Let me tell you something. I am F2P. I can become a member. I have the money. But there are two major problems: I don't have a credit card and that damn "monthly-fee" IS crap. I'd prefer paying an one-time fee of... let's say... $40 (still bad though, 80 in my country :shock: ), I'd be a member right away. People say this because they have credit cards and think everyone else does. I don't, I don't live in the USA/England. Some members are jerks with F2Ps, BTW. Check out the "Why can't F2P have..." thread. F2Ps are scum? Demo? 6 years ago it wasn't a damn demo. It never was. It was the main form of play. It isn't a demo, it's a RESTRICTED version of the game- it is fair, you get what you pay for. In a demo, you do a single mission, quest, and whatever with 2 or 3 weapons and restricted everything. F2P is by far larger by that. I'm not saying you and other members that think alike are hypocrites or stupid, just a bit ignorant. We don't pay, no major updates? Crap, that got worst! Seriously, we SHOULD (not deserve or need, notice that) get major updates, but not a lot. We get roughly one per year. $5 is nothing? Not for the thousands of poor children here in Brazil or that don't receive money or even parents who can't waste anything. They can't waste a penny, saying it's nothing is useless. Seriously, this is Anti-BANKSPACE thread, not Anti-f2p n00bz! thread. And some members should be more... friendly and respectful towards their past (not those who started RS as a member, those who started as F2Ps). Click here to flame me. Oh, and "nice" people can call this thread "Grand Theft Auto" and the people against it "Jack Thompson".

Depends on the location. Maybe I'll throw them out, like you said. I use them when I've got nothing to do, or something. So I'll just throw them away. The tinderbox I carry it with me most of the time, so there isn't much of a problem with it. The hammer I could, but no. I'll chuck away the fishing stuff, I only use lobster pots now. The Ghostspeak amulet I keep as an... amulet. It does give few stats, but they are enough. So I'll have a lot of space, but still, my opinion is that F2Ps should get only a few spaces. This is a great thread, but hell, you should change the title, the current is too much controversial. Gave me a bad impression when I saw. Could be... "F2Ps needs only a few bankspaces" or whatever. Is it me, or this also became a thread for looking for junk in the banks? You stole the Wise Old Man's job :P .

I'm F2P, and I never had problem with bank space. Until a while ago. This is my bank. No commentarys about my money or items, please. Only 4 items are missing from there, due to space. My only quest items are the Weapons Store Key (which I'll keep whenever I want to go there), the Maze key (which I'm saving 'till I get strong enough) and the 2 Dragon Slayer map pieces. I won't drop the random/holiday outfits (maybe for that damn stupid reindeer hat... Why such stupid thing was made? Why?), because for Zamorak's sake, I don't want to wait 'till the stupid frogs appear again, and not become so dependant of Diango to get the outfits again. And I do multiple skills at once sometimes (curreently doing range). Answer? Just 5 more bank spaces are enough for me. A way to make the greek and the trojans happy? More bankspace... for F2P and P2P. The same amount (or less for F2P). Hell, people complain about every update. I agree that we shouldn't get ALOT of space, just a few. If people want to toast me (AKA flame me), grab your mith dragons, swear words, caps lock, n00b stickers and !!!'s.

Ah, the good old suicide hike... :D I remember at level 40 trying to get through the whole lava maze with nothing on : I hiked through the whole Wildy at around lvls 20 to 30. PKers only show up whenever I'm there "goofin' off". Too lucky at my first, and only, PK :D (no PKers showed up :D ). The Capes isn't something completely necessary, but it would be good. Since F2Ps' skills are harder to achieve, yeah. But bank space is better. But I really wanted POHs on F2P. Jagex could release some member skills to F2P (few, not all. Stuff like Slayer, Hunter, Herblore and Agillity shouldn't since of some reasons [slayer Masters mostly on member's only areas, Hunting areas are all {or most} on member's areas, same thing for Agillity and Herblore is a quest started in a member's only area], while Construction, Farming, Thieving and Fletching are ok [2 places you can buy houses on F2P besides a portal on Rimmington, there a few Farming patches but enough of them, there's lots of stalls and thievable NPCs, and it'd be easy to fletch in F2P [besides making bowstrings, I think]). But remember I asked only for POHs... I got confused with my own post. Argh.

