  1. King of Falador? Since when? Jagex is asking people in their pole what they think happened to the king of Falador. They aren't stating facts so that makes that whole idea invalid. I agree, but back in one of the reader letters the WOM says not to underestimate the powers of Wizard Trailborn. That makes me wonder because at first glance he just looks like some old demented wizard. But who knows, maybe he is powerful, and he uses stupidity as a mask. Back to the thing about the 3rd floor of the wizard's tower. Lets say that when the tower was rebuilt is was built the same way as the original one, and every one had jobs like the original one. Lets say that they were investigating summoning; that would mean one of the wizards now investigates summoning. Lets say that the wizard who investigates summoning is the guy that sent you on the imp catch quest. Also if you notice he is the one standing in front of the pentacle. So maybe his beads are what he needs to help him summon. Lets say that that was originally Trailborn's job. (and that he is a surviving wizard from the old tower) At any rate when they rebuilt they were following the original floor plan which called for a cage with a lesser demon in it on the 3rd floor for them to practice summoning on. Grayzag sneaked in and set up shop and learned how to do minor summoning. (He tried to summon a lesser demon like the one in the cage but he can only summon lesser forms. The only lesser form of a lesser demon is an imp.) He figured that you needed to have the beads to summon the full version so he sent his imps to steal the beads. They stole the beads but they were so stupid they didn't bring them back.
  2. I luv the random facts... They are almost as hawt as you are... (but compared to Mirrorforced they are like penguins on the north pole. \ [i know that there are no penguins on the north pole.]) By the way good luck... I'm currenty working on getting all f2p levels 60. (exept prayer) I can sympathize for you. (ok maybe not, I'm not going for as big of goals as you are.)
  3. Ooohh... So in that the theory this is what happened: 1. What's is face (the guy that graffitied the Zammy temple) Becomes a wizard in the Wizard's tower. 2. He gains a high enough rank to learn that spells can be made with out runes. 3. He declines the chance to study on Entra 4. He is bought off by the Zammy Wizards. 5. He is told that he will learn how to learn new things. (Summoning, Runecrafting, and the society.) 6. He tells the Zammy wizards 7. The Zammy wizards burn down the tower in their confrontation to find out what this is about. 8. He is thrown out as a traitor. 9. He goes to the Moon Clan (remember how they are outcasts?) 10. He adventures some more (and at one point even finishes off the Kalphite queen by himself.) (Remember Swan Song) 11. He settles down in Draynor calling himself the WOM 12. He robs the bank 13. In the bank he finds things that remind him of his old days in the wizard tower. (Like rune Essence?) 14. He turns his focus (literally) to the Wizards tower (and also Trailborn is the only original wizard who still survives)(Or also Mizgog (the guy that sends you on imp cacher)(didn't Trailborn send you on imp catcher, I could have sworn he did) could also be a surviving wizard. If you notice on the floor in front of him there is a many pointed star. He is the one who sends you after the beads...) Humm... this all seems fairly logical. (Correct me if I am wrong any where)
  4. Thats the thing about us F2pers we are always the extremes, either genuine players or genuine noobs... (oh wait, I wouldn't call myself a genuine player, so that means I am a genuine noob...) At any rate nice going I have been thinking about doing something like that... I just don't have the outfit.
  5. Nice guide 8-) New idea, I haven't seen anything like it yet.
  6. Humm... You're right, and that is not an aspect I have thought of yet... In that sense Delrith wasn't summoned, and those zombies were not summoned... That is very interesting. And another thought if Maglinguis doesn't summon that means that those wizards existed before... But I'm not about to go into that, back to the WOM. The whole idea with no runes sorta makes me think back to the whole WOM might have been a wizard and he was the wizard that taught the moon clan. He was taught to do magic without runes, and how to make new spells with out runes. That is why he could cast all those spells in the bank. (watch the security video) The secret society were the ones who invented the runes. They made them so that only certain spells could be used. The WOM was about to be trusted with summoning and runecrafting when he was booted out for some reason. (maybe the fire) (I am going back in history to the original wizard tower.) Also at this time and would like to ask that please only post comments relevant to the discussion at hand. I am not trying to flame any one though. And also this is a topic that requires thinking, so if you aren't trying say something important please don't post. (If you don't have anything good to say don't say anything at all.)
  7. I forgot to say something about that. Obviously he is well trained in lunar magics. I'd like to know if he knows anything about ancient magics. Anyone (members) know? Here's what confuses me. Lunar magics was only released to the public, what, four months ago? WOM must have obviously been involved in lunar magics for a long time before that, since he's been living in Draynor for about a year. That means he was in contact with the Moon Clan before anyone knew they existed. That brings me to two points. 1. WOM has traveled the world trying to gather as much information on magic as he possibly can. I think this woud reinforce the theory that WOM is angry at the wizards in the tower (possibly for its secret society or something else) and wants to know more about magic than they do, either to show them up or destroy them. 2. WOM knew lunar magics even BEFORE the Moon Clan did, and he taught the Moon Clan about it. This would mean that WOM was at one time the only known human to know lunar magics. What does that mean? He's the best mage on earth, possibly ever. I'm really sold on the secret society theory here. It seems to take root in just about all of WOM's actions. Humm... (l like saying Humm...) That would sorta fit with my idea that the WOM used to be a wizard in the wizard's tower. Maybe the WOM was about to learn summoning and that is why he didn't go to Entra. WOM learned the basics of how to make new spells and that is how he taught the moon clan. That is also how he has all of those different spells when he attacks the bank. Also lets say that the society is what kept him from learning of summoning. They were the wizards that disapproved of it and Trailborn is their leader. (I keep thinking about the reader letter that says don't underestimate the powers of wizard Trailborn.) The WOM feels that he didn't deserve to be not told about summoning so he went off and did his own little thing.
