  1. Oh, I guess it's working then, just because of the occasional neglect they give us. If they restrict it too much people will think Jagex as money-hungry and instead of becoming members they'll leave. Which is why I think if they leave it exactly how it is now, maybe adding a small few updates that add, not subtract (such as Holiday Events), then F2P will probably never fail. But if they start adding more restrictions, then I believe F2P might crash in is money-making goal. Yeah. But I think those small updates should be great and not minor. [/hide] But sadly, I think that F2P getting multiple major updates will never happen. Maybe every other year, something like the Stronghold of Security will occur. how does f2p deserve any updates at all? its p2pers who fill the game developer's pockets. We do fill Jagex's pockets with those damn ads. You may think it may not make much money, but how many F2Pers play per day? If all (10 milllion) players looked at an ad each and clicked it, it'd make more money than Members, if it adds $1 to them. We (bleep)ing deserve it because without us you P2Pers are (bleep)ed . 1. I don't think so, he has some good arguments. 2. It's not the (bleep)ing pay or not, can't you realise? I can't damn well pay because I'm so far away, far away from Jagex. I've no credit card, and paying monthly is bullcrap.
  2. Yes, I'm agreeing with you. It should be that, then. Let's plant trees (In other words, give iron items to newbs), throw trash in the trash (In other words, report rule breakers) and not waste water (In other words, not waste time talking to a would-be password scammer).

  4. People get carried off in threads without a true purpose. On: The hood is cool but the color does ruin it... Jagex should update the look of the robes and armors... let's wear our hoods and black armor and make the Order of the Dark Necromancer-Knights... Mwahaha... *cough*
  5. It seems unbeatable, and even mature people can be immature (I can).
  6. Exactly. F2P WAS RS back a few years ago, and still is. P2P is an "expansion pack". Oh, I guess it's working then, just because of the occasional neglect they give us. If they restrict it too much people will think Jagex as money-hungry and instead of becoming members they'll leave.
  7. I agree, and the second choice is best and can be publicated in a certain thread in General.
  8. Says who? A game is made for people to have fun. And to companies get money. To Wild Goat 14: That was the WORST and STUPIDEST thing I've heard in some time (The F2P "isn't for fun" part). You enjoy watching the grass grow, good bye! They don't try to make it as fun as they can for F2Pers, they dangle members items in front of them and try to do it to the point where they will buy members. F2P wasn't made to be fun, it was made for business. Jagex's goal isn't for kids around the world to have a fun time, its for them to make money. Most of you can't seem to get that Jagex is a business. Then you should have said it more clearly that F2P isn't supposed to be as fun as Members. It was made to be fun, just not as much as Members, your contradicting your own post. Jagex is a business, but to even get players they have to make even F2P fun. Meh.
  9. Man, you sure rant alot, but I agree with your rant. We don't abuse it, we don't even touch it or anything. m4tty: Now I agree with you.
  10. It seems much better than before. It'll give new players a bad idea, glad you noticed that. I started Runescape by playing it on Miniclip when I was 13. That was 3 years ago. Am I a hacker/scammer/noob/bot? I don't think I am...my blackmark-free Runescape career backs me up. Bold represents the parts that I'm the same.
  11. I am! But I don't really care. Does this have any discussion?
  12. thats like me buying a tv from 1 shop, then going into another and saying "Hey u should sell me this dvd player for free, i paid another shop" That does not fit in the context whatsoever. Death said about people wanting F2P to be gone, and not saying just because he pays another game he should get Members for free. You has now failure. f2p should be twice as restrictive as it already is, its only there to make people get members. due to the nature of the game itd be hard to do stuff like max level restrictments etc though. How does that have anything to do with any damn thing I said?
  13. Yes Rules. Negativism. Correctism. its just like asking what country someone is in... off someones phone number you can get their address etc... but off someones age you cant find out anything... It's not only about adresses that Jagex is worried about, it's about people faking being other people that their worried. Age is still personal information. I started playing when I was 10 years old, and I never acted immature (Okay, I did, but I was just trying to be funny, due to my lack of any real intelligence until the 12 years). I agree that there is alot of immaturity these days, at everywhere. I daresay I'm one the most mature of my classroom. If the more popular the game, the more immaturity, that'd make WoW a kindergarden. Yeah, immaturity comes from intelligence and the time puberty arrives. So, yeah, someone can have big testicles and be an idiot because he's stupid enough to think 2 plus 2 is 22. To your last line; WE MUSTA PURGE DA YOUNGA PEEPZ!

