  1. I used to think that when my rc was in the low 60s (and super energies cost 3x as much and there was no GE). Then I tried them. Don't knock it until you've tried it. Well I AM about to make a bunch to train herblore... I was going to sell them but since I got everything myself I suppose it couldn't hurt to try them. :-k
  2. I don't use any energy potions at all. I walk from edgeville bank to the ditch, run to the zammy mage, run through the abyss, walk to the nature rift, then glory tele and repeat. I think energy potions would be more trouble than they're worth, frankly...
  3. You can autocast curse?! Lol no. I didn't think so...
  4. You can autocast curse?!
  5. The monkeys on top of the pillars in the town do NOT send you to jail when they shoot you. They can be meleed and you do not need to telegrab the bones. You can take them off the pillars. Bones from these monkeys will make a small ninja gree gree. To make a large ninja gree gree, you need to go to the U shaped warehouse, stand in the middle, and unweild your gree gree. This will summon the large ninja monkey guard. If he hits you, he WILL send you to jail. Once he appears he will approach you. At this point, put your gree gree back on (and run into the warehouse to hide behind the crates if the archers attack you). Karam (the gnome assassin) will protect you by killing the large ninja monkey. Take the bones it drops to make the large ninja gree gree.
  6. Personally I suggest ranging black dragons in the evil chicken lair. I did that for a while. I buried the bones and banked the hides. I made a lot of money from the hides and also got a few decent rewards from clue scrolls along the way. I brought 2 range potions (4) and potted once every 2 drags. I used a rune crossbow with emerald (e) bolts.
  7. I voted for the Present because I figured there was a reasonable chance that the present would be opened to reveal actual RS items, like runes, arrows, coins, etc... kinda like the reward from the Maze random event, but way better. I only hope Jagex doesn't make every player's present the same, like the way they make every player's customer service responses the same. That'd be bad. As for the Santa suit, I would bet a large amount of money (if the trade limit would let me) that the Santa suit won't have a hat, but would look awful with Santa hats. Just look at the Grim Reaper hood. It would have been so easy just to make it match priest robes or black wizard robes. But no, Jagex had to shock all of Runescape by managing to make a hood that actually succeeded in matching nothing else. The pet reindeer would be nothing like anyone expected. I assume it'll be something ridiculous like the toy horsey. It'd be an item in your inventory and you can click on it to bring it out for a few seconds, have it do some prancing around, then it would go back in your inventory.
  8. I personally think that Jagex will put a fairy ring on Tutorial Island, just like they did with the Fisher King Realm. It'd be another place in RS that's only accessible by fairy ring. And a pretty peaceful place at that.
  9. I've been doing the Gnome Delivery minigame a lot recently. Occasionally I get a gnome ball as a reward. Pretty lame... But I make the best of a bad reward by tossing it to some random guy then running away. I confuse a lot of people. Sometimes when they have a weapon, I trick them into unwielding the weapon so I can throw it to them, as I did in this instance: After the last line I turned my chat off... EDIT: The next day when I logged on, he continued the conversation. P.S. What is a GM? I really don't know... :-#
  10. Well its a bad update... once an imp goes near you there's not much you can do to stop it from stealing from you! And I really doubt that they are supposed to steal that fast. All those attempts in the chatbox happened less than a second apart. He just tried over and over until he got one of my imps, then just started again...
  11. The past few days I have been catching nature and eclectic implings in Puro Puro, and that continued this morning. Until the system update, that is. After RS was updated, I logged in and I my chat box was flooded with this: The imp guard stole over and over again, only stopping when he successfully freed one of my imps! And even then he only stopped a little bit before starting again! I ran frantically to the exit of Puro Puro, being stolen from as I was running by any imp guards I passed. All in all I lost 4 implings in under a minute. Before this update, I was NEVER stolen from, not once. And as you can see in the chat box, I had the imp repellent on me. EDIT: After I logged out and posted this thread, I logged back on, banked my implings, and went back to see if the imp guards were still doing it. I caught a few low level imps, then waited as the guards passed by me without doing a thing. It must have been a one-time glitch I suppose. But wait! After I went around and started catching more, they started stealing from me over and over again! I waited around and it turns out that the glitch only occurs when you're carrying FOUR OR MORE implings. The imps steal from you until you only have 3 left, then leave you alone until you catch more. Yes, I have sent a bug report! Don't go into Puro Puro with valuable implings, and if you're already there teleport immediately after you log on!
  12. I think junk trading is an enormous problem that's just starting to grow. Lets say someone wants to buy a top hat. Lets pretend it costs 1m in the GE, but players are selling it on the forums for 11m, 1m for the hat plus 10m worth of junk. Any player who buys a top hat on the forum comes out with a hat and 10m worth of junk. 10m is a lot, if only there was some way they could get it! Lets fast forward a year or so if Jagex does nothing about junk trading. Players all over the place have millions worth of junk in their banks just sitting around, collecting dust. So now an industrious RWT site starts buying people's junk at market price in exchange for real world cash. Its the RWT mess all over again.