  8. Wowsers... I think that you covered every F2P method I have heard of yet. (And then some. I never heard of the newt's eye trick.)
  9. Wow, you sure thought thought into this. Oh ya and by the way, just wondering how long have you been doing this? (and not telling the world about it) By the way... This is very good, but don't put it in the AOW, because then more people will know about it and then we can't keep it all to ourselves... I'm so selfish
  10. Very nice. Good job on being specific. You might want to add some on how to actually fight her. (For alot of lower levels when they look at these guides, that is all that matters to them.)
  11. W00t 400 posts... Nice KC Oh well back to the point. I think the whole mason idea isn't very likely because alot of Jagex's history for RS comes from Greek mythology. I think that the whole Zammy and Zaros analogy is fairly accurate, but probably doesn't pertain to this. As far as summoning a god goes, that just doesn't seem like something that Jagex would do. I mean heck I have some crazy ideas, but we have to think about the type of updates Jagex does, the closest they have come to an end of the world idea is pest control. Wait a cotton picking moment I just thought of something. The wizards in demon slayer know how to summon also, because they summoned Delrith... Just thinking who all knows how to summon? Maglinus (or whatever his name is) Grayzag (he summons imps when you attack him) The wizards in demon slayer (they summoned Delrith) Frumscone (in swan Song you are asked to ask him for his zombies) (quick question to any member reading this, is Frumscone old? Like as old as say, Trailborn, and what color are his robes, are they a lighter color than wizard robes?) And the WOM knows that summoning exhists Back to the whole Delrith idea. First of all Delrith is a demon. (No, really?) Second of all he was summoned by mages of Zamarock. Lets look back in history. The Wizard tower was burnt down by Zamorock mages. We think that at that time maybe the wizards were trying to learn how to summon. Maybe the Zamorock mages were trying to summon Delrith? Maybe Grayzag is a spy sent by Zamorock to find out if the wizards are trying to learn summoning? Or maybe since the wizards when they rebuilt the tower put the lesser demon on the floor because it was originally there. And the reason it was there was for the Zamorock mages to see how it worked so that they could summon another demon- delrith. Or maybe instead of summoning Delrith they were trying to summon elder dragons. Lets say they suceeded in summoning, but while they were at it the summoned creature burnt down the tower. The only people who escaped are Trailborn, or maybe even the WOM. Lets say at one point the WOM became a lowly wizard at the tower when it burnt down. He was there long enough how to learn spells of the ancients but not all of them. (like the spells he uses in the bank robbery) He was just beginning to be trusted with the whole summoning thin when the tower burnt down. He never found out and went on with life. Now that he has settled down he has thought over his past life and thought about all that happened, and he figured out what happened. Now he has come back to figure it out. That is why he says the powers of Trailborn are not to be underestimated. (in one of the letters) Trailborn was the one wizard who did not approve of him knowing of summoning. Now the WOM wants revenge. Now then KCHughes, Would you think about changing the title again? Something like or something like that.
  12. Mods, Mods, wherever you all are could some one please clean up this topic? I mean after all didn't you say that this topic was for ideas not support? I mean after all who wouldn't support it? Ok, now back to the idea I mentioned earlier. For the icons for the slots, why not make a right click option for every item in the bank, that says some thing like This would give you not only the amount of icons you have now, but many more. I am not saying get rid the original icons that you made have those, but also have this. (keep your original Icons to skill icons.)
  13. Humm... interesting, the line also goes past the Zammy mages in the wilderness.
  14. The only problem with this theory is that in the swan song quest (members) the WOM learns of Mauglinus, or whatever his name is. (the guy outside of Falador) The biggest problem with the beads having to do with summoning imps is Grayzag had the imps before he went after the beads. (In imp catcher he says that Grayzag's imps stole his beads.) Maybe the beads were needed for a deeper level of summoning? My thought about the whole imp issue is this: Why would Grayzag have a lesser demon up there? I doubt he would have it just for company. (you never know) Possibly he examined the demon and learned to summon littler forms of it, the only littler forms of demons are imps. (or delroth, but he is from another quest.) Grayzag sent his newly formed imps to try and take the summoning beads from Trailborn, but the imps were so stupid that they never gave the beads to Grayzag. Edit: KCHughes, if people just start to post things like good luck (It hasn't happened yet) Could you edit your first post again and say something like: please only post if you have a new idea.
