Penalizing a team for having a skiller makes good sense, in my opinion. Dungeoneering was never intended for skillers, especially since they cannot do the majority of the content in dungeons, and for the most part sit on their butts and leech. The fact that we used to bring skillers along was simply a way for us to circumvent the old combat 90 Nerf. They obviously don't want or intend for skillers to do Dungeoneering, and this is how they implemented that prevention. Penalizing people who are simply lower combat but still do the Dgs though... Is just strange. Maybe they are simply trying to encourage people to train combat. Or maybe it is an unforseen side-effect of making sure leechers aren't dging anymore. I do agree that leechers who don't do anything should be penalized with xp, but for someone like me, and you can ask people who I have DG'd with before, I run around doing puzzles and keying as much as I can. I might not be able to GD or the Boss, but I do plenty in dungeons. I think that xp should be based on how much someone participates in a dungeon, in other words if there is a high level that just sits at the smuggler all dungeon long, he should not get much xp either.

Some of the people I DG with have been noticing really odd xp depending on how many skillers you have in your group and also what combat you are. I was getting really low xp compared to the rest of the group (at cb 43)

You could do the tutorial on f2p, though you couldn't actually enter the Crucible minigame, and you can get 3 (?) trophy bones from it

Did Clan capes lose their stats? Also, I tested the Rune Javelin very briefly at Ghosts in SOS, and using abilities I got about the same amount of xp/hr as using MSB + mith arrows, despite ghosts being weak to thrown.

39 levels from my goal of lowest combat to 1k total. I guess for records sake, here is proof that I was/will be 23 combat based on old combat: (Not really an update)

Another possible place to mine coal, although a bit further, is the skeleton mine SE of edgeville. It's under level 20 wilderness so you can home port to Edgeville and run back tot he spot.

I'm pretty sure you're right and Elvarg is instanced now. Back then, there was an oversight with the boss fight. If you poisoned Elvarg and teleported out of the arena, you would be teleported back when she dies. This allowed you to smuggle things from Castle Wars and other quest items you were not supposed to have. Jagex fixed it in a way that once you leave the arena, all damage you did to Elvarg would not be registered as yours, because after the patch, Elvarg no longer 'drops' the head but you have to be there to actually slice it off, which is how I got to finish the quest on my low-leveled account with a help of a friend. That was a year or so back though, not sure if it's instanced now, or not. I guess I haven't done Dragon Slayer for over 3 years, so I wouldn't know. I do remember having to actually slice off the head though, and if memory serves me right, that was instanced.

I'm pretty sure you're right and Elvarg is instanced now.

The quest also gives 18650 Defence xp, so in theory it could have been done with only 33 Def and then bumped to 40 after collecting the reward. Yea, I assumed that much. I'm not 100% sure, but after adding together all the hp of the monsters that are required kills for the quest, I get 284 hp (more if you don't get the key on your first try). Technically, the lowest you can get it at is 24, if you lamp your way to the necessary defense level before the quest. Regardless, awesome job, pretty insane completing it at lvl 25!

I think that is that is the lowest possible combat. The rewards from Dragon slayer will give 33 Strength, I'm assuming you used mage to kill the lesser and other monsters (Thus the 20 mage, but it won't affect combat either way). The only possibility other possibility of lowering the amount of xp gained is if you have someone else doing the quest with you and kills the lesser and Melzar halfway for you (It's not instanced is it?) So 33 str (From quest reward), 40 def (to wear rune plate) is definitely minimums, not sure on hp...gonna go calculate that now.

I'm actually rather surprised you didn't get more member's items in those spins, very nice loot indeed.

Actually silver has -4 kg, the torch weighs 2-3 kg, so thats why the total bonus comes out to -2kg in the picture

Just an interesting question...with regards to current records on lowest combat to X total level, how will this be done once the new combat system is implemented. I am enroute to lowest combat to 1k total (23 cmb), but thats only based on the current combat, I will be 43 combat on the new combat system.
