  1. I absolutely LOVE shopping for presents. I'm the best gift-giver ever. And I don't care about if I get more than what someone gets me, in fact I'm pretty sure almost half the people I'm getting for aren't getting me anything. I actually think I kinda went overboard this year. I was just so excited! :D And the shirt says: GOD HATES [bleep] Except for Benny He [bleep]ing Loves That Guy uh, the first [bleep] would be an offenisive F-word along the same lines of homo Benny is the name of one of the other guys at work, since we like to make fun of him.
  2. I bruise very easily so I don't even notice those, and most cuts usually don't hurt or bleed too much! Plus on top of that I have a bunch of other medical "conditions" that tend to make day-to-day things more trouble than they should be. So if all I notice out of a day are a few cuts and bruises then yea, it's a good day :P One of the sites put up pictures from the Santa photos with the pets, the cat didn't really look at the camera in any of them :( But I kind of like this one since they're looking at each other: http://zuludogk9serv...49de4#h4ef49e04 And these are all the presents I have to hand out for people that I know from work so far: Still need 3 more until I have all I need for them.
  3. Lol :P Only minor injuries such as cuts, bruises, etc. Everything has actually been going super fantastic lately! Which just means that I've got a big dose of bad luck heading my way, probably just in time for Christmas! So maybe I'll have a festive injury to share in a week or two
  4. I'll trade you my low blood pressure for your low blood sugar!
  5. Grats <3 I took the pets to get their pictures taken with Santa today. They were both even in the same picture! The cat sat on Santa's lap and the dog sat beside them. I didn't take the rat though. I didn't think the people after me would enjoy having their pets take a picture with a Santa that was covered in rat poop :P
  6. Except there are 8 bathtubs, not 6 :P
  7. Nekyia's Ultimate Guide to Bathing **NOTE** I think I got a little carried away with this. And since I picked up an extra shift of work yesterday I definitely ran out of time today to write up the guide. I would like to follow 999's rules and submit this before the deadline, so it's not complete! In the end I had to skip most parts of the map and just put in the places with tubs in them since that was the point of the competition. I'll probably finish this later though, since there are a lot more pictures and I had wanted to write more about some of the stuff. All in all this was kind of fun, despite being ridiculously time consuming :P 1. Contents: Table of Contents What does it mean to bathe? Types of Baths Locations 2. What does it mean to bathe? Over the course of the past week I have witnessed several "experts" claim that their knowledge of the ritual of bathing is the best there is. They have even gone as far to mislead the general public by posting useless(just kidding...but not really, you guys suck ) guides that are all missing at least one bathtub! I feel that as an aficionado of the act of bathing, I must take it upon myself to bestow upon you all a true guide to bathing so that you may never have to remain unwashed. The word bath alone has several different meanings, including but not limited to: The act of soaking or cleansing the body, as in water or stream. The water used for cleansing the body. A bathtub. A bathroom. A building equipped for bathing. A resort providing therapeutic baths; a spa. A large container, used for washing or medically treating the body. So you see, your bathing needs are not limited to being met only by use of a bathtub as they "experts" have led you to believe. I have dedicated my life to finding ways in which bathing can be accomplished, so that you will never have to be restricted to making your way to a bathtub. You can bathe almost anywhere! 3. Types of Baths 4. Locations I have separated most of my maps by using the different towns in Gielinor. The rest are just whatever worked conveniently for a screenshot ( It took me ages as it is to look for all this stuff and it kind of exhausted me, so you'll have to bear with me if some of the maps are not the most appealing to the eye or if my organizing how this is laid out kind of jumps around). Also, I'm not going to put descriptions under everything, because there really is only so much you can say about sinks, etc! I will try to explain each location using this format: Building: Type of Bath - Location in Building *Note: When I say second floor I mean the floor above the ground floor. [spoiler=Lumbridge] 1. Castle: Sink - Kitchen on Main Floor: 2. Castle: Sink - Basement: You may want to choose the sink on the floor above as this one tends to not get cleaned very often. 