    GHOSTS IN BUNKERS!!!
  1. Just what I was thinking too Trading needs to be less chaotic, condensed down to a single automated building. Edit: Well, semi-automated.
  2. The bomb has been planted! ........................HEADSHOT!.................................HEADSHOT!..HEADSHOT! ---Terrorists win!--- In other words, NO GRENADES. OR GUNS.
  3. I was thinking that maybe, instead of stalls, wherever there's a bank in a city, there would be a sort of "Trading Building" in that city too. What you would do, say, if you wanted to sell 100 lobsters for 30k, is this: You would walk into the Trading Organizaton or whatever it's called (can't decide on a name), right click the receptionist, and there would be 3 options -Buy item -Sell item -Claim item You would obviously hit sell item, then you would click Sell X lobsters (in your inventory), and type in 100. Then you would be asked to set a price, so you'd type in 30000. Then someone comes a long a little later and wants to buy some lobsters. They hit "Buy item" and they'd look for deals on lobsters (maybe have categories like that new bank thing like "food" "weapons" "armor" "bows" "arrows" or a search-like thing and you'd type in "Lobster") :-k Then he'd see your deal on lobbies for 30000, and he clicks "Trade" then maybe have like a screen up saying "Trade 30k Coins for 100 lobsters?" (for security). He'd say yes, and you'd get a message, "You have recieved 30k Coins for 100 lobsters", and when you went to this Trade Center, you'd hit "claim item" and you'd get your 30k. I would have to say the deals would be ordered oldest first, and newest last, so that as time goes on, newer deals eventually get sifted to the top, and are therefore more likely to get noticed. Pros -Speeds up trading of common items (lobbies, armor/weap sets) considerably -Lets someone be free to do something else while they're still finding a deal. -You can't get ripped off. Cons -This would not work for less common items such as tallys which are rarely traded. Maybe somehow we could fix this :-k Critisism welcome.
  4. I had no idea what "lobbies" were, as lobby is a real word and i took it in that form (by instinct). :-$
  5. Problem: Not a member. Would this be a member's only place? The only thing I mine is iron and sometimes coal. That respawns rather fast. I have no use for this, personally. Oh and I either don't get it or u just contradicted yourself. "random"-1st post "in certain areas all there would be is a certain kind of rock" -not really random as i thought. Either way I'd STILL think regular mining would be faster all around.
  6. I'm saying mage EVENTAULLY loses it's edge. (After the 16 max fire blast, you can't get ANY MORE DAMAGE.) although, ure right, ranger at around the same level is much weaker. I'll give u that.
  7. A. No, they shouldn't. They can make more runes for free. Rangers can't. The armor has very little to do with it. I'm talking about the WEAPONS. Mages can recharge "ammo" (to a point). Rangers CAN'T. IT'S UNFAIR. C. Yes, it's F2P we're talking about, cause I will NEVER go to P2P, so the big picture? For me it's F2P. Shut up and stop dragging me into P2P, cause I want NOTHING to do w/ P2P. So in my case, no they shouldn't be crying, mage armor is very shabby. They can make "ammo" though, and rangers can't. Look at it from an F2Per's point of view: Mage: Can't make own armor (very shabby though) Can make Weapons Ranger: Can make armor (which matters for a ranger) CAN'T make weapons (which also matters for a ranger). P.S. Why did I bump this up? Cause it's an issue to one of my accounts. Why should I have to dish out GP for ranger ammo when I can get mage ammo FREE? It doesnt make sense. It's like Jagex is encouraging me to play mage or ESPECIALLY WARRIOR (no ammo at all) instead of ranger. It's exactly what they're doing. It's harder to be a ranger in F2P than to be a warrior or a mage. Ranger armor doesnt matter, once you get it, its there, same with mage armor, if u care enough, but ammo constantly costs u money, where mage ammo doesnt. One Good Reason: The armor doesn't matter (it's a one shot deal either way), the weapons do (you must constantly restock ammo), and it costs money for a ranger to get ammo, but no money for a mage to get some. HAVE I STRESSED THE "MAGE DOESNT PAY $$$ AND RANGER DOES" THING ENOUGH??? I DON'T THINK SO!!! Still don't believe me? You will be thrown to the sig that in this case is all too true.
  8. Even so, ranger armor is a one shot deal. You make it, it never runs out unless u die. Pretty cheap just to buy too. Ammo is very limited, you must constantly buy more to keep up ure supply, and with a max hit for bronze arrows being 11(?) at 6 gp each, I'm definately gonna want more damage, and Iron or above adds up expenses FAST, often requiring breaks between rounds of ranging if u don't have a lot of $$$. Mages can get around this to a point (anything chaos and above is a no-go). Rangers can't. UNFAIR BY DEFINITION. Oh, and "warriors can do both"? Not only can they do both, they can reach the TOP of their charts (Rune Weaps and Armor) Mages and Rangers don't come close in F2P. ALSO UNFAIR BY DEFINITION.