  13. This may seem insignificant, but it goes to show 1 person's laziness. Sworddude198 actually didn't read the homepage? What the hell? What possible reason could reading before ranting actually make? This may seem insignificant, but it goes to show 1 person's spitefulness. Teeg actually copied what Sworddude said but changed it to be insulting? What the hell? What could "what possible reason could reading before ranting actually make" possibly mean?
  14. I surely do! I couldn't imagine hunting the rarer implings without them! : So there's really no way I can make hunting them faster? Because that's what I was really hoping to learn... ;) P.S. I haven't been on in a while... what's up with the smileys? Are they balloons now? 8-) .( ..)
  15. I'm not sure that would work. From my experience in Puro Puro once you see an imp you want you have to react fast, otherwise you'll loose sight of it fast. I'm sure you can't start running in the middle of an alch, so you would have to wait for the animation to finish, and by that time it'd be over a wall of wheat and you'd never catch up to it.
  16. So basically Puro Puro is the fastest way, but I should carry a net around when I'm not there just in case I see any good implings? That wasn't the answer I wanted to hear
  17. Right now I'm trying to hunt nature implings in Puro Puro, its fun but also pretty slow. I've heard that implings spawn outside Puro Puro in certain locations, and I'd like to try that, but I'm not really sure what happens. If I just stand around at one of the respawn points, will an impling just appear? And what if no one catches the impling that previously appeared in that spot? Would I have to hunt it down and catch it before any additional implings will spawn there? Also, what if I were to stay in Puro Puro? Do nature implings respawn in certain spots? I've checked all over the place and can't find a map of Puro Puro respawn points, but I vaguely remember Tip.it having a map a while ago. I might just be going crazy. In any case, I'd appreciate any answers I could get.
  18. Its probably either a [bleep]e shield or a berserker shield from the Fist of Guthix Minigame. http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=fist_of_guthix.htm#rewards
  19. As much as I think the customer service stinks, I have recently had a good experience with it. One evening I was joking around with someone who didn't have a sense of humor. They reported me, and the evidence was bogus. Nevertheless, when I logged in the next morning I found that I was muted for 3 days. :wall: This shocked me. A lot. Because the report against my account was processed so quickly. I had been muted before, permanently. When I looked in my offense history I found 9 reports had been added to my account on the same day, the most recent report was from about 6 months prior, and the oldest was from over TWO YEARS BEFORE. It was ridiculous. About 9 months later I was suddenly un-muted with no explanation. Anyways, I appealed my new 3-day mute and carried on playing. My appeal was accepted and I was un-muted a few hours later. My friend and I couldn't believe how quickly this all had been carried out, especially since our previous attempts at contacting Jagex had gone unanswered for months, and when they were answered it was a useless form-letter response which urged us to "use the Knowledge Base for faster answers to your questions".
  20. But.... but that's against the rules!!! :ohnoes:  Now how would I go about doing that?
  21. There's a vast difference between intelligence and typos. Typos are mistakes you make when you're not paying attention, it is not an inability to write correctly. Similarly, somebody with flawless grammar is not automatically granted intelligence, insight, and knowledge. Way to show him up  But I don't think he'll be back. He probably bounces around from thread to thread like a game of Plinko flaming needlessly then leaving.
  22. I have updated the first post to contain screenshots of the exact error messages I get
  23. this is just about the worst idea ever. if you do that they'll more likely ban you for intentionally misusing customer support. yeah honestly just wait for the mute to end. I've done this several times, and I've gotten actual replies, never has any offense been added to my account for its use.
  24. Yes I have, and no such updates are avaliable. My issue is not with lag, as I do not lag at all with the RS Client. My problem is that every time I open it I get a bunch of Internet Explorer Script Error windows. They are irritating and I want to destroy them!
  25. I usually use Firefox for all my RS needs, but now that RS HD is out (which I simply must play!), and since RS HD has lag issues when played on Firefox, I use the RS Windows Client, which opens up in Internet Explorer. When I open the page, I am bombarded by 3-5 windows that say "Internet Explorer Script Error" like the ones below: These are 4 out of many different script errors I got while navigating the RS Client. I click yes for each window, then click "Play Runescape." At the Detail Select menu, I am bombarded with another 3-5 errors. This continues all the way to the actual game window. As you can imagine this is very irritating. I have tried disabling script debugging as show in the window below: "Disable Script Debugging" and "Display a notification about every script error" are both unchecked in my Internet Options Window. But the script errors keep coming. As near as I can tell, these script errors are coming from the banner ads that Jagex uses, which comes as no surprise to me. As for my technical specs... -Windows Vista Home Premium Edition -Dell Inspiron 1720 -2 GB RAM -Dual processor 1.86 Ghz -32 bit operating system -Internet Explorer 7 -CA Security Anti-Virus, Firewall, and Anti-Spyware I can't think of anything else that would be relevant. If anyone could help me solve this problem I'd be really grateful, those script errors annoy the heck out of me. :wall:
