I've heard of mahatma and elvemage lots of times, so it would seem they are the most famous :D Although I think I like mahatma better, just the way elvemage pk's...

Lets see, well back in 8th grade when we read a midsummer night's dream, I had to read the part of "Lysander" a lot. I grew to get used to the name. I also used to play Diablo 2, which has a character named "Lysander" in it. This name sort of caught on to me before I started playing 'Scape. The first account I ever had was named "Fhqwhgads_27" based on something from a website called homestarrunner.com. The number "27" was my homeroom number in school at the time. Then that account got banned. "Fhqwhgads_28" came next. That one got banned too. So, I thought of what a good name would be. I tried "Lysander_28", that was taken. When I first started playing D2, my friend told me to put an x in front of my name if it was taken, because not many people did that. So I decided to forge this name I still have today, "Xlysander_28".

No clue if anyone's said this, but... You're walking around the wild pking, some guy attacks you and gets your hp pretty low. You somehow manage to snarf down 3 sharks, each of which are as big as you...? Not really a useless fact but wierd o.O There's a king of varrock, king roald... where's the king of lumby? Also, I've gotten a slayer task to kill skeletons... I went and killed some... no slayer exp. apparently there are like 10 types of skeletons, how do we know which ones to slay? Snakes on Karamja drop bones if you kill them... since when do snakes have bones?

Hmm, I remember a while back, when I was lvl 80 or so, and i was at fally west bank, then a lvl 66 says the "spending (however much money, i think it was like 2,378k or some random number)" thing, then he trades me, offers the cash and some random green d hide stuff, I offer him some stuff (can't remember what). Then he declines, and asks me to throw in the D med I'm wearing. I do, and trade again, same amount of cash, all seems normal. "throw in yer obby shield too m8" says the scammer. So I do, and when he offers the cash, he offers 2,3784 gold instead with the other items. This is a little trickier to avoid, although I didn't fall for it, but it's trickier because the scammer doesn't actually take back any cash, they just offer a heap of gold the last time and you assume that it's the same thing, unless you're smart and you check every time :-k So yeah, I just sit there, eventually he (actually might've been a female character, idk) declines and starts running, I had run on at 100%, so I start chasing after him yelling "RUN SCAMMER NOOB RUN!!!!!!!!!!!" :XD: and while I'm chasing the scammer there are some of those people that just hang around that Saradomin statue, they saw it, I can imagine it would be pretty funny seeing me chasing someone like that :thumbsup:

Also, I suggest you move the date of the event to later in the month, so we can get more people to sign up :-k

And I'd say its ok to say that 300 or so people went to the TET event? 1 chance in 300 of winning :D So yeah, you own me when it comes to getting good items/good cash value, but you know what, I own you when it comes to chances :P EDIT: 300 dry streaks?! Are you serious? 300 trips, and not a single barrows item?!? I can feel their hatred pulsing onto me already :wall: :XD:

Ok, so first off I attend the T.E.T. event for the day, with my costume, and I happen to win :D the prize is 300k, so yeah there's 300k (haven't gotten it quite yet but it's coming, btw thx saskia :thumbsup: ). Then I go to my clan's cw event, which is shortly after the T.E.T. event, and my clan defends the Zamorak wall, (we have mages/rangers/meleers); anyhow yeah some noob takes our flag and runs in clear view of me, I snare 'em and my clan and some other guy takes him down, a lvl 113 on our team who's not in the clan gets it, and we win the game After that, I decide to finish off barrows. Lvl 81 combat, using regular magic, not ancients or lunar or w/e. I kill Verac, now I decided to skip dh because he's REALLY HARD :shock: So I kill Guthan in the tunnels, collect from the chest, and tele to Varrock. When I look at what I got, I saw: 2k Ahrim's Robetop And something else I don't remember from what I hear, when you skip a brother, the chances of getting a barrows item is 1 in 181 or something like that... So i sold it for 700k. 700k+300k = 1,000k = 1 mil = omg sweet :XD: That's what I call the luck of the Irish, even though I'm only one fourth :P

I've had many encounters with p2p scammers, when they offer you a few mil so it looks like this: 2761k then they take away some so it goes to: 27614 (apparently 4 is the closest looking to k) The other day, I was in the western falador bank, and this person checked out my b sale, offered me some random amount of cash (let's just go with 2158k) and green d hide legs (idk what the point of that was) I accepted, the second screen came up and the person didn't take any away. The person then declined and asked me to thrown in my dragon med. I put it in the trade screen too, all this time I knew it was going to be a scam but I wanted to see what would happen. The person didn't take any cash away AGAIN, but declined. Then the person asked me to add in my obby shield, too. Then when I traded again, I added in the shield and the person offered me 21,584 gp instead. It was so obvious :lol: but even better, I sit on the second screen until the scammer declines, then I say "You'll have to try harder if you want my stuff, noob!" :XD: then the scammer runs to the eastern falador bank, meanwhile I'm chasing the scammer saying "RUN SCAMMER NOOB RUN!!" :XD: :lol:

for the first day, and also the first month or so, all I did was go to the southeast varrock mine, mine tin/bronze, walk to the furnace in lumby, and walk all the way to varrock again to use the bars on the anvils. I did this over and over and over, then when I came across a newcomer map, I looked at it and wondered what falador looked like :lol: Edit: and now I'm 81 cmb, 65 mining and 56 smithing :D

One thing that I can remember is how I met someone who is now my ex-girlfriend... One day I was biking through my town's plaza, like where a bunch of stores are and such. I saw my friend who was hanging out with some girl I didn't know, (they weren't together they were just friends) and suddenly the girl pointed at my shoes, I looked at her shoes and it turned out that we had the same exact pair of converse all-stars on. She later IM'ed me and we started talking... about a month later we were together, and that relationship really changed me. What if I didn't go and buy that pair of shoes on that day? what if I went a day later and they didn't have those shoes in stock? What if some other company bought out that store before I bought my shoes there, and what if that new company didn't sell those shoes, or didn't sell shoes whatsoever? You can go on and on about this. And this other thing relates to what the person way above me put, about the "educational benefits": My friend (the same guy who was hanging out with that girl) had a science test about a month ago or so, and I'm not too sure what it was about, but one of the questions were: "How is bronze made?" He thought about it and remembered that in runescape, you need tin ore and copper ore to make a bar of bronze. He wasn't sure if that was an actual fact in real life, but he put it down anyways. When the class got back their papers, he was the only one who got that question about the bronze right, out of 20 or so kids, not to mention he got a 100 on it \ He wouldn't have known this if it weren't for runescape.

n00bs who ask to be your friend right after you buy something from them or for some other dumb reason. I guess there's not much of a problem with that except when it fills up your list, then you can't pm someone who's selling something good for cheap, and by the time you delete someone and add them... "Player is busy at the moment" :evil:

hmm, today a n00b tried to buy my r2h for 30k xD and one time in my old clan my best friend and a high lvl both came over to where I was (they were both in clan). My best friend didn't know yet that the high level was a member of the clan, so the high level asks my best friend a question, and he responds with: "yea assface" jagex didn't block it at the time :lol: then months later me and my best friend are training our range in the Karamja volcano dungeon and the high level happens to be there. My best friend says, "hey xly, remember? *******" Jagex had blocked it in those past months!! "oops I guess they blocked it" he says "assnowface, remember?" and the guy he had said that to months before was right next to us. lolz. and ONE more funny story: This guy says "buying rune pl8 100k" I figured it was a scam but gave it a shot anyhow. so I send him trade offer, I put up platebody he puts up 100k. Now, instead of taking away 90k to make it say "10k", which would be hard to see unless you were really paying attention to detail (that's one of the most common scams), the guy takes away all 100k and accepts. I decline and say, "Wow ur a n00b at scamming buddy" :XD:

I saw a lvl 48 get pwn3d by an exploding rock... lol he must have been off of the mouse, I got his addy pick :)
