  1. So no quest this time? Or is the event the quest? Sounds like you can do it after the week if you're members... so I guess they're scrapping the event?

And the thing... was horrible. Tedious, dull, wearing when it tried to be funny, in fact, the only good part was where the rabbit put on the bunny suit!

There was no quest completed message, so I don't think it was a quest.

Furthermore, I've got 2 words for all of you:

Moon cow fishing in fossil jelly!

So they gave up on the quests after two times? Just like with the one big update per month?

  3. Compfreak, I have come to issue a warning unto thee.

Once, long ago, was a mighty poster. A fount of knowledge, wisdom, and good. He fought trolls, enlightened the ignorant, helped the inexperienced, gave sound advice, and generally gave an even, unbiased opinion on updates or aspects of the game. But then, something... changed. Taint entered the waters of knowledge. At first, it was hardly noticeable. That mighty templar was usually for justice, but was just a bit shorter with people, a bit more snarky in replies. But the decay continued bit by bit. He retained his mighty intellect, but it was warped... almost beyond recognition. In the end, it was not pretty. The last time I heard from him here was to berate the mockers of a gold purchaser who was hacked. The time before, it was him against twenty others, arguing over some petty rule. I have yet to see him since. His name? It may be familiar, and most likely is, but I shall but hint at it. It began with a Q.

So yea, though I may be wrong, I see this same bitterness creeping into you, clinging to you. I give this not as a rebuke, but as a warning: turn back before it is too late. Enlighten for the sake of enlightenment, not for superiority. Keep thine opinions more closely to thyself. Thou shalt not mock others for the sake of cruelty and, above all else, THOU SHALT ADMIT THY FAULTS! For hubris is the greatest of faults...

  4. Grace brings the pain. The rhythm of blood begins anew.

To conclude: Fay autocrat impugns royal, yet The avatar liberates everyone? FREE! I think this all happens after the time When stars were entertaining June...in Bennath.

The Red Raktuber flies at midnight. (Well, maybe not 'flies'.) Regardless, I'm about to descend into a ventricle of darkness, and I don't know which hat to wear: swordfish, octopus, lobster?

"Wake the muspah. Don't wake the muspah!" - and that's just the first of them! Syzygy nearing: Ritual too. Watch those scopes and learn what you can before it occurs. Ralvash was last, who is next? Me? You? No, we're not one of them.

Now, where are those keys? Ah yes, the keys are left of Mr E Frdrty Wirdy and Mr E Utwrwir Wirdy. What a curious village.

Sheds are heavy; Sirrah is dead.

I think this hints at the third Fairy Tale quest. Fay= Fey, autocrat means dictator, and impugns royal means interferes with royalty.

So "The Fey Dictator will impugn upon the royalty." Or "The Fairy Godfather continues his oppressive reign, taking power from the Queen." The Avatar could be a hint at you, or something entirely different.

  5. perhaps your inventory was full when you opened it, and you ate food while running from the revenant, thus you didn't realize the problem
No, counting the chest, I had six open spaces. And five pieces of loot. Or maybe you're right. I could just be upset and unwilling to remember.
  6. So, I just completed a Level 3 Treasure Trail. Ended in the Wilderness. I got 21 Rune Bolts, a Rune Platebody, a Rune BattleAxe, a Magic Longbow, and a Saradomin Page 2. Oh, wait I didn't.

The Sara Page DISAPPEARED. One second the window with the rewards is up, the next it's down, cause a revenant just hit me with a spell, and I'm running for my frickin' life and loot. I make it to Clan Wars, pause to appraise the total of the loot's value, and, WHAT THE HELL!, THE PAGE IS GONE. JUST LIKE THAT.

This has to be a glitch, and, if it isn't, I am well and truly pissed. Now I'm just well pissed.

