  1. So are you going to do it, little man?
  2. Nice to know someone reads. :D I'll probably do that in the next batch of three. Good concept.
  3. Another edit... Changed the highlights on the body a bit as well.
  4. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=170811&start=0 My brushing is better than your "brushing." I don't even ask for money. Tell you what. Since you can make ANYTHING I want and you're so good at it, make me a sig of a golden dragon flying above a forested valley. I want a light morning mist in it as well as some rays of sunlight. Also, make sure it fits into Tip.It's size requirements.
  5. OK... I hope you don't mind white, because that's the most effective colour to bring him out with.
  6. Some examples of your work would be nice.
  7. I'm all for this idea! I need to improve on my technique and learn how to do decent surface maps. GAH!
  8. This won't have much of a chance, but what the heck... Dragons aren't quite so good in 300x150...
  9. @Keiphus: I LOVE the background of the second drawing. No idea why.
  10. I blame all size discrepancies on my D&D-imposed image of elven height topping at 5'4". :P The eyes are actually sighting correctly; I think it's just too dark to make it out, and the angle of the head didn't really help, I guess. The bow was just me practising how to best portray a compound longbow, and it looks huge mainly because it's sized for a human. If it wasn't drawn, it'd actually be well over the poor elf's height. I got lazy when I reached the boots. :P
  11. The usual story... Got bored and drew. I quite like the results, myself. :) Constructive criticism is welcome, as always. :D
  12. Phew, that's a lot of detail to put into a 300x150 space. I'll consider it. :P
  13. *Beats Dyronamics over the head with a candelabra* QUIET, YOU!
  14. I post it up on the first post, along with the image URL. Saves me a lot of time, and leaves examples up there, to boot.
  15. I drew it on a small part of a random piece of paper, actually. My scanner enlarges the image by a LOT, so I have to resize it to 29% to get it back to its original dimensions.
  16. Here's a reference I drew some time ago that you could use for armour... It's just that I'd rather not see more of the same RS-referenced art around here... Nothing personal.
  17. Colour it with whatever's behind it, only a couple of shades lighter than it should be if the vial wasn't there. Add distortion if you want too. Also, change your current sig; it's 100 pixels too wide.

I'm trying to stay off RS at the moment; can't you just send a PM?
  19. That didn't come out too bad. The roof needs some work, though...
  20. Give the bow more of a curve, because it would be bending back with the bowstring pulled back like that. Think about how the string would sit when the bow isn't being drawn back. Shading-wise, there's room for improvement, but you'll have to ask a pixel artist about that. The concept is okay; at least you - unlike apparently 90-95% of RS sigmakers - understand that a right-handed person holds the bow in their left. You also seem to understand that a shortbow is, in fact, longer than a man's forearm. You may want to consider opening the left eye instead of the right; sighting with the latter at that angle is awkward. The torso could adopt more of a slight V-shape as human male torsos tend to. Also consider grasping the string on both sides of the arrowshaft instead of just under. Overall, it's fine for your second. Have you considered turning away from RS-referenced equipment?

I'm open to ideas, as long as they stay away from direct references to games and popular culture in genral. Whatcha got?
  22. Another two done. One more 'till I pick out the next three. Cross your fingers! :P
  23. Update... Neanderslave's and Elemental_'s sigs are done. After I finish with Lord_Maras's sig, I'll pick out only the most interesting ones to do. It'll be hell to try and draw all these.
  24. Heh. I figured "if they're in full plate armour, they're on the same side." I just didn't feel like filling a whole A4 page with corpses.