3. Victorias House: Sink - Main Floor: 4. Farmer Freds House: Sink - Main Floor: 5. Castle: Fountain - Courtyard: 6. Castle: Fountain - Courtyard: 7. Roddecks House: Barrel - Basement I'm a little unsure how he has a barrel collecting rainwater underground.. 8. Blacksmith: Trough and Barrel - Main Floor 9. Seth Groats House: Water Wheel - Outside, Behind the House This is kind of a natural water source, but using the spray from the back of the water wheel you can basically have a combination of both a bath and a shower! 10. Seth Groats House: Barrels - Outside in Chicken Pen [spoiler=Draynor - 1 Bathtub] 1. Draynor Manor: Bathtub - Second Floor 2. Draynor Manor: Fountain - Courtyard 3. Wizards' Tower: Fountain - Courtyard 4. Wizards' Tower: Fountain - Courtyard 5. Draynor: Water Pump - In Town, West of Wheat Field 6. Aggies House: Cauldron - Main Floor 7. Maggies Caravan: Cauldron - Outside [spoiler=Varrock - 1 Bathtub] 1. Castle: Bathtub - Second Floor Of all bathtubs available, a bathtub that royalty uses certainly stands out. 2. Castle: Sink - Kitchen, Main Floor 3. Sword Sellers Shop: Sink - Second Floor This one is even dirtier than the one in the basement of Lumbridge castle. Very unsanitary, and probably would make you less clean than you were before you bathed! 4. Cooks' Guild: Sink - Main Floor 5. Castle: Fountains - Outside, West Side of Castle 6. Castle: Fountain - Courtyard 7. Castle: Fountain - Courtyard 8. Varrock: Fountain - Town Square 9. Varrock: Fountain - East of Horvik's Smithy 10. Grand Exchange: Fountain - Middle of GE This is probably the most exciting fountain to take a bath in. Not only is it a grand fountain in design, but you're also surrounded by people! (Well I guess if you're into that kinda thing..) 11. Varrock: Well - East of Aubury's Shop 12. Varrock Museum: Display Cases There are several display cases with water in them, however you'll have to convince someone at the musuem to let you into the case to bathe in the water, and believe my, that is no easy task! It took me ages before I could finally convince someone to let me bathe in one! [spoiler=Edgeville] 1. Doris' House: Sink - Main Floor 2. Monastery: Fountains - Middle of Courtyard 3. Edgeville: Well - West of Bank 4. Barbarian Village: Well - South of Helmet Shop 5. Black Knights' Fortress: Cauldron - Main Floor 6. Monastery: Font - Second Floor Normally this is used in a baptism, and there's is very little water in it, but you could probably get away with cleaning your face and maybe even both your hands in it! [spoiler=Falador - 1 Bathtub] 1. House North of Artisan Workshop: Bathtub - Second Floor 2. Falador: Fountain - North of Artisan Workshop 3. Witchs House West of Falador: Fountain - Outside 4. Rimmington: Well - Town Centre [spoiler=Port Sarim] 1. Farm North of Port Sarim: Sink - Main Floor 2. House North of Brian's Battleaxe Bazaar: Sink - Main Floor 3. Betty's Shop: Cauldron - Main Floor 4. Farm North of Port Sarim: Water Barrels - Outside Front of House 5. Farm North of Port Sarim: Water Barrels - Outside in Chicken Coop [spoiler=Burthorpe/Taverly] 1. Unferth's House: Sink - Main Floor 2. Soldiers Kitchen West of Bank Chest: Sink - Main Floor 3. Rogues' Den: Sink - Main Floor 4. Burthorpe: Well - East of Spinning Wheel 5. Taverly: Well - North of House Portal 6. Taverly: Dry Well - West of Rogues Den This one is pretty dried up, but there is still a bit of water at the bottom, plus a rope to climb down to it. And it leads to the next bathing location! 7. Taverly: Cauldron - Inside the Dry Well 8. Taverly: Water Trough - West of Pet Store 9. Taverly: Water Trough - North of Head Farmer Jones 10. Heroes' Guild - Fountain - Basement [spoiler=Catherby] 1. House North-east of Bank: Sink - Main Floor 2. Fishing Store: Sink - Main Floor 3. RPDT Building: Barrel - Outside Front Entrance If the barrel is rotten, I don't know how clean that water will be. 13. Kennith's House: Barrel - Outside Entrance 14. Thanks to all the citizens of Gielinor who put up with me barging into all of their houses and, in many of them, attempting to take baths in their kitchen sinks
  8. Wait! I have a guide too! Going by your post on the screenshot thread I still have a couple of hours to finish it! I want to play too :( Er if you make a guide Ill post on it as well. Yay ^^ I've been doing it when I've had time this week and I was going to finish typing it up this morning, it's just taking a bit longer than I though!
