You could just buy meat from Canifis, if you don't feel like killing cows.

Will the Release of Summoning Drop an Old p2p Skill Down?
Captain_Shiv replied to warshadow212's topic in General Discussion
We'll mossy on down to the Stronghold on F2p and see if anyone is there, I never see anyone their except maybe 2 people in the room with the Ankou. Well I will admit that the three mini-games are compensation for the wilderness they had but the Revenants are weak and easy to avoid, if one attacks you run stupid and if they freeze you wait heal and run when it wears off. And you have to admit that the Grand Exchange is a far cry from the times when thousands of people all stood in Varrock on world one and spammed what they where trading. Once again another bone. There is truth to what you say, and I'm not disagreeing. All that I'm saying is that F2P's not completely undeserving of an update. Not a Members' skill necessarily, but possibly an update to one of their current skills. Like Crafting, or the ability to RC Chaos runes. -

Well Jagex already threw F2p a bone and a nice juicy bone at that compared to what they got last year. Only thing I can think of they got last year that was kinda simi big was the Stronghold Of Security but that place is a forgotten thought now, but this year they get Duel Arena, Bounty Hunter, Clan wars, the Grand Exchange. They get 3 mini games and the exchange, which is why I don't see Jagex throwing them anymore bones any time soon. Stronghold of Security isn't a forgotten thought at all, for F2P it offers some of the best combat training options. And you really can't say that the Duel Arena, Bounty hunter, and Clan wars were a gift at all; seeing as how they essentially got those as a pitiful compensation for the wilderness that they had. Especially now, go ahead and try to go into Wildy on F2P, the Revenants own you even more so than on P2P. Really, the only good thing F2P has gotten is the Grand Exchange, which I'll go ahead and admit is nice but it's really not THAT major of an upgrade, seeing as how F2P never seemed to have any trouble selling to P2P members anyway. So there goes your theory of Jagex throwing F2P another bone. -

Well, that's the end of THAT theory. -

Not to be a P2P elitist, but I doubt Freeplay will get any new skill. Honestly, they don't need anything more than what they have already. I could see them getting minor upgrades to their current skills, though. Such as Crafting of Green Dhide armor and possibly Crafting Chaos/Cosmic runes. But that'd really be the extent of what I could see happening. -
Is training combat with controlled a "bad" idea?
Captain_Shiv replied to Captain_Shiv's topic in Help and Advice
I thought with HP it was for every 1 Damage, you get 1.5 HP experience... Which explains why my HP's always higher than my other stats when training evenly. But yeah, I think I'll stick to controlled for now. It's been working out well for me as of yet. :P -
Hi, I'm very adamant about training my combat evenly, and like to keep my Strength, attack, and defense stats equal. (Currently am 82, 82, 82.) So naturally, when I got my Abyssal Whip I thought it'd be a good idea to just train on everything using controlled. I've heard people say that I get less XP for this, and am therefore gimping my Xp per hour. Is this true?

Any way to play RS in a bigger resolution?
Captain_Shiv replied to Captain_Shiv's topic in General Discussion
I don't want the game to be smaller, I want my resolution to be set to Windows Vista's default, because it's the one that's most comfortable for me to look at. I don't want to set it to 800x600 because it makes everything look blurry and large. -

Yeah, actually I forgot to mention that I'm using FireFox. Is there anyway to change the display settings of RS that I don't know about? :U -
This may be in the wrong forum, so forgive me if it is but: Is there any way to play RS in a bigger resolution without changing my desktop's appearance settings? I really hate having to squint to read anything, but don't want to have to change my resolution every time I want to play RS. Anyone have any info on this? I play on windows vista, on 1280x1024 Resolution if it matters.

There's nothing wrong with PKing, or staking. Those take skill. Sitting around in World 2 typing however, does not. :shame: Other than that I agree with you completely.