    Mod Edit: Edited Title

  7. to the arguments against me, however Messiah is Jewish, and the Torah tells that Jesus claimed to be the Messiah (I guess you could say as a definition of Messiah is saviour) but the Jewish believers didn't believe that. Also, the story tells that one day Messiah will come again, restoring peace and order to the world. This isn't quite so different from the Christian story, actually. (Not sure, something about Jesus Christ returning Somewhere? don't remember.) Anyways, sure the ratio for Jews > Christians is small, but a tiny bit of recognition, even just a mention would be nice, unless there is some racists playing Runescape.
Cool, we'll do Hanukkah zombies next year.

I also apologize for saying Christ died on Easter. I've got Good Friday on the brain, the actually day of his death.

I feel that the problem with making Easter original is the lack of secular alternatives. Christmas has all sorts of stuff built up over it's history. It's a more joyful, celebratory holiday and, as such, is more widely enjoyed. You have Santa, Jack Frost, Old Man Winter, the Nutcracker, fairies, and much much more. Halloween works for anything scary. Zombies, vampires, the Grim Reaper, demons, witches, heck even spiders can get a cut! Easter... has a rabbit. And chocolate rabbits. Nothing else. Heck, St. Patrick's Day has more folklore to work with.

  8.

I think we will have to do something for some regular bunny, than a quest involving him. And he will stay around south of fally till the 2 weeks is up than off to X place for p2p. But rest asured the reward will be bad.

Oof, forgot about the quest. I have no clue how they're going to do that without using the Bunny again. Unless it has more to do with rebirth or birth...
  9. I hate holiday events. They need to delete them, and all the previous rewards - or just make a shop that sells 'em. Or make a holiday plane which allows you to play all the events any time of the year.

"Holiday events" need to be completely re-engineered, they have been problems from the start.

Shush you! We're talking about Easter rewards and scenario, not holidays. Contribute or take your bitterness to your own thread!
  10. How else could you do it without focusing too much on religion?

I had no Idea Easter was Religious until I was like 13.

Quite honestly... that makes me want to cry.

    Why?

Ignorance. It's sad that, considering Christianity is at least in the top three world religions, he did not know what Easter meant until he was 13. It's, quite frankly, mind boggling. Everyone should know the reason behind every major holiday in the country in which they live regardless of whether or not you approve, believe, or like it. Just my two coppers.

I had no Idea Easter was Religious until I was like 13.

Quite honestly... that makes me want to cry.

On Topic: I hadn't thought about rewards, but how about a wield able carrot? Operating with it causes you to lean against the air, nibble on it, and say: "Neh... What's up general medical practitioner?"

  12. Ya, I like a cool outfit for skilling. Sort of impress others, you know?

Anyhoo, yesterday I saw this guy who was a Tim the Enchanter doppelganger. Little beard, Fremminik mage helm, Zamorak top and bottom, red boots, and the Staff of Iban.

  13. They could release a development diary on a new skill- Riding. In it, we'd get horses, terrorbirds, unicorns, and even weaker chromatic dragons! Then reveal it to be a hoax, in favor of Sailing. Then reveal that to be yet another cruel jest.

  14. I cannot wait for the "Mobilising Armies" minigame. It will be full of bugs at the beginning, of course, but I expect much for the time it takes to be released, maybe too much.

To be honest if there are any major bugs or game imbalances I'm gonna be pretty disappointed. They've been delaying this and hyping this for so long that I'd think they would have tested it a LOT.

I'll be disappointed, but not surprised. I still cringe when I think of the original Summoning launch- buggy, imbalanced, expensive, and mind bogglingly over hyped.

I also feel it will be a flop- at least as far as RTS goes. Looking at Armies of Geilinor, it will probably have no base building, simple resource acquisition, lag, and minimal strategy.

On topic: I honestly hope the "real" 150 will involve either the Temple Knights or Dragonkin. Both represent a serious threat to the world of Runescape, and either could give some serious loot.

  15. Actually I think this is a hint for an upcoming skill, why else they would have to do teasers about it? it's the typical modus operandi of Jagex

How would resting be involved in any skill?

    99 Procrastination.

I'd be a king amongst men at that skill.

But then I'd challenge you for that title!... tomorrow... maybe... if I feel like it...
