You want to see a sig made without filters? I think that's pretty decent. Oh, and it's a style that HASN'T already been done to death on these boards