Yesterday I went to the pub with some people from work because they have the best fries there and I've been craving them for the past week. So I figured I'd allow myself some unhealthy food if I convinced other people to go with me. Plus it also allowed me to pay for my boss and her boyfriends meals/drinks as a bit of a thank you for all they do for me. Though it comes no where near to being the same amount as what they do for me, but I don't really have much else to offer at the moment, so that's all they get for now :P Then today I had a horrible day at work where nothing was going right and I struggled with everything and wasted so much [bleep]ing time on the parts for the stupid boat. I like how it feels. Well, depending on how well they are suctioned on. The one she put on me the other day was really on there and when she slid it up to the top of my shoulder it kind of hurt a bit. But other than that 1 cup there isn't anything about it that bothers me. In fact with how unnecessarily comfortable that table is, I could easily fall asleep while she does the cupping.

I took Ammo on two hikes this weekend. The first one on Saturday we went out to a park we'd never been to before. It's supposed to have a lot of hiking trails in it. Unfortunately the trails are only somewhat marked and I'm having trouble with the maps provided online. There are a lot of horse and bike friendly trails which I'd like to avoid but without really knowing where I'm going it's going to be a bit of a challenge. Anyways, while we were walking we came upon these ladies walking the other way. Ammo got to them first and I heard the one say "Oh my god look at that dog". Which wouldn't be out of the ordinary since he gets a lot of attention for being good looking and looking like a wolf. However she sounded more horrified than in awe of his good looks :P So I thought that was a little weird and when I got closer she said to me "Did you know your dog is covered in blood?!" So I called him back to me and man oh man was he ever covered in it. His nose, mouth, chin, chest and paws had blood all over them! He looked pretty badass tbh. Turns out he had just bitten his tongue. I gave him a decent once over though to see if he showed any signs of pain anywhere else, but it was just the tongue. The only reason it had gotten all over him was because it was at the very tip of his tongue so while he was running around and panting it was dripping all over him. Plus after giving him a once over my hands were covered in blood too. I was really hoping someone else would come along and see us both with all the blood on us and why so I could come up with a story about how he killed someone and I had to bury the evidence :twisted: That didn't happen though. :( Today we went to a hike around a lake and about 2 kms in he had a spurt of energy and went of one of his crazy runs. He doesn't run like that often, but he looks like a total moron and it's probably the fastest he can run. His legs go all directions and he just gives it all he's got. He usually runs in circles coming at me with each pass trying to get me to play with him, but he had just eaten a giant mouthful of horse shit so I didn't really want any part of his playing. I don't think he liked me not playing with him though, and he collided right into me instead. I went down instantly, and not from him knocking me over, just from the amount of pain in my shin. It took a minute or two before I could even put any weight on my foot it hurt so bad! Now it's sore and has a giant lump and bruise on it. I was not too happy about that <_< Oh and I also went for my third acupuncture/cupping session on Friday and got a new batch of herbs to try in hopes of stopping all the hives I've been getting. I quite enjoy the acupuncture/cupping but the herbs are awful tasting.

One of the guys who works at the pet food store I frequent came over today so I could bake him some cookies. While they were baking we played sega. We played Golden Axe, NFL Football '94, and NHL '94. It was so much fun :D I don't think I can even remember the last time I had a friend come over to play video games with me. I think it was back when I was in Saskatchewan, so probably almost 3 years ago :( He said he'd come back again sometime, so hopefully this means he'll come play video games somewhat regularly!

One of the guys I work is kind of like that with his gf. I don't know how he does it. She's an absolutely horrendous [bleep]. Everyone at work tells him to get out of it, but he's always making excuses and says that he's so in love with her. He gets up every morning at 4:30 to sweep, swiffer, and mop the floors and do any other chores she wants him to do before he comes to work. This is all after she spends half her day cleaning the house since she only works half days, but if he doesn't do it she would flip out. She also has access to his bank account and he can't spend any money without her approval or he gets in shit. For Valentines day he spent a couple hundred dollars on her some of which included roses and a pair of earrings. She came to work that day and he hid the present in her car so she would see it after she went home. Well after she got home and opened her present she phoned him to yell at him and tell him how much she hates roses and the earrings and basically everything about his gift. He has to phone her every coffee and lunch break and I think maybe once a week he doesn't get yelled at in those phone calls. One day she started yelling at him because he didn't hang his shirt up properly. She was crying and freaking out about how disrespectful it was of him to do that. And after all of these "incidents" the guy will come back the next day saying things such as "Oh she was just stressed out, people just need to vent sometimes." He can't wait to marry her and have kids and buy a house. It's insane.

I approve of this :D Sucks you hurt yourself though! I saw my nerve guy the other week and he said the tests showed that my carpal tunnel has definitely gotten a lot worse than it was last year :( He suggested that I talk to the sports therapist I saw earlier that week and see about getting a splint for sleeping through the night and if that doesn't help he thinks I should get surgery done. However my boss and my landlord both think I should go the chiropractor/massage way and use that to help the carpal tunnel. It all really depends on how well this splint thing works out I guess. Also, my cat is being a serious jerk. More so than normal, and he's normally a massive jerk as it is <_< I think it's because I've been coming home so much later than normal. Which pushes back when he gets his wet food as well as reduces our talking/cuddling time. He actually made a bunch of noise the other night until I came to stop him then he looked at me and started peeing on my stuff! I am going to have to throw down before too long if he keeps it up :evil:

If you pick the right day to ask you could probably have both Ammo and my cat. Some days they are both so annoying that all I can do is think about owning a nice pair of fur-lined boots and mittens :P

Ammo had his level 3 graduation tonight. It went good. Not as great as some of his other agility classes. It was kind of what I expected though as he has been challenging me a lot lately. He actually bolted from his kennel at work the other day and almost fully escaped, something he has never attempted before. It's frustrating. I hate when he challenges me for alpha, especially when he's been doing so well, it makes me feel like we're almost back to square one. His off leash recalls haven't suffered from this though which is amazing. Hopefully I can put him in his place by next weeks class!

