  1. If you have access to fairy rings..you are in luck. You can fairy ring tele there, and get another whistle off the table in the castle
  2. The fire oblisk is in the wildy =/ Fire obelisk is NOT in the wildy. the Fire and Water obelisks are accessed through Taverley Dungeon. the Earth and Air Obelisks are accessed through edgeville dungeon (I know air is Level 7 wildy...not sure on Earth)
  3. the Water Obelisk is up the ladder just past the black dragons/Zammy mages. Fire obelisk is (i think) a bit south of there somewhere (not sure in Fires....it's been a long time)
  4. also a re-spawn LEvel 43(i think) wildy, red dragon isle? Sorry can't quite remember, (i grow em, or go to the elf lands) but I think thats where it is Bet of luck count
  5. I believe the easiest monster for level 3 clues is Jellies....as long as you have the slayer level for em :-) and they are easy range.
  6. Sarcasm isn't needed at all in this thread. Don't post at all if this is all you have to say. This is a serious thread about the decline of polite people in Runescape. True, this topic you speak of has certainly not been done 100 times before. But I think the author is just ranting about an experience he had and asking everyone to discuss it so it doesn't have to go in the rant forum. Maybe "not just a rant" :-) I'm combat level 95 (not that that necessarilly reflects the length of time I have played). I still remember whilst doing the imp catcher quest, the other player who out of the blue gave me a set of steel armour. RS, reflects RL in many ways, there are nice and there are nasty people. A few ways I have found to deal with people in game that are rude or unpleasant as follows: 1.Don't talk to them, block em if you want, eventually someone will ask "why are you letting PLAYERX do that?"...the response of "OH...blocked em about 5 minutes ago, are they still being annoying?" or similar generally cheers everyone *else* up a little. 2.If they do something reportable...IMHO...never let em know. I get far greater satisfaction (and find that generally it is less flammable in game), knowing that they will get theirs (so to speak)...eventually. 3.explain to others how I do use the term Newb, I don't like the term Noob, however i like to think fof those who do use the term Noob....as "Noobsters" again, I find that this gives everyone else in the area a chuckle, isn't too demeaning to anyone, and lightens the feelings. 4.if it all gets too much...head off to port Phanstasmys or Lunar isle for some blissful peace It is a game, WE have the "block" facility in game, don't be afraid to use it, and above all...enjoy the Game. cheers Count
  7. I seem to recall some very vague hints about this some time ago.....but IMHO...I wouldn't hold my breath. If/when this happens, it's a "biggy" Apart from the initial mechanics of changing a character's name, a lot of other things to be considered/dealt with. Initially what comes to mind: 1.Name change....how it affects friends lists 2.Name change....does old name instantly become available, or is there a "cool off" period...or indeed does the name just become never again available? 3.I'm sure there's other stuff to be considered :-)
  8. Try em all, and see what you like. for me, I keep returning to pyramid plunder, Play the occassional game of PC, didn't get any longterm joy from any of the others...but that was just what I found. It's definitely worth trying them all though, and then seeing what you enjoy!
  9. if there is blood runecraft, there will be fast free bloods... like the double nats now... but i would say soul should be the one come first, as it got less crash to the runes market... The current sellers' price for bloods is ~500 GP each. Nats are ~315 GP. If Blood Crafting's released I can see Bloods dropping to 400 GP as a sellers' price. With everyone between 77-91 RC making Bloods (which, if they are 10.5 XP, would make using FFL plain stupid) there will be a lot more Nature Runes entering the market. I can see Blood Rune prices taking a hit, and Natures going to up 350--might just stock up on a few hundred thousand nats. there's a lot to see before we will know if that happens. (Death rune's anyone?). If the alter (whether it be souls or bloods) is difficult to access (other than via abyss), then a "crafting company" is unlikely to be very successful IMHO If it's bloods and the alter is not easily accessible prices may drop a little, but I wouldn't think too significantly
  10. check out http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=516151 cheers count
  11. Not sure on how long it will take you, but I've generally gone by the ethos of"make stuff during the week, and hi-alch in the bank on weekends" Banks (in fact whole game) is always busiest on weekends, so I try and do all my hi-alching in banks on weekends, and have a better chance of good deals popping up. best of luck Count
  12. Don't forget that wearing a glory amulet increases chances of gems whilst mining
  13. Here Here!!!! I'd recommend slayer....Not as fast on strength....but you are doing another skill at the same time!!!
  14. at that level, I'd go maples. Best of luck Count
  15. All things made at the workbench are flatpacks, basically can be sold to shops (at very little money) or traded to other players. Seems to not be a market for anything in flatpack, unless you have pretty high Construction level I believe many people do this to churn XP so If you have friends with Significantly lower construction than you, you can make flatpacks of things they can't and they can put em in their house.
  16. It's the old trade off, Cost Vs. Speed I recently bought a cannon purely for slayer, I make my own cannonballs (and yes you do chew through them very quickly)....but for me overall, I think it's worth it Best of Luck Count
  17. NOTE: the Ring of Wealth (ROW) does not increase chances of getting a clue scroll. If does increase the chances of any monsters rarer (and usually better) drops, and for this is totally worth it. Particularly with Slayer, IF you slay always wear a ROW Cheers Count
  18. Near Yanille is quickest in P2P for sure. If in F2P I'd say probably varrock east. I've found in the past it gets pretty boring pretty quick, And I try and mix it up, like Malhavok said...try em all
  19. Well IMHO, since the Contact! quest came out, and when you've finished it you've got a bank in Sophanem, I love pyramid plunder, got myself from 60 to 83 thieving relatively quickly, and I find the game to be ok, I tried the garden one....it's not for me
  20. So those creature creation altars are only there to make it faster to get 2nd ingredients for Herblore potions as u kill the created creatures they drop multiple of the kind of 2nd you put in (along with another item like cowhide or feather) ? So many believe, howver by the time you get the "other" item needed to make these creatures, Not that much of a time saver IMHO Do all the different kinds of satchels hold the same items and the same amount of the items? I believe there are "coloured" satchels, and "tea" satchels. Tes satchels can hold 5 charges of tea, "Coloured" satchels can contain 3 items of food (can't remember which one's sorry) Because I have a Rune Satchel and want to know if it's "better" than the other kind of satchels you can get because "Rune" items tend to be the best kind of any item or equipment. IMHO, not in this case....they are all equally not of much use
  21. With those stats, I would say range for sure
  22. I wlways talk to the "recommended" slayer master (in my case chaeldar) You may not always get the easiest tasks.... but overall i think it's worth it (more chance of getting a mosnter with good drops, or good slayer Xp)
  23. Actually three magixs there if you have access. gnome stronghold...also has nearby yews...and a normal tree patch, so if you've got the farming level, you can have a mgic of your own right next to a bank!
  24. I thought it only returns arrows steel or above? Is that wrong? BUT...it does give a bonus to range attack in any case
