Could be all them god damn mods you know. And it has prob been recently updated and like alot of things gmod does not like vista and dx 10. Probably because it was made with dx9 in mind. But then again I could be wrong.

To expand on set-up, if you don't know what you're doing, it can be almost impossible. Which is what happened to me, I tried for three days with no luck. I KNEW what I was doing .. It just wouldnt work. We didn't know what we were doing and it barely took 30mins... Yeah but its all about the pc not knowing what you are doing. And if ms are willing to stop reading that crap and give you the exact same.

Learn to play the bloody class. And the trouble with pyros is everyone whining about how that they are so OP when just look how weak they are in close quaters combat against a descent team. What I meant is that disguises are pretty much useless (except as a sentry shield). Nobody is fooled by them anymore... this update allow spies to at least get into a decent position behind enemy lines for a decent height-advantage stab. Although from what Echo posted it sounds a little overpowered. No people 9 times out of 10 belive a good spy. Its just sense not to run straight around them if they are not firing at you etc. And avoiding pyros is the only hard part.