I would never. Laws are pretty uptight and you could get sexual harassment for that, even if the girl initiates. I handle coworkers with a 20 foot poll. But in general a hug means nothing I think it depends on where you work and who you work with. All of our conversations are horribly offensive, I don't think there is a topic we can't turn inappropriate. And while back at work I was talking to the shop manager and we were standing facing each other in front of a table. One of the other guys needed something from the table and he walked up and pushed us apart with his hands on our chests. Then he remembered that I'm a girl :P

Got my new phone in the mail today. It seems pretty awesome so far!

I missed like half the days for the paycheck coming on Thursday :( If anyone wants to pay my rent for next month I'd greatly appreciate it, because then I could buy myself and the pets food :P Rent is only $950, so no big deal <_< Oh and I ordered a new phone the other week (before I ended up being off work and realizing I'd need all that money) and according to the tracking it's out for delivery! Super excited to get it :)

I've played the waiting game with him though. He will not come to me, besides when he comes close enough to try and bite me. Once he is out of his cage though there is still the issue of picking him up. He just doesn't want me to do it. And I can't just let him live outside his cage so I eventually have to pick him up to put him back inside and then he is freaking out all over again. I really think finding him another home is the only option anymore.

I just don't think it's fair to him that I keep him any longer. It's been months and he still does not trust me. Trying to take him out of his cage causes him to panic. Once out of the cage he's fine, but I still don't think the stress of having a traumatic event occur on a daily basis is good for him. I've done everything I could think of to try and get him to be ok with me but it just isn't happening. I somewhat think he might have an issue with females. My bosses boyfriend came over the other day and picked him up almost instantly with no problems. It's pretty disheartening. I really like the little guy, but I think the best thing for him would be to live somewhere else :(

Well the past month or so I thought my carpal tunnel was coming back, and it's been keeping me from sleeping through the night. Especially these last two weeks. I wake up in so much pain and have trouble getting back to sleep. I saw the chiropractor on Monday and she thinks it could be tendinitis, and said there is a lot going on in my neck/shoulder/arm and so she did some adjustments and muscle work on me. That night I almost got no sleep and was sooo tired all day Tuesday and my boss finally said she wanted me to go home before I really hurt myself. So I went and bought some Robaxacet (which is a back and muscle pain reliever) and went home to try and sleep. I took one pill and woke up in pain less than 3 hours later. So I took two more pills, plus a tylenol, and also rubbed some medicated gel for pain relief on my arm/neck/shoulder. I still spent the night awake in pain :( And at one point during the night I was turning my head to the side and something snapped in my lower neck and now I can't move my neck and can barely lift my arm. I tried going to work hoping that it wasn't as bad as it seemed and would relax with movement. But my boss took one look at me and said she'd take me home. Oh and this morning I was going to the bathroom and the toilet paper is off to the side and it caused me so much pain just to try to reach it that I started crying! I'm so exhausted and in so much pain. All I want to do is sleep ;_;

I got sent home early from yesterday. And today I got to work and not even 10 minutes later my boss was driving me back home :(

Yea, I thought it would be for a wolf hybrid. I thought he'd be a big badass dog. Turns out he's tiny, and a bit of a princess at times :P Also, the lady doing my taxes thought Ammo was my guide dog. I had no idea I looked that "special" <_< But I got a $1600 refund :D Would've been $1700 if I'd done it on my own, but I'm lazy and I like the instant refund they offer.

Last night the dog and I got to have another private agility class. The only other dog in our class went into heat so it was just us. The instructor said we are doing so good that next week we are just going to join in the next level class. So we are basically advancing through $130 worth of classes. :D The level 3 class is in the hour slot before our level 2 class, so when we went in for class last night he had us run the course he had set up for the level 3 class, and we totally nailed it. He said we would've blown the rest of the level 3 class out of the water :) He even said that I have a natural ability for agility and pick up very quickly on a lot of things that people tend to struggle with. Ammo is also doing ridiculously well. I know I'm probably pretty biased in saying it since he's my dog, but I am so blown away every time we go into class because I can't believe just how well does things. I actually think we could get to the point where we can actually compete in competitions. I'd say most of the work from here on out is more training myself to be better/faster with my commands and be able to make my way around the courses in the most efficient way. I was also supposed to go in for a chiropractor appointment today but for some reason they did not get my message yesterday saying I would take the 4 o'clock opening so I have to wait until Monday to go in. It really sucks since last night was probably the worst night so far and I was woken up with the pain/tingling/burning/numbness and what not that comes with the carpal tunnel or whatever is going on at like 1:30 and I could not get back to sleep because of the pain :( And I'm getting my taxes done tomorrow morning. Did a quick estimation on them and I think I'm looking at a $1500 refund. Probably the lowest I've ever had, most likely due to being on workers comp. for the beginning of the year and being laid off for 3 months. Plus after a ~$5000 refund last year I think any refund I get will look like it could be better :P Either way, it'll be nice to have the money!