Nice ideas. ATTACK OF THE 10ft GNOMES! Hey, people, stop it. RS ain't copying WoW. Choosing a race in a game is as old as RPGs (around 30 years...). Besides, new quests for specific races. And a new spawn/starting point (Dwarves at Keldagrim, and stuff) About the Rune plate fitting in a gnome... Why a flat chested platebody fits in a woman? It would... resize into a "Gnome Rune Platebody" and a "Small Rune 2h Sword". Use your minds, people. Unlike millions of noobish souls. Besides, it would make RS more diverse, and hardly, very hardly you'd see an player that looks like that awesomely hot elf female that came walking through here a while ago.

More bank space is the most suggested thing here and, until a while ago, it was neutral to me. Now, I'm also asking for bank space, because my bank is full and I don't want to drop my holiday items. Whenever I go to Wildy for a "suicide hike", I went with nothing. Now, I need to go with at least one item, due to the lack of space.

You win. Mage is horribly outmatched on F2P because bind takes more time to cast then it actually holds them for and its deathly hard to kill somebody in F2P cause most of the people are below lvl 20. Um, skill capes. Its a money drain for RS which is always good and its not like people are going to 'quit' members because you can now get a cape. Same thing with wildy capes. Wildy capes do absolutely nothing at all except help in pking (which is actually done more in F2P I'd say) so why not make clan fights and such easier and add wildy capes. Biggest thing I want though is a place to fish. There is absolutely no *reasonable* place to fish lobbies and swords. Infact, the only place I believe is Karjama which doesn't even have a bank and costs 60 gold (not alot but still a pain in the [wagon] considering it takes inventory space) to get there. I'd say adding a fishing spot by the wizard tower mine would be a good place. Its still a long walk but atleast it would help disperse the crowds and make it so Karjama isn't the only place to fish. Lvl limit wouldn't be nice. EXP total would be better. I'm a skiller and I don't even think its possible to get that high with only skills. I'm at lvl like 450 right now and that was pretty tough. Don't forget about Mage Armor. Mages have only one set of armor, while Warriors have more than 6 and Rangers have around 4. On F2P, that is. Wildy capes? Good idea. They're really cool, so I want one alot. Problem is going to Wildy with 50 gp... Agreed. Yesterday, I wasted alot of time going to Karamja to fish lobs, then wait a fire, use home teleport, walk to Port Sarim, repeat. Besides, the lobbie and swordie dock is full of perverted immature people. Just check them... um, trying to uhh... make a... um, in the chatbox... Ah, forget it. Don't want to brainwash little kids (IF there were any here) by saying stuff their ears shouldn't listen to, such as... I'll get back on topic . Lvl limit is never nice. Lol.

No, it makes Runescape the same as most games.. Most (nearly all I guess) don't have this. Instead, they have an "upgrade" or "gem socket" option. The same weapon with different stats is innovative, atleast for an online game.

You see you're the type of person that everyone loves to hate. You are the very type of person which causes arrogant member 'snobs' to tell you to just pay $5 and stop whining because you get i for free. So they make a P2P version of the game. They need to put stuff good enough in it so people will pay. But they should still care about the F2P. Something Jagex does is the fact they put NEARLY ALL new updates to P2P. What we, the merry F2P, get? Last year: Stronghold of Security, a nice place with a nice reward. And now, we get more graphical changes than other things. Yeah, everyone knows RS graphics suck and that they need a "makeover", but the main point of a game is to have fun. Everyone agrees we like good graphics, having ugly graphics sometimes makes a person give up on it as soon as they turn their console on. P2P got a new quest, new weapons, new stuff and all we got was graphical updates? Damn right. WE DON'T HAVE A CRAPLOAD OF STUFF. We have some stuff, however, comparing the stuff we have to the P2P stuff, that's around 25% to 30% to F2Ps. We have around 20 quests, the same for YEARS, while P2P has more than... 30? No. 100. A hundred. More than a hundred quests, compared to F2P's 20, same for years? A few more F2P quests would be good, even if they were 2 or 3, with the difficulty of Dragon Slayer (That's the only quest I haven't done yet. We don't help? 8 mil people don't help? What's the function of the Ads? Making the pages pretty? Nah. They, owner of the ads, pay to Jagex everytime some F2P clicks/sees (don't remember) their ad. If a F2P had to see an ad to make Jagex gain, let's say, $1, they'd get more than $8 mil. Jagex does SOMETIMES neglect us. Like I said, same quests for years, nonly grapical stuff... But they do bring in good stuff, just rarely. One update? Shut yer trap. Other F2P and P2P games like Adventure Quest offers lots of updates for F2P and P2P. And Jagex should be like that. I like RS, that's why I play it. So shut up. About the M4 part... Got overboard there. Should have said I got dissapointed instead of that. Why the damn I put that? I'm not damn whining. Iamdan, you don't need to be a Member to make Jagex read your messages. I'm F2P since I started playing, and they took about 1 week to answer my only question. A Macro for reporting Macros? Hahaha, the best irony on Tip.it! Or not. I guess it'd be awfully useful, however it's still a macro and what about the lvl3 skillers that can't be bothered to change clothing that are skilling up? Their hard work would go crap. I agree and don't agree with this. Sorta. I wanna see Jagex using a Macro to report Macros and them a player using the Macro that reports Macros reports Jagex's Macro so Jagex bans him because he used a Macro that reports Macros to report their Macro that reports Macros. Who can say this fast? :P