  15. yes it does. its asking for personal information which can be reported. asking a player age isnt against the rules, and only complete noob wannabe mods report for that... that rule is mostly for asking email address/ rl second names/phone numbers etc... It is. Your age is personal, so it applies. But, of course, nobody really reports it, I think.

  17. F2P is the same since ever. P2P is the one going downhill, let the people that hate F2P tell us or those who "visit" to insult. It is true there are [wagon], noobs, autoers and crap living on F2P, but the entire F2P community should not be judged because of much less than 50% of it is doing. I, myself, believe that there are much more mature people in F2P than noobs and autoers. I hope for a better future for the world... without Marylin Manson.
  18. I see. Pretty good comparasion about it. Now we start a Civil War to see who wins?
  19. Slavery? Explain, as my sense of understanding has consumes too much energy. Limp Biscuit. Ok, can I just ask, which way are you on this argument? hes f2p, he has construction lvl 1 Hmm.. looks like 2 different views to me, stop trying to suck up to the majority and actually say what you think? If not your posts are worthless and you should go back to RSOF. Kthx. =D> It's not worthless, it's the truth. We can't build bridges because we need a level higher than 1 and Construction is members-only.
  20. Most rule breakers? Then you should have said it more clearly, as you only said F2P and not "Most rule-breakers from F2P". Snare would be just like everything, some like or some hate, that's all. And a full bank space is a normal player's load with Random Event stuff and holiday stuff. I say we get to recover Random Event items for free or it's more bankspace.
  21. Don't forget Jagex is actually trying to make the game fit their style of play. If it wasn't for that COPPA law I bet RS wouldn't have an age requirement, atleast not now. And it's because of greed that RS is becoming child-friendly, as the children will say to their parents "0mG m0mmy paY f0r dis c00l game!" and if the members version doesn't fit their like, they won't pay anymore. Money has corrupted Jagex. Not all under 13 are bad and immature. I'm 12 myself (barely a month 'til my birthday) and my brother is 8, and he quite behaves ingame (I said INGAME). But most of the rest isn't.
  22. if f2pers get banned they lose nothing... f2p doesnt need anything really, if snare was added to f2p, clan pking in deep wild would be destroyed except for clans with 100+ people.... a couple of lines of extra bankspace is needed for both f2p and p2p really, because f2pers fill their bank with junk, and a p2p bank with everything needed for every skill is full... We don't lose anything? Go to hell, a hard to get item is nothing? Okay them, get banned immediatly after you get something that took ages to get or wasting 5 years to get lvl126. It isn't nothing, so don't be an ignorant [wagon]. I could not care less about Snare. And also, Bind is too weak to be used, and the majority of Pking is F2P. If F2P stores junk, members stores dumps. Personanally, I don't know this obsession with Achievement Capes. Untrimmed capes and hoods without the emote should be enough. What I really want is a limited version of POHs for F2P. And when I say limited, I say limited to things that can bought in F2P or whatever.
  23. Lol, agreed. Oh, yes. The bad thing about is because the balck color is different. It looked quite bad on my prest gown robes. Maybe a color update would be good (To everything, not the hood. The new black color is good.)?
  24. Report them, they're obviously hacking. You can become a mod esily through this. ...seriously, I've seen this before. It's hellish annoying. How you become stronger by getting weaker?
  25. I'm not stereotyping Miniclip kids, as I came from there to RS, but I agree that sterotypes should stop. This is the damn world. And I hate it. I don't think the time you became member and level matters at all. And you win the wager. I must have misunderstood your posts, then. I thought you were clearly bashing F2Ps. Sorry. (If the most of Tip.it has the brainpower of a sandwich that makes the majority of RS have the brainpower of a pebble)
