i have 68 summon on my main, gilformen, and i was ranked around 17,000 when i got it. i used bunyips a lot when melee training, and i did a lot of gwd too. so yes, i know how to use summon. even though i know how useful it is, i still am not going to get it on my pure, if someone else wants it on theirs, im not stopping them. ive offered advice, and explained i dont really like it on pures, but i really dont have an issue with those that do.

im not a fan of getting summoning on a pure, i mean, the whole idea of being pure is to keep specific skills very low. also, if you are getting summon, be careful which creatures you use, as some give controlled xp (like terrorbirds) and some give defense xp. just so youre aware of that. Yes, the point it to keep your combat low but why would that matter if it's deducted while you PvP? i said specific skills, not combat. usually att/prayer are low, def is nonexistant, and i would add summoning as a skill to keep at 1. as i said, im not a rabid hater of summon, im just not a fan. and yes, you can stay technically pure while training summoning, i agree.

get 99 str before lvling prayer. training strength will be the hard part.

lol, if you have the stats i mentioned, it would be worth it to use melee. with vengeance or some ice barrages (94 magic)

that looks like a low-leveled main. if you want to pk, get 70 def/70-80 att/99 str. youre def is too high for a zerker or rune pure.

im assuming your f2p, 40 att and a bunch of 1 stats, so yeah, just keep training str/range, and get some mage lvls for teleporting, if your rele die hard get 85 for teleblock.

you cant humidify in trawler anymore. they changed that a while ago.

dscim, yes, you need to finish mm, but you dont need to talk to daero after, he will give att/str/def xp (which, as a pure, you dont want). also, it is possible to get addy rfd gloves with 1 def, i have them :thumbup: it involves getting all the gear you need for the rfd monkey subquest, and finding an evil tree on ape atoll and using the spirit tree teleport. once you finish the quest you also unlock the ape atoll teleport, which is nice if you want to go back and use the agility area. and if you havent trained prayer, do as many quests as you can that give prayer xp.

fire bolting blue dragons and selling hides & bones gives quite a profit, but its rather slow. i used to do that before 70 magic on my pure. if you know the right things to alch (often bows and dhide bodies) its usually minimal loss for the xp.

pictures help a lot. basically work on str, range, magic. obviously.

if a pure with 60 att, yes, monkey madness, for ancients, obviously DT, its also nice to do the parts of recipe for disaster for either mith or addy gloves, plus quests for whatever other gear you want like anchor or bear helm. bear helm is mountain daughter, anchor is ...great brain robbery i think. if your ranging, do animal magnetism for the accumulator. also, this should be in graveyard help & advice, since your asking about a pure.

...says the guy with unranked construction. basically, figure out whether you can simply make money fast enough that getting hammers will take longer. if hammers save time, theyre worth it, if you simply want to cut down on costs, sc hammers would still be a good idea.

Defense can stay put, thats fine. But 70 prayer might be worth the cb levels (piety is ftw, the knights room will be a pain though) and summoning doesn't affect your combat level in anywhere it matters. Don't you need 65 defence todo the quest that unlocks piety? yes you do. 70 prayer would be a waste. that build is perfect, just needs 99 hp.