  9. Why can warriors get full rune then? How come rangers get green dhide? I'm raving, because actually thats not the problem: Not true. Max F2P mage hit is (refers to tip.it :-w ) 16, rangers is also 16, warriors is 24. <--- THERES SOMETHING WRONG HERE. So it's not a defensive problem. It's an OFFENSIVE problem, or a lack of offense, I'd say. Warriors could potentially take out a mage w/ 99 hp in 5 hits, mages take at least (gets calculator  ) 7 hits. Bind might be a viable option, but natures are very hard to come by on F2P, costing at least 300 a pop, where members have them free after a time (of leveling). Mages are meant to be a "glass cannon" so to speak, to do lots of damage while being very fragile. They are very fragile, but their attack "bonus" wears off after a while, while their defense doesnt increase any. And because their defense SHOULDN'T increase, mages need to hit harder Votes NO. for armor Suggests a little more offense. P.S. Flames bounce off of me. I won't notice them unless ure being kind in your criticism. Yeah I'm probably wrong somewhere.
  10. I usually say "Do it" to suggestions I like (or are just common sense/convinient), but I'm speechless this time around. Votes If They Don't Implement This Then There's Seriously Something Wrong With Them! (EQUAL TO ABOUT 1000 GOOD SUGGESTIONS) Oh God they better not do that... Really why would they? I think I'd quit RS.
  11. "randomly" - Ruins the whole point. U never know where the rock you want is. And seeing as how you have to prospect first,WASTING TIME, i think it would really make some people angry. What if all i could mine was bronze and tin, and i kept finding high level junk? Even if i was high enough to mine everything, why wouldn't i just go to a preset spot where i KNOW what i'm gonna get, instead of running around prospecting, again WASTING TIME, and most likely finding ore i don't really want (assuming that even if i want two ores, say rune and coal, thats only a 1/4 chance I'll get the right ore, even less if u count bluerite, limestone, or gems). This probably makes it even more boring, but mainly frusturating. "I hope you like it." - I don't. Sorry. Votes NO. Oh by the way... No.
  12. so ure pretty much admitting ure taking advantage of our disability? No different than crippling someone and selling them a wheelchair. Ok, by that "logic", Smithing and Runecrafting should be P2P also. Gonna argue? You really have no argument. What logic? I see none, as my "Table of F2P Crap" will attempt to show (and pierce your highly adamant brain). Here's some F2P crap: Smithing = Warrior Equip (both weapons and armor) up to RUNE (None of the P2P ladder is broken) Runecrafting = Mage Equip (only runes no armor or staves) up to fire & mind for attacking (2/3 of the P2P ladder is broken) Fletching = It doesnt exist. You have to buy everything yourself. (The P2P ladder is completely broken) Why on earth would anyone not choose to be a warrior? You can get everything free! Sure it'll take you some time, but you truly don't have to spend ONE GP if u dont want to (just A LOT of time). EXACTLY. I've been thinking the exact same thing for ages. It's a shame that warriors can use rune & smith it, but mages can use deaths, laws, and nats, but can't even make their own chaos let alone anything higher. Same w/ rangers, they can't make ANYTHING, but they can use Maple w/ Addy arrows in F2P. Mages and Rangers can go up to about as high as a warrior equipment wise, but warriors can make their own stuff and mages/rangers can't. It's ridiculous. What on earth was Jagex thinking when they split up the "supply/ammo" skills so much in terms of what it yielded? Votes YES, AND A LOT OF THUMBS UP!         Constructive criticism (AKA Constructive Flames) would be nice. Unconstrucive Flames will be thrown to the SIG OF DEATH! :-w VVVVV
  13. No. (Nats are for alch and bind...says so right in their descrip.) I'd say more like 20 Air, Fire, Earth, and Water, maybe like 5 laws. Then I'd give it a Farore's Wind kinda twist: -You travel to the spot u want to teleport to later (option to set custom teleport spot) -You have to recast the spell after you teleport (one payment will teleport you one time) -You can't have more than one teleport spot at a time (making a new one will replace the old one) -Maybe a time delay like 5 mins after you teleport to set a new spot? Even then... I'd still probably say no. Votes NO. By the way, did anyone actually USE Farore's Wind when they played OoT? I didn't. :-w