Citing an Example: In AQ, the fee started at around $15. Now it's become around $30. Jagex can't charge a HUGE fee (Don't even think about going through the $50). In my opinion, Jagex should charge a max of $45 and a minimum of $10. I've seen a game where a character has around 500 lvls to gain, and to progress through lvl100, he should pay around $13 or whatever. Not saying RS to be like that, but I'd guess a one-time fee would be better than a monthly "Xtra cheappy!" $5. PS1 theme? Hah, good theme... F2P is the PS1. WoW is the PS3. P2P is the PS2. Jagex is Sony. You get a PS1. You enjoy for along time, however you've done all that is possible in it. You get bored as hell. So, you go and dream about the PS3. But it's costly as hell. Way more than a PS2. However, Sony (or, as like I want to call them, "The Arrogant [bleep]" [still an example. Not saying that Jagex are arrogant [bleep]es]) decides that they want more money from their players. PS2 costs now a miserably $5, however you pay that few forever. Otherwise, you get kicked off. The American/British/Anyone with PayPal has alot of fun. However again, the Brazilian/Someone who isn't from USA or England/Anyone without PayPal can't afford keep sendind fiveys to Sony every month. They live too far away. They can't risk every month $5 by sending it through the mail. You guys see, if Sony ever made the PS2 $5 but charge $5 per month, me, my friends, and anyone from the second part wouldn't be able to play anymore. However, the PS2 is good even costing more than $100, because you buy it, get games, and be forever happy. If Jagex made 1-Time-Fee! they'd have more Members, which could mean more money. Even though they now get over $5 million per month, more from the 8 million (Or whatever lol) F2P would want to be a Member. Could sound less lucrative, but it will benefit us and make us want to be Members even more than we'd ever want. Because it'd be cheap as hell, more people happy, more people on P2P, less suicidal acts (I guess), and probably less Autoers on P2P (Hey, which bot wannas pay $45?). I like RS and would like to support it, however I can't pay a monthly $5. Some people may agree, some not (Right, you "P2P-that-calls-F2P-the-F2P-Scum"? Lol).

Our level 99's are a piece of cake? And crap cake no less. I doubted that anyone with a 99 skill would say that, so out of pure curiosity I checked your stats. The results weren't surprising, well actually it was the lack of results that weren't surprising. If you are comparing two ways of doing something you should have at least done it one way. You can stay a free player for the rest of eternity for all we and jagex care, but if you want the member benefits then you have to become a member. It's as simple as that. You really don't hold that much leverage. By the way, I particularly enjoyed the implication that members are racist. Way to prove your credibility! Went a bit overboard there though... What I meant through "piece of crap cake" that it was EASIER for P2P to gain Lvl99 on skills. Not that you'd make it a day. Sorry, forgot to explain more (damn my lack of attention!). I take pride in my stats, though. My fishing is my highest with just 53. I'm no great. I'm only Combat Lvl40. And last time I played was less than half an year ago. And I can't be F2P eternally. RS will end someday, lol, though I got a point. I always wanted Member benefits. But can't pay monthly. One time's OK. Like I said, to make more F2P's happy, Jagex should make the damn monthly $5 into a damn one-time $20. If anyone ever played Adventure Quest, you'll know they have a one-time fee to be P2P. And nobody ever, repeat, EVER got pissed off at it. We should start a petition for a one-time fee, lol. Some people agreed with this once.