  15. Me, weird, why would you say that? Nice idea if you want it to be a bigger success, you are really going to find a way to advertise to all the noobs across Runescape. For example try to get a Santa in all the major noob cities (Varrock, Fallador, Lumbridge) to advertise it whenever the events are going on.
  16. I still have a feeling that this might have to do with summoning. If say Trailborn is one of the surviving wizards (I like that whole idea) then maybe he was a wizard who was working with the zamorakin wizards. The beads are part of how summoning works, or that is what they thought back then. While they were trying to practice summoning they burnt down the tower. Now Grayzag is trying to figure out what Trailborn knows but he put himself under a spell that makes him confused so that he can not tell any one. The idea with the all seeing eye of the Free Mason's is very likely. But why would the WOM be against them if they are good. The WOM is a follower of Saradom, or else he is a double agent for Zamorock. If he were a double agent for Zamorock then why wouldn't he just use normal spells not god spells? I personally draw the conclusion that he is either neutral or a follower of Saradom.
  17. There are a lot of curious things about the Wizards Tower. On one of the floors the torches on the walls are made of human skulls exactly like the ones in the Zamorak temple in SE Varrock. And yes, I was thinking the same thing about Traiborn. He has some peculiar artifacts in his little room, like a dragon head... I wish Jagex would pay more attention to WOM! :x Humm... Maybe they are brothers and now WOM doesn't like his brother because he kicked him out of the society. Maybe the society really are evil Zamorockins masquerading as Saradomists... Or back to some of the other ideas. Maybe Zaros is coming back to power and why he is siding with saradom for the moment is because he hates Zammorock because he is a traitor, and Guthix because he disturbed his nice little war with Saradom. In that thinking Saradom would be the least hated, so Zaros would side with him. But I still think summoning has something to do with it. Maybe the WOM plans to take over the society with summoned creatures... And why would he say "the powers of Wizard Trailborn are not to be underestimated?" Why not the leader of the tower? Could it have something to do with Trailborn is one of the original wizards that was there when the tower was first burnt down?
  18. only 325... (oops I forgot to vote the last 2 days) :boohoo:
  19. Me personally, Maybe a mom that doesn't say Whenever I ask for a membership  (but it is nice to have a mom who cares) (as I run off to empty the dishwasher) (never mind maybe it isn't nice to have a mom who tells you to do stuff ) As far as Runescape goes, well... For starters I'd say level 60 prayer and RC in F2P (I've been working on getting all F2P levels to 60) and other wise... Maybe... 85 smithing... (now that is a wish)
  20. I am naturally a person who doesn't care what other people say, and also all of my friends are real friends, so I really don't have to worry about being insulted for it. (not my fault that I have a total of 4 friends in real life. but then and again all of those friends are real friends.)
  21. But... I thought that was illegal. Weren't they banned when white bread came out? (or sliced bread) :-w At any rate... I mainly eat apples, some chips, (or sun chips) or some mustard with a little bit of sandwich. (Well only if it's spicy brown mustard )
  22. Way back when I was a member I did errands for him and he made me bring him a bunch of bars. Maybe he's arming himself? Anyway, back to summoning. I did the Restless Ghost quest on my secondary account, and when you go to get the skull from the altar in the Tower basement, that skeleton in the corner jumps up and attacks you. It's obviously a dead skeleton, maybe one of the bigger wizards in the tower put a necromancy spell on that skeleton so that it will attack anyone that disturbs the society's meeting place. ... Maybe it is there to guard the meeting place, but why would a secret society of Saradomist have their guard be a skeleton? The restless ghost was killed by a warlock... so maybe he stumbled onto the secret society, and they killed him? Maybe that was why the WOM moved to Draynor in the first place, so he could head up the meetings of the society. But the letter says that he considers Trailborn an enemy. If he is an enemy then why would he head up a society in the wizards tower? Maybe the society booted him out and now he wants revenge. Or maybe it is an even more simple solution. He wants to know how to craft runes? or it maybe he wants to overthrow the secret society. It sounds like to me maybe he was not let into a high position in the society and now he wants revenge. Trailborn could be the leader of the society and that is why he says not to underestimate the power of Trailborn. After all at first look trailborn is muddled, could that be a disguise so that no one relizes that he is the leader of the society?
  23. As I said before nice idea, but with the icons, maybe you could have premade icons (like you have) and also you could right click on an item, and select its image to be the icon for that slot. (e.g. you could right click on your purple p hat in its slot and select "Make icon" or something like that)
  24. Humm... that sounds likely KC. Maybe he was working on building his army, and the Kalphite under his bed is going to be one of his warriors? Also maybe he was trying to summon the penguins? And that thing on his desk, maybe that is his thing that he was going to send around to recruit his army? After all he asks for weapons for his little tasks.
  25. Wow... this topic goes everywhere. but back to the point. I don't think that the skeleton has that much to do with it . Jagex has this habit of leaving things from a quest. The whole thing with the tapestry sounds likely, but why hasn't it been discover by one of the wizards, or maybe that is how Jagex would plan to introduce this? The idea with the WOM and the king related doesn't make sense, unless the WOM is like an uncle. I think it is likely though that maybe the WOM and Trailborn are brothers because they are both old, and maybe the king is their uncle?
