  3. Like a harpy handler or something? :P The pain isn't much better today, and I couldn't even do up my pants :( I talked to the other welder and he said the only thing there is to do at work today is drill more of those holes, so he told me I might as well just stay home. At least I don't have to try and work today with the pain and not really being able to move my hand, so that should help. Plus I wasn't scheduled to work tomorrow, just be discharged from my physio. That gives me 4 days to recover somewhat so hopefully I'll be able to work normally on Monday when I go back full-time.
  4. I had a nice little accident at work today. I was drilling a hole into a piece of steel square tubing and the drill bit caught. The piece spun around and caught two of my fingers, my thumb and middle finger. It all happened so fast that I couldn't even begin to describe how the piece hit my hand :(. Then there was blood everywhere! Ended up in the ER for almost 3 hours. The doctor didn't give me stitches, just those sticky strips that are relatively the same as getting stitches (I think they're called butterfly strips?). Before he put them on he spent a good 5 minutes causing me severe pain <_< First he tried to stick a needle into the cut opening of the thumb wound in order to freeze it so he could try and lift the flap of skin, but the needle caused me so much pain that he stopped and decided "Well I guess we can just try lifting the flap with the pain and no freezing then". And once he had it lifted he kept lifting it up and moving it just to show me that "It's just skin, see, just skin!" It hurt soo unbelievably bad I had tears and was crying out from the pain. Then he was nice enough to do the same with the second wound  This is supposed to be my last week on workers comp, which makes it kind of look like I'm trying to extend my claim by being injured again :P
  5. Taxes went wayyy better than expected. Not only did I get to pay the student rate for having them done, but I also got instant cash back. I paid $30 to get paid $2500. imokwiththis.
  6. Had my first 4 day work week since getting carpal tunnel, turned out really good. Only one more week until I get to go back full time :shades: I also got my first credit card today, and I'm going to get my taxes done later today. Hopefully it's like the previous years and I get a fair bit back :D
  7. My sister and I watched Human Centipede last night, and then Human Centipede 2 tonight. I didn't mind the first one, there were a few parts that I really liked. As for the second one, it was definitely more messed up in terms of what goes on in the movie. Definitely think I prefer the second one to the first one :^_^:
  8. Two snipes within a minute of each other :P sc: Fresi:
  9. Sorry to hear that :( Hope you're ok <3
  10. Haha, my cat has a goatee too! :P
  11. THIS. THIS SO MUCH. I agree with this too. Never been a fan of tea. Or coffee either for that matter.
  12. I think I'm getting sick too :( But I refuse to get sick, I want to go to work!
  13. lmfao WELD THIS! be sure to engrave "hello? yes this is phone" Lol, I'll see what I can do :P
  14. I need some ideas on what I should weld. We're getting pretty slow at work so I've been told that I can start doing side projects when we have nothing else to do. I have a couple things in mind but they're all pretty small projects and I'll probably be finished them in a day or two.
  15. I think this is the first clue I've ever had with two rewards ^^
  16. Lol, I thought this was hilarious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cCo9amnue4
  17. This calls for some karmic trickery. I'm welcome to ideas :P
  18. Having serious roommate issues. Making me rage so much
  19. I made my first attempt at a fire cape today. Died on wave 52? Something like that. Got distracted by the cat trying to eat the beef heart I was letting cool <_<
  20. To add to the list of locations for the clue: "This scroll will work on the faraway island of Mos Le'Harmless. Orb scan range: 27 paces." It was east of Trouble Brewing along the beach. I took pictures so you would know where and can word it as you like. :)
  21. Why would cuddling with a vet help? It's relaxing Haha, ok, I'll call up Dr. Funk and see if he wants to cuddle :P But the dog does seem better today. He ate when we woke up and played like normal at morning dog park. His nose is still runny, so hopefully it's nothing more than a cold.
  22. I'm having trouble sleeping tonight. I think there might be something wrong with my dog :( He's been acting weird all night, the only real 'symptom' he has is a runny nose, other than that he's just not being himself. Though I also tend to be very paranoid and overreact when it comes to my pets since they mean so much to me. So I don't know what to do, it's really stressing me out though :/
  23. That's so awesome! I didn't see either of them in theatres :( </poor me> I was pleasantly surprised by the second movie! I was a little worried that they'd mess it up but I enjoyed it! My favourite part about those movies is how everything they do is based on other movies. Like the brothers talk about stuff and one will say "Dude that only happens in movies" then they actually do it and it works out  Haha yes! You are so right. I think my favourite has to be when they are picking out their weapons in the first. "Charles Bronson's always got rope." And I agree about the second one too, they didn't ruin it, plus Connor and Murphy are still looking good after 10 years ;)
