Issue in Iraq - Updated Again!
As I stated before, many citizens of the United states did not want to compromise for the sake of the state from 1782-1796. There was much civil unrest and rebellions. Judging a government change after 3 years is really not enough time to declare it a failure.

Issue in Iraq - Updated Again!
Its racist if the Kuwaiti's don't give you rights but when Saddam doesn't let his people vote in free elections and kills them because they are Kurds you say he "just has to be tough on them." I totally agree. Demorcracy should be a universal concept, and Saddam was a sick man for the things he did. But without him, the Iraqis are suffering way more than what Saddam did to them. You cant walk outside expecting to come home and be completly fine in Iraq. It's that dangerous - imagine thinking the next car, restaurant, person or mailbox might blow up the next time you walk by it. I think it's just sad that the Iraqis were suffering when Saddam was in power, and now they have to suffer a lot more when Saddam was captured. The United States was pretty messed up for about a decade after we freed ourselves from the rule of King George. American's were so proud of thier newfound freedom that they did not want to follow a central US Government. All major changes in government take time.

GM foods!
Personally, I think world hunger is mostly a political issue. Think of the thousands of tons of food the UN and other organizations send to African countries, only to have them intercepted by local warlords and sold on the black market. Most of the world's starving are in these nations, sadly.

Issue in Iraq - Updated Again!
I am Palestinian. I know of this issue a great deal... Thats a whole different story, under different circumstances thus it is a whole different thread, thank you. For the record, I stopped posting after that ironic and ignorant reply. In your first post you said you were from Kuwait. Now you are from Palestine. Just where exactly are you from? I am American. I have Irish and Cherokee blood in my veins. I am still American.

ETA declares permanent ceasefire
Guys, keep the Iraq oil discussions to Kryptic's thread. This thread is about the Basque situation. Acceptable off topics include the IRA and other organizations that dealt with the ETA topic.

I'm trying to live up to my nice nature. Leave, now. You are about to be dogpiled with much hatred and ill will.

What would you do if....?
I've done it. I went to a public place in Dallas and wore black gloves so my skin did not show. I posed on a pedestal (cleared with owner of establishment) who was happy to play along. People were happy to let waitstaff take thier pictures with me, and I would do something wierd like make bunny ears on them or something (they did not know I was there until they got home :P). This one girl freaked out when I put my arm around her though. We laughed and then I just dropped the statue routine. I got a hundred bucks since word of mouth encouraged people to come to the restaurant. It was a funny prank...unfortunately I did not have a camera and therefore do not have a picture.

What are you talking about. You are mixing up the USAF problem in South Korea with the Iraqi Civil War. On SK: There are idiots all over the world. I am sure thier superior officers would do what the police could not, if only it was reported. On ICW: While the US provided the means for the civil war to break out (the dam holding it back was fear of Saddam's regime), we did not cause the hatred that led to the war. That has been 40+ years of aggression.

moments thats made you jump
Any moment playing Doom3 or FEAR. If something looks scary I just rush and hold down the trigger :P. Those "screamer" videos on the internet.

Issue in Iraq - Updated Again!
Wow, I respect you now. CNN, Fox and BBC are probally the most anti-arab stations I have ever seen. And Al Jhazeera is not the most anti-Western news service in the world? At least the few of us actually doing research for you care enough to spell things like Al Jhazeera right.

Issue in Iraq - Updated Again!
Most of the deaths are due to religious hatred, propagated by Al Queda and other extreme groups. If you don't understand why the Shi'ites and Sunni are fighting amongst themselves, look at Ireland and the religious hatred there.

Easy: CNN, FoxNews, and the BBC. Arguably the three most biased Western news stations. I don't trust news networks...ever. Spins are always added to get ratings over here, and each tries to spin in the way of the Producer's opinions. They are nice places to get facts, but to base an opinion you need to do research on both sides. And sorry about the Bush thing earlier. In my sleep-deprived slurry, I was thinking of George H. W. "Daddy" Bush.