Calling us F2P scum, all noob and Autoers are the same thing a white person discriminating a black person. They think their the best. We want Updates because we only, and ONLY, get a big update about once or twice an year. The rest's graphics and crap. They think that more Payer stuff will make us want to turn into them instantly. We don't. We feel that we are crap and they're kings. We play the game. No us, no popularity, no RuneScape. And we have our problems. I'm a Brazillian guy, and Five "Flipping" dollars equals R$12 in here. I won't waste R$124 a year for RS. And I got no International Credit Card. My "salary" is a monthly crappy R$15 or less. I won't waste my damn money on paying that steal. No damn way. So, you damn hypocrites, shut the damn up and let us say what we wish for. You got what we don't, so get up, and go away. You guys're wasting posts here. Ideas? More Weapons!: No. Maybe halberds, but maybe not. We're okay with ours, I guess. Better-Looking Armor!: Maybe. An upgrade to the plates is nice. Achievement Capes!: Absolutely. And again I'll talk alot. Read the * below. More quests!: Yeah, but long ones. Not like Cook's Assistant. A bit like Dragon Slayer. Another Skill!: Construction. When I heard houses were Payers only, I wanted to kill Jagex members with a M4. More Bank Space!: Yes. More Monsters!: Yep. Greaters aren't enough. A Mini-Game or Two!: Castle-Wars or that Pirate one where you make stuff are perfect. Houses!: More than agreed. *F2P have the true achievement here. It's awfully easy for Payers to skill, 99 is like a piece of crap cake for them. Now we take years or to the least, an year and months. They take years, yeah, but a lot less. We F2P need more attention from Jagex. Or we're just forgotten memories. Or, the best solution ever being made: A single, and only, one-time fee. No monthly. I'd turn Payer the next day.

RuneScape isn't perfect due to highly uncommon updates for F2P like me. They're more like graphics updates. Adventure Quest owns RS here. They got F2P and P2P, and a only a limited number of F2P can enter, however they remember they got F2P's on the game and every week there's atleast one or two update(s) to F2P incluiding new quests, different than RS, which only gives new quests to P2P's (In 2 years, F2P had the same damn easy quests!), and it's also a One-Time Fee to be a P2P! (Should've stayed like that. Z-Tokens and X-Boost are steals, ESPECIALLY the damn tokens.) Monthly Fee is terrible. Forget the small price of $5 (Which is around R$12 here in Brazil). I prefer paying only $20 (R$42 here) than $5 a month. Still, RS is good, and a true RPG: Do whatever your brain wants. Won't even mention WoW. Damn, $20 for the game, and them $15 a month? No damn way, Blizzard! What's Rakion? Guild Wars? Also called "WoW For Poor People (WoWFPP)", guess you'll only pay for buying the game, but still, if I installed it on my crappy PC, it'd blow on my face. Quick text: AQ owns RS on price (Just forgetting about the "Steals"), both own WoW on price (Though not fun or what) and GW too. AQ wins in price, which's crucial on these. WoW and RS tie in fun, I guess (Never played WoW or GW). So, I'd say AQ owns RS on this, and RS owns AQ in that. !TIE!

Zamorak. He's better than Sarah, in my opinion. Atleast we know Zam's past and Sarah's not. And because all good gods are the same: they look like Dumbledore from HP. The evil ones are more varied. Zam looks like an ugly demon. Seth, that evil god from Egypt, is man with a chackal head (I think. Don't remember history right now). Fenris, from Norse Mithology, is a giganormous wolf. About Mr. Gut Hicks... I don't enjoy neutrals. And neither balance. And the other gods like Zaros, Armadyl, Ichtlarin (or whatever his name is)... Forget them. Notes: I called Saradomin Sarah on purpose. And Gut Hicks is better than Guthix ('tleast in my opinion).

I don't PK, but I had to do it once for a friend of mine. It was sorta funny about what happened at the Wildy. But since this's about PK equipment, I'll leave the stories. Mith Chain Mith Legs Red Gloves Fight Boots Mith Long Mith Kite (Or Square. I don't remember) Red Cape I think that's that. And I was using Chain because this friend's other friend Back-Stabbed us once and I lost full Mith... (Good that I now had full mith again and 20k. Though I sold the full mith, after this friend gave me FREE full addy...)

It ain't expensive, the big problem is MONTHLY FEE. If it was just a one-time fee, there would be more members (Some people agreed with me about this), including me. My parents said they can pay monthly. They said they can only pay for a month, then no more. JaGex, make it a one-time fee.

There's this Smiley ad, that whenever it shows up, the game lags so much, so much I nearly got killed in Varrock Sewers by the Red Spiders (I was getting their eggs). It annoys the darn outta me. REMOVE THAT AD. The other ones do nothing at all. Hate the Smileys. Hate them. All the Smileys want is too Lag RuneScape, take over it, make it into RuneSmiley and make us drink orange juice.
