  1. I recommend just keep on slaying, and range as many of the tasks as you can. Cannonballs are fairly cheap at the moment, so cannon when you can also.
  2. I've not tried it, but sounds like could be useful for penguin hunting?
  3. making compost and/or supercompost is also worthwhile doing as a starting point. (and can make a little cash along the way)
  4. For quick Xp your two main options are battlestaves and Dragonhide bodies. battelstaves are the easy option for waht you can get (constant shortage of getting the staves themselves due to GE restrictions i think), but....they do make a bit of profit. I'd recommend focus on battelstaves whenever you can, pump the profit into dhide, and then do dhide bodies. Charging orbs can be ok magic xp too if you choose to go that way, however charged orbs are fairly cheap these days. Also for a change on the way, a little slower xp, but nonetheless it is xp, sand plus seaweed plus superglass make, then blown into Orbs (if you choose to charge), or if focussed purely on the xp into lightbulbs. you may want to try the lighbulbs, but getting the wire was incredibly boring IMHO, Whichever way you choose to go....best of luck!
  5. Stick With Dhides as main Xp, but I'd also recommend battlestaves. Dependent upon the level of varrock armour you have, you can buy up to 64 staves a day from Zaff, then add orbs (up to you whether to do from scratch or buy) hi alch, and there's a little bit o xp, with a little bit o profit everyday. I found that charging orbs was also reasonable magic xp, so I did a fair bit of that as well, I'd recommend try a few runs, see if it works for you, and if not stick to buying components. Best of luck!
  6. I would think for a non member Mining wins hands down. there's not really any viable Fishing to bank spots (that I know of) in F2P Once 60 (or 59 + dwarven stout), mining guild is a good option for F2P Best of luck!
  7. I hear a lot of people have been buying to make various bracelets and then high-alch, perhaps finally the huge stockpiles many people had of gold bars are on the wane?
  8. When in doubt....slay until something else grabs your attention anyway
  9. I spend a bit of time viewing the help and advice forum, and helping where I can, but it drives me nuts when people say "how can I.....stats are in my sig" or similar. List the *relevant* stats in your post, there are still some of us concerned with bandwidth, who have sig's turned off! thus endeth the rant
  10. Have you tried all mini games? If not, I'd give that a go, Just got myself hooked on fist of guthix recently, not that I am very good at it....yet ;-) Or take a break... whatever you decide....best of luck!
  11. Mini Games are worth a shot too, I've met a lot of friends through clan wars and castle wars in particular
  12. Now I haven't tried burning vyrewatch yet....so don't know anything about that, but have burned a lot of shades at morton.... because I enjoyed it...and have also found that when I have a stash of silver keys (which I do most of the time), Quickest clue scroll's whenever i feel like doing a clue. I found fiyr shades with Magic logs good value (until splitbark dropped horrendously after GE!), and enjoyable....when I felt like it. I do intend trying vyrewatch out at some time in the future, and whilst it may not be the most "efficient" use of my time, if it's what I feel like doing at the time...it is IMHO the right choice!
  13. Greater demons in Ogre enclave perhaps? Occassional Rune Full helm drop, so have telegrab runes at the ready. I've seen a lot of people training there.
  14. I did a run last week, 175 killed, 4 sets o dragon boots Did a run this week, 285 killed one set o dragon boots. that's all i've done so far so don't know if they've been "adjusted", or if i was just really lucky first time, or just unlucky last time.
  15. Try all the different things available and see what you enjoy. Do not discount spinning flax without trying it. I made a lot of friends spinning flax at lumby. A lot of people would kill men at the same time, and then do a clue when they got them to break this up. I worked out how many Bowstrings I'd need for 99 Fletch, and that was my spinning "goal". Got myself enough flax to do that, and if i didn't feel like spinning flax...went and did something else for a while. I also found air orbs, and then battlestaves a lot of fun (I must admit I miss the thrill of Going up the ladder at the air obelisk....to see if there'd be any attempted pk'ers) Making dragonhide armour is probably the quickest xp, but not necessarily the most fun. Try em all, and see what works best for you Best of luck!
  16. Haven't tried it myself yet, but there is a guide in the AOW on Dharoking on Firegiants in the Smoke dungeon (I'm just waiting till i get em as a slayer task before giving it a go myself) Dunno, but i reckon it may be profitable...certainly fun :-)
  17. I'd give lobbies a go if I were you, If it doesn't work for you, you can always go back to fly fishing. don't forget you can use a fishing potion to enter guild 3 levels early! Good Fishing :-)
  18. I'd change guthix cape to Sara flavour. From memory there's a couple of Sara warriors in the South East corner(ish) iof the multi combat area, where the only other beasts able to see/reach you are zammy so should be quiet You may want to consider burthorping them, I find they are not great xp, or drop wise. Best of luck either way
  19. Plus there is usually a few weeks after a new skill comes out, before it can be affected by tears of guthix....usually allowing enough time to get some levels.
  20. last runescape mention seemed to indicate late january release
  21. I disagree, the closeness of the bank to the grand tree patch, and the fact that if you've grown a magic there it's yours alone makes this a better spot, generally for wood cutting. Lletya is good, but I now prefer grand tree