ETA declares permanent ceasefire
Sure, the IRA declared a cease-fire, but that did not stop former dissidents from setting a bomb that blew up in front of a Catholic school. Nor does that bring one of my good friends (who was Protestant) back from the dead. (She was walking a Catholic neighbor's daughter to school). The violence will still be there, it just won't have political organization.

Older persons who play Runescape
I'd also like to note that I became friends with a family that played RS on world 9 (Parents and son and daughter). I was often training range at the blue dragons, and their family would take trips to random places. I gave the mom my dragonfire shield because she had forgotten one (and was wearing full gold plated rune). I saw them around the past year, but have not seen them recently (since I shifted my homeworld to world 46 for lag issues).

Clearing up stuff about the Order of Cabbage
Because Draynor Cabbage is evil. For one thing, it tastes different. In addition, the earth hates it so that it does not grow...it just respawns above ground... And Sledge, Mod Murphy said that the respawn would be fixed in Operation CabbageStorm.

Older persons who play Runescape
20 here. I found RSC in Nov 2002 but stopped playing. I started this file on RS2 without knowing it was the same game. I remember my first day two years ago, I was soooo lost. It was just going to be a few days of play while I was working...hah.

Issue in Iraq - Updated Again!
You do realize Al Jhazeera is like the most biased news organization on the planet, right? I mean, even worse than CNN. And your section on Bush sounds like a 12-year old who watched a Daily Show with Jon Stewart marathon. Wow, just thought that was funny, I'm watching the Daily Show with Jon Stewart as I type this. What a funny show, seriously. He even has a former Iraqi Air Force General that served under Saddam on the show. Never said the show was not funny. But some people have a habit of taking it as a serious news show and not a comedy show.

Does draynor cabbage have a bug?
More like immature. Mature people would realize that it is a Tesla coil. I know, because I know the person who made the signature for Batty.

Girl problems
If you want me to be honest, I would be asking this question to your parents. I mean...they have obviously succeeded at the whole dating thing. Compare notes with your trusted friends and go for it. It's far better than asking random strangers on the internet.

Issue in Iraq - Updated Again!
The rest of your post is a valid argument, but: Are you insane? Israel was founded in 1948 and basically UN bought Palestine...a move which the Palestinians did not approve of. Israel has been at war with Gaza for almost 60 years now...and TODAY is some of the worst fighting. Israel is the perfect example of what I am trying to say. There will always be insurgents in Iraq. The US only needs to stay in enough to train thier government and military to the point where Iraq can deal with it's own problems.

Issue in Iraq - Updated Again!
Well, you have to look to history. Has any new Republic ever gotten off immediately to a good start? The US was in turmoil for 8 years before the revolts stopped happening. Think Shay's Rebellion and the Whiskey Revolt. A major change in power results in inevitable turmoil, and it is unfair to judge after only 3 years. And the US didn't have an outside power instigating things like this (reports of Al Queda kicking dust in the eyes of Shi'ite and Sunni tribes to ignite insurgency). Will Iraq settle down under a democracy? I believe yes. But it's going to take a decade or so. I think the US should stay as long as possible to try and keep outside forces from intervening. We should pull out after a certain point to let the Iraqi army take over...but they lack expertise which only a guest nation can provide. US and British troops were in Israel for years training thier army, and now it is one of the best military units in the world.

My Answer About Cabbage from Mod Murphy
Im hoping the quest will be f2p. Considering 65% of our memberbase is F2P. I'm worried because sacks were put in for the OoC by Paul, but he made the mistake of making them P2P only and said that it would be impossible to make them F2P at that point. So here's to hoping. Ill ask a Mod next time I see one.

Stupid question, the colors of the rainbow.
Yeah, but I was on the assumption that he meant the visible spectrum. ROYGBIV are the most visible colors. At hundreds of yards to even miles away, the human eye can not distinguish the myriads of colors that are not refracted as well as ROYGBIV.
