodcutting autoers.) Also umm... A mom that will let me go p2p... Oh ya ortiz, you got your siggy wrong. Money doesn't = problems; money= root of all evil. (Women=evil)
  23. Deadly reds for fast xp. (because there are bunches of them and usually there are eggs near so you can make str pots to use with them.) Hill Giants & Deadly reds together. (because you get fast prayer and you get the ingredients for str pots.) Moss giants (on Crandor) for money and prayer and combat. (and nats and laws) That's my personal view.
  24. If you search his bookcases you'll find a book called "Strange Book" and if you open it to the Reader's Comments section he talks about an upcoming "excursion" to get more runes from the Tower. Then if you talk to him about it after looking through his telescope he basically admits it. Hey, writing this has got me thinking. In the book he says that he's running low on runes, and that "another" excursion to the Tower is needed. :-k "Another?" I see that as either he has attacked the Tower once before (original Wizard's Tower?) or he's just referring to the bank robbery. Well, he might be referring this: Another excursion... Not another excursion to the tower! He is just talking about his "excursion" to the bank, that means if that is an "excursion", he will att the tower, and hey , if you ask me, he might win becaus ehe had defeated the Kalphite Queen alone :P Not Only is he a super strong mage guy but we haven't seen him ever use mele or range(i think we haven't seen that) who knows he might be hidding a Draggon Skimmy or Magic Compisite Bow :uhh: :uhh: Actually he has :D Look at the video of him attacking the bank. He one hits them with mele. I do agree the thing about "not underestimating Wizard Trailborn" caries a lot of importance. At first you just think of some humdrum crazy old wizard. Why would some one of importance (the guy who kept Silverlight) give the sword to him? Also could the royal bed in the basement be for some one like that. The descendant in Demon Slayer could be the Varrock connection in the secret society. Think about he isn't in direct power but he does hold some power over the king because of his ancestry. That sounds like the Templars to me. That would also explain why the WOM went to Varrock. Just a cotton picking moment... Lets say that the demon on the third floor was there for summoning. The dard wizards were trying to summon a new demon my studying it. The new demon was Delrith. They were thrown out and in the process they burnt the tower down. The expelled wizard went to outside of Varrock. Then they proceeded to summon the demon that they almost summoned in the tower. He went out and ravaged Varrock. The wizards back at the tower formed a society that if ever a demon was summoned they could stop it. They figured out how to make Silverlight and then the one knight used it to kill the demon. The one knight stayed in Varrock as a mole to find out if anything like that would happen again. Trailborn is one of the original founders of the society and he is now the leader.
  25. Well if that's true then Zezima must really smell...
