What would "break" Runescape
Honestly, I belive the runescape economy will break itself. People are so interested in making so much money so fast, the economy is slowly coming to a trickle. Coal in rs1 mean you paid 1k per cert, but you had to spend an extra month certinga nd uncerting it to trade. Now in rs2 you just note and trade. Yet whats the price? Still 200 per. Making the same money with one month less work. Look at every skill and ask yourself. In any skill is it truly possible to hire help...and still even break even, not profit, not loss, just even break in. I haven't seen it. To lvl smithing, a person will lose 31M to get to 99. Just to get to 99, and if he makes his own nats and everything to get there. If he doesn't, well thats 45M. Lets face it, the economy is dying.

A fun guide to RC pking
Its easy enough to pk and keep ur stuff. Just were dhide+glory. Now your three piecing with nothin to worry about. If you use protect prayer, then you can turn the tides on the pker. They always seem so suprised when they get hit with 4 fire waves in a row and get. "Oh dear, you died" HAHAHA so funny :P. Got a nice set of rune armor from that :P.

Training with prayer?
Me and bro have decided to try it. I guess first job is getting a hold of thirty prayer pots. At 5-7k a piece that won't be cheap x_x

Training with prayer?
That didn't destroy my fear at all :P. I just looked at those lvl 167 temple guards and they are HUGE! How are we supposed to stay alive around them. One slipup and you look like you'd get a one hit. Also what are prayer potions? I don't see prayer pot in the herblore list. Only thing I see is at like lvl 38 herblore getting you the Restore Prayer pot, which restores 33% of your prayer lvl. Is that right?

Training with prayer?
Thats the part we are afraid of. I don't see us fight the 195 demon and fighting through that underground are and all that crap to even survive getting there.

Training with prayer?
You missed the first post. The reason we are training is to get the att. level to WIELD THE WHIP.

Training with prayer?
Well I was hoping the prayer method.

Which weapon is better?
troll quests?? lol no you just go into the warrior guild...do some games around in there to earn tokens and then once you have 100..which is requirement to get into cyclopes room, you can go in there and kill cyclopes to get defenders(ring of wealth really helps!!!) also when youre in there, 10 tokens will be drained per minute and be kicked out once youre out of tokens. start off at bronze...then go out and use the defender on kamfreena and then go back in for the next wave of defenders...make sure you dont lose them or youll start at bronze again EDIT: no they ARENT tradeable/sellable(is that even a word?) I thought to access the Warriors guild you had to do the first of those multiple troll involving quests, something about defeating the big ole troll general who can hit 42's.

Training with prayer?
Yeah we are always on at the same time (Heymrdj and The Coolness). Umm ape atoll sounds bad for a Lvl 72 and a lvl 77 to even try to stick around there... Anywhere less hostile than that forbidden island? :-#

Training with prayer?
It'll probably take some senior players to remember this. On RS1 way back you could go to the black knights fortress and gain access by wearing an iron chain mail and bronze medium helmet. Going upstairs, there was a room that had an altar in it and two spawns of black knights. Me and my bro would sit up there many hours watching the poorly drawn rune 2h's fly down on their heads as we used our strongest prayers (no protect prayers were used, just defence, stength, and attack prayers all on at once, makin for some nice hits :D ). Anyways, that room was changed I believe so thats its not very efficient to train that way. Me and bro have protect prayer now, and we both need to get from 62-70 attack. Is there any place like that magical RS1 place anymore in the runescape world, where we could just wear robes ect and train with big ole dragon 2 handed swords, and not care what damage was done cause we have protect :D? We are memebers, so please mention somewhere, we are SO eager for easy blood :P. The reason we write this is cause 1. WE are not rich, aka no offers for prayer pots only 5k each or whatever, it would take WAY too many for us to ever afford, and 2. I don't like relying on pray pots, running out, and getting pwned. THX :D

Which weapon is better?
Am I right that you can't buy defenders? You have to do those Troll quests, then get the tokens, then fight cyclops through all the metals till they drop a rune one right?

A fun guide to RC pking
That reminds me years ago on rs1. Me and bro would pk anyone who tried to pk the wildy lvl 9 coal miners. great fun, got some nice items too :). We would just sit there with the miners, wait for some idiot who didn't stop to think "why isn't he attacking that noob miner? hehe this will be easy DUH". Good bye :P.

What weapons do I need?
I don't want barrows because of the repairs. I do not want something I pay over and over for to train with. We have decided on two D2h swords for 2.8 mil, to train with to lvl 70 attack. By then we should have the other 3.6 mil we need to buy two abby whips to go with it. We will sell our Dlongs most likely, and go with Dbaxes, but we may decide to keep longs so we have shielded slash weapons. Now just to get the 1.2mil we still need for the 2.8 mil. \ So far we have a mith plate job that once finished should leave us at 2.3 mil. We'll have to do something else to get the rest.

What weapons do I need?
You missed my point with that post. I want super weapons..aka whip, D2H that sorta thing. The long and scimmy are weak weapons, as is the whip for armored foes. As I said I need advice on the best slashing and best crushing weapons.
-
What weapons do I need?
Sounds good :). I like how you mentioned whip was good for training. That was just the kind of advice I needed. My brother was curious at what you meant by Ddp? As I said, we are gonna keep our Ddp++ as out poisoned weps. I was curious about the scimitar. A guy attacked me on cwars with one yesterday, and did a 9 on me max, and he was level 89. Seems like a pretty week armor against armor. Can anyone tell me the requirements of the weapons? Does an abyssal whip require slayer level to wield? And is its attack level actually 70? (we are both only 61 attack :wall: ) Any quest requirements? Same goes for the D2h. Anything required? Is its attack level still 60?

What weapons do I need?
Me and my bro want to upgrade the "lethality" of our characters. We have been first time members for two months now and still have a lot to learn about what is available ect. Let me list off what our characters have, and then I would like you guys to give us some recommendations. Heymrdj: L-70 full rune set with rune kite shield rune 2h rune baxe dragon dagger (p++) dragon long sword My major strength is defence and mage, I fight Block style the most, and use my dragon long sword the most, 14's normal, 17's with spec. The_Coolness: L-76 full rune set with rune kite shield rune 2h rune baxe dragon dagger (p++) dragon long sword dragon baxe (waiting on herblore to wield) Major strength is strength, Aggressive or attack fighting style, Dragon long sword as main weapon, 17's normal, 20's with spec. We want a mainline slash weapon for unarmored foes and a mainline crush weapon for castle wars and armored foes such as guards, nights, and metal dragons. We will keep the daggers as our poisoned weapons. I am thinking on abby whip and Dragon 2h sword. Bro is thinking just the abby whip and keeping the drag baxe as crush because you can use it with a shield. Bro says the abby whip is so powerful on slash, its crush doesn't matter. I on the other hand say the whip is no good, because having faced many lvl-90's with abby whips on castle wars, and seeing the sulky repetitive 0's against my full rune, and me only being lvl 70, I believe a crush is needed. What do you guys think? We got 1.3mil to spend so far, and should have 2.1mil by the end of this month.
