  1. I've actually gotten 19 avantoes from 1 seed before.
  2. I just want to confirm that you CAN go from a quest/skill hall to dungeon stairs, I have done this in my own house. I would also recommend putting your altar and portals as close to the house entrance as possible. its very convenient! in addition, your house plan seems to be a bit random, as if it'd be hard to remember. You might want to consider re-designing it to make the shape more geometric. [hide=My house] [/hide]
  3. Lol, I know that we're talking about ftp here, but I just have to address this. Crossbows are WAY better than msb for training. Yea really bolts are way better! They hit so much higher than their arrow equivalents.
  4. The very best way requires Lunar Magics and 87 magic (or 84 with wizard mind bomb). I use the ectophial to get to the Morytania patch, then drink a wizard mind bomb (because I'm only 84 magic! :P ) and teleport to Catherby. I hit that patch, then bank and teleport to the fishing guild. Then I run east to the Ardougne patch, and use the explorer ring to get to the Falador patch.
  5. I really like training range on Fire Giants in the Waterfall Dungeon. They have low defense, there are plenty of hiding spots, they're great charm droppers, and their normal drops aren't half bad. Rune arrows, rune weapons fire battle staffs, and a TON of fire runes. Greaters do drop rune full helms, but their other drops are pretty junky. Fire Giants drop d meds, and even if you don't get that, you'll still make a lot of money from their other drops.
  6. ...What was that? You didn't like his rant. So you decided to post a sarcastic, arrogant one sentence reply that has no purpose beyond saying that you don't like his rant? Uh, gratz. How clever.
  7. I should clarify, its five tasks in a row before you start earning points. If you go to burthrope to get a new task, the counter resets.
  8. ya  like mystic and desert robes, among others I want a skirt version! Santa skirts for girls!!! I'd want that too if it went all the way to the ground like wizard robes!
  9. It maybe medium sized, but when you use its bones to make a talisman, it is a large ninja monkey that you turn into. I have done this and I assure you that it works.
  10. If people really bough junk, wouldn't things like maple long (u)s sell in the GE? One of my friends has had 13k of them at minimum price for nearly a month.
  11. If I remember right, the guard doesn't take the plague sample when you go through the gate.
  12. You won't get any hp xp, but a good way to get magic xp and money is to do the mage training arena and buy mage books with your pizazz points, then sell them to players. I believe you still make quite a bit of profit even if you buy all the runes you need.
  13. Do you know what happens if you try to do that? I've always been curious...
  14. Bandits Brew which you can buy at the bar in the Bandit Camp raises your thieving level by 1, you can also make the Brew by using the cooking skill, which has the chance of producing a Bandit's Brew (m) which raises your level by 2. Or you can also use Spicy Stew from the Evil Dave part of Recipe for Disaster. Shake 3 doses of yellow spice into a bowl of stew and eat it. It has a chance of raising your thieving level 1 level all the way to 6 levels! However, it can also lower it up to 6 levels, or even not affect thieving at all.
  15. I told him to try different camels it didnt work have you done all the camel related quests aswell i have, where as he has only done The Feud and Enahkras lament. Does he have a bucket in his inventory when he tries?
  16. I had this problem as well, turns out you must talk to Lalli, the troll who guards the golden wool, before talking to the kid.
  17. What green ones are you talking about? The green ones that I found all the way north by the fairy ring and the octopus fishing spot. The only thing north of those guys are the ocean ;)
  18. If I remember right, when I did DT, my stranger stopped following me and started following someone else after a while, I think its just improperly programmed.
  19. I randomly decided today that I wanted a pet Gecko, so I got box traps and started wandering around Karamja looking for geckos. I saw some adult geckos in 3 colors: blue, orange, and green. Then I found some orange baby geckos. I don't really like orange, and I was hoping to find a different color. Well after some more looking around, I found green baby geckos. That was better, but I would really like a blue gecko. Since I saw adult blue geckos I would assume there are blue baby geckos too, but I couldn't find any. Does anyone know if there are any? And if there is, where are they? Thanks! :
  20. Yeah, I just used melee an got bones, which goes back to my final question, bones = monkey corpse in quest, right, wrong? Yes, no? Yes the bones will work fine. Good luck with the rest of the quest! If you've started, but not finished, Tai Bwo Wannai Trio, Monkeys cannot be meleed and drop the corpse. If you haven't they can be meleed and drop only bones.
  21. It follows you when you have the diamonds because they're super-valuable and he wants to steal them from you.
  22. The question was answered but I did not and will not say this is spam because its not. If it were it would have been locked. If you have nothing constructive to add, then kindly refrain from spamming my thread.
  23. If I don't have the right to complain about wasting 35 gp on the inn, what right do you have to complain about wasting a few minutes to read my thread? And if its spam then why did you just bump it to the top of the forums? I asked a question and I got an answer, and that's what these forums are for, not for you to troll them looking for threads to call spam.
  24. The fix was invented a LONG time before they had ever pulled anything close to that. I suspect that they didn't yet have the technology to replace an instance of an item in every bank and inventory with cash at that point. This fix happened RIGHT at the dawn of RS2, and things were pretty different then. That explains why they didn't do it back then, but it doesn't explain why they don't do it now, then me and my 35 gp would still... still be together.... It just seems kinda dumb to be keeping a useless remnant from a long time ago like this, especially when you finally have the means to remove it seamlessly.
  25. Yea it is! And its it really from that long ago? You would think Jagex would have taken it out of the game by now, or at least stop charging players for it! They would have, but Paramaya tickets would have become discontinued then. They decided that the best option would be to leave the useless room there rather than make another disk of returning-like item. In fact, I remember way back in the days of early RS2, people would scam by claiming that the tickets were discontinued when they were, in fact, not. Jagex could do something like they did with axe heads (if I remember right, when they removed the random event they replaced axe heads with completed axes) and give all players who had the tickets 35 gp, or even 70 gp! That's double!
