Iv allways let the bathroom window open for airing, if we have been home or not (The window is very small), untill I was playing late on runescape and caught a weird sound from the bathroom. I got up and looked inside and was staring straight into a burglars face! He was half way through the window and I think he got as scared as me. He probably though we were all sleeping (it was 4 am ). I ran to wake my husband, but by the time he woke up and was on his way out the door, the burglar already long gone. Turned out he was well known by the police, and done these kind of burglarys before (climbing in sleeping peoples windows). The police officer told me it was lucky I was awake, since this guy was a drug addict and desperate for money. Who knows what could have happened if I had been asleep when he broke in to our house? I have a 15 year old daughter that have her room opposite the bathroom :? We installed a heavy lock on all windows and doors after that....

I only use Opera :) :shock: Thank you! Another nifty feature :D I also like it when you can highlight a word or a sentence and press V and the computer 'speak'. My first language isnt english, so its a great way to hear how a certain word is pronounced. I think FF have that feature as well. The only weird thing is though, norwegians is behind Opera but I cant highlight words and translate from english to norwegian or the other way around :?

You can use tinderbox on your logs in your inventory - you dont have to drop them first. -
Sluggy I will highly recomend using staff's when walking! Heres a picture of one using it; This to ease up on the strain on your joints in hips and knees. The staffs also makes you use your arms more which again opens up your chest and strengthening your muscles there. The price of those staffs varies: http://www.rei.com/category/4500558.htm But in your case I would reckon you can send in an application to the National Health Insurance Office and im sure they will consent you a pair. Use the wording "for medical purpose" and get your doctor to write them a letter to verify your need. If your stuck, know its perfectly normal. You will be stuck, maybe for several weeks/months - its now your body is building muscles! Your fat turns into muscles and thats why you think your 'stuck'. But there are ways to increase your metabolism. Train in intervals: speed walk for at least 2 - 4 minutes (or what you feel you can handle). That means walk as fast as you manage for a set period of minutes. Then slow down to a normal pace for 4 minutes then repeat. Its recomended to do this at least every second day or every day if you have the health. It is very important to warm up first though. Start by walking in normal pace for 5 minutes, then bend and stretch a litle while, softening up those joints :) Many thinks jogging its the best training, but I can tell you its equally efficient to speed walk :wink: If your overweight you should be careful jogging by the way! You can seriously harm your joints. Speed walking in intervals will help you gain a better condition and increase your metabolism and finally loose weight :D That form of excersise is free (except from the walking staffs) and healthy.

I googled and found this site; http://www.caloriecontrol.org/ Not sure how serious they are though, since I never used a calorie calculator. All I can advice you is to eat sensible. You are suppose to be full! Never leave the table still hungry. Thats your metabolism speaking. Never eat til you burst either. If you drink 2 - 3 glasses of water to each meal you should be full in a good way. You can also calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) to get a estimate of your overweight. Please use with considerasion though. This is used only if you know you are overweight, and not if you are packed with muscles :wink:

I have removed a couple of the replys from this thread - since they were out of line and didnt give any advice whatsoever. The next guy or gal who suggest using drugs/kill animals or other illegal ways to loose weight(!) will have to answer to me. Please make sure you know what you are talking about before you give advice. If you have lost weight after a sensible diet and excersise; please let the threads author know what helped/motivated you. :)

Very nice! Keep that up and you will have a healthy and slender body :) Dont expect it to happen in a flash though - it took you some time to gain weight and it will take time to loose them as well. Just dont give up and feel dispirited because it dont happen 'tomorrow'. Yes, a cup of coffee or a cup of tea ( both contain caffein wich is good for you in small amounts ) a few minutes before the breakfast. Acctually, 2 - 3 cups of tea or coffee during the day at meal times is proven to be beneficial for the sentral nerv system and your metabolism. Good luck! :D

Dear god! This was not only a very bad advice but also a dangerous advice! :o If you follow this advice you will soon end up in a hospital - with a tube down your nose - hopefully not dieng. Ice, I pray to god you dont live like this? If so, please consult a doctor asap! :cry:

As a former teacher at a sports college I have these advices for you: Eat regularly; 5 to 8 times a day - while you excersise, this will increase your metabolism. Dont overdo the excersise either - its easy to be dispirited if you dont have the time or energy to keep up a to long excersise-plan. Its more important that you excersise regurarily ( 3 to 5 times a week) then to excersise in bulks. Just walking a few miles every day is a great way to loose weight, and then slowly increase as you build more and more condition and muscles and loose weight. If you have a flu or fever you must not excersise or strain your self in any way since you can seriously harm your heart. Eat lots and lots of green vegetables. Beans - nuts and lentils is way better then red meat since they contain the same amount of important proteins but without slowing down your digestion or metabolism (red meat stays in your digestion system for more then 72 hours). Poultry and fish is excellent meat sources. Instead of rice or potatoes eat salad with your meals. Instead of gravy use light sour cream ( to fish) or clear broth (to poultry). You will have urges for sugar (our body needs it) - so instead of banning all sweets, do allow your self a treat once in awhile. The best way to avoid a sweet hunger is to eat plenty of fruits :) Eat apples, oranges, grapes, kiwi fruit and berrys. Tea, coffee ( both tea and coffee triggers the metabolism if taken a few minutes before any meals in the morning)and water is better then juice and soft drinks. Never eat between meals - instead drink a lunk warm glass of water if you get hungry :) Decide on a "eat schedule"! If you eat 6 times a day be sure to eat at the same hours every day. That will help your metabolism and digestion. You will also loose weight much faster. Keep the meals small though. Its essential to eat frequent and small meals. Never eat only 2 - 3 huge meals a day, this will slow your metabolism and prevent you from loosing weight! Last but not least; Consult your doctor/health nurse at school before any major training schedules or diets. Good luck! :D

I will have to give a comment on this: I went from 50ish smith to 90 smith in a few weeks. Its not hard at all. Just have more money then wits and you can buy all the ores/bars you need to level quick. :P -
