Well, I've played castle wars a lot and for me it is a lot of fun, good xp and the armor is fun to wear should you get enough tickets. However, Castle Wars (as we all know) does have some weaknesses. The first matter that comes to my attention is Balance. Since there is only one game that is open to all levels, balance quickly becomes an issue. In theory you could have one team with all 80+ combat and the other team with 50- combat and well, that wouldn't work out to well. However to correct this problem there would be some kind of a filtering system and personally I thnk that would take a lot of work and it would ruin it for clan vs. clan flag war games. Next, is probally the largest issue faced is flag guarding/stealing. Personally, I believe that stealing your teams flag and then defending it is all part of the strategy of castle wars, however, there is a limit to everything. We've probally all experienced watching some lower level die with the other teams flag and having an opponent take it and then run off with it. In pursuit you die and track them down a few minutes later only to find them barricaded between some rocks with a massive team of very high combats defending them. This is basically what I like to call an "Impossible Solution", meaning unless you get very lucky, there is no way to take your enemies flag. However, I personally believe that it is ok to steal your teams flag and just hide in a remote location on the map, what's wrong with hiding? Should the enemy team always know where both flags are? So what I would purpose for flag guarding is as follows: - If team A captures team A's flag, wait 3* minutes then reset flag. *Pending amount of time. The other part of castle wars I think deserves better attention is the catapult. The catapult dosen't really serve much use other then an occasional lucky shot on hitting the enemy or accidently smacking an ally. I suggest several improvements for catapults: - Give catapults full range of the map Reason: It would make the game more interesting and you could bombard the enemy castle and knock out their catapult. -Input coordinates into catapult Reason: As most people know it takes forever to adjust the coordinates onto the catapult and by the time you get it to where you want it to be, the target is probally gone. However, I'm not saying that you could instanly target the place you want to shoot at, and then instanly shoot at it. It would still take awhile to adjust to the target, but not as long as it does now. I might add some more improvements later on. Feedback?