  9. Wait! I have a guide too! Going by your post on the screenshot thread I still have a couple of hours to finish it! I want to play too :(
  10. Hi Harpies! No new injuries to report :) Well, there have been injuries but none that are story-worthy. The other week one of my dogs trainers came out to where I work for a training session. She was holding my dog and we set it up so he would attack the other dog and she corrected him. It was amazing. I have never seen a dog corrected like that, I was in awe. She totally put the little [bleep]er in his place! Almost every day since then I've been working with him in similar situations and he has been good so far and hasn't been aggressive over the food. There's still a long ways to go but it's definitely an improvement :D Also, this is what I got to do at work the other day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIABAbYvqEA&feature=youtu.be That is one of the boats that I welded |^_^|
  11. Yea, I don't think there has even been one day where someone hasn't commented on him and wanted to pet him. Which doesn't help with his skittish-ness towards people. Plus it also makes it harder to get mad at him when he disobeys!
  12. Thanks! Sometimes I think he's too pretty <_< Yea I kind of like that they all ended up being similarly colored :P

I was doing some training with my dog today and I think we hit a new personal record. When I put him in a sit or a down he is not allowed to get out of it until I release him. While he was in a sit I got this far away and he didn't even move: He is the small white thing under the big tree. I actually went further than that after the picture but didn't want to tempt fate by trying to take another picture. He stayed put right until I got back next to him and released him. It was awesome :D
  14. Pretty sure I'd find a way to get hurt even working at a desk. Carpal tunnel, etc. I'm not entirely sure. I don't know if he kind of just used it to sort of just flick it out? Or just like the when the other guy used toilet paper, he just stuck it in my eye and the piece came out with the toilet paper. I really have no idea, I was too busy trying to hold my eye open and not move
  15. <_< I don't know wtf was going on today. Pretty sure the universe, or whatever it is that likes to [bleep] with me and gives me all this bad luck/makes me accident prone, saw your post and decided that I am clearly getting off too easy. I was using a miller blade, this: Also known around our shop as the meat wheel. I was using it to gouge out areas I needed to weld, and one of the metal chips got my in my left eye. And when I say it got me in the eye, I mean it was so lodged in there. One of the other guys had to use toilet paper to help me get it out, he said it was so far in that it was pretty much underneath my eyeball x_x It still hurts so bad. It feels like it's still in there :( Then about 2 hours later I got another one in my right eye! A different guy got it out using a business card before it could get too far in, so it doesn't hurt as badly as the other one. But still, both eyes in the same day. Thanks a lot Gwyn  :P
  16. Oh, I also lit myself on fire at work pretty good today. I was welding away and my arm was getting very hot. I just thought I had my arm in a weird position and it was too close to the weld so I kept welding since I didn't want to stop in the middle of the weld. When I finished I lifted my helmet and half my sleeve was on fire! The flames burned through my sweater and the shirt underneath. It didn't burn my arm too bad, it's just red and a bit tender.
  17. My mom was dating his dad and they got engaged so they were both living with us. So he was almost my step brother :P But then his dad got a brain tumor so my mom broke up with him. She's classy like that.
  18. I have to get up at 4:30 every morning :( I still have the fruit, so I guess I could try putting the zest on something, still don't think I'll eat enough zest to make it worth it lol. The only FF games I've ever really played were FF Tactics, both on GBA and PS1. Other than that I may have played a couple minutes here and there of others, but for the most part just watched my almost-step-brother play a lot of them, usually while playing Pokemon/Harvest Moon/Lufia. :D
  19. Lol, I really hope people don't buy it just to use as a zest. I think $10 is a waste of money for that thing no matter what you use it for
  20. This is what the fruit looks like cut open: I'm not sure if that is actually the fruit inside though. It's a bland taste and the texture of it makes it seem like it is just part of the peel. So I don't know if that's just what the fruit tastes like, or if there is just so little actual fruit inside the fruit that all of it is peel? It also has a strong citrus smell, almost exactly like a lemon. Either way, not work the $10
  21. I'm taking it to work today and I'll try it there. I'll let you guys know how it is.
  22. Yea, the papaya sign is for the shelf above. Apparently it's called a "Buddha's Hand".
  23. There's always time for harpies! Also, look at what I found at the grocery store! I bought it cause it was weird looking, cost $10 though :(
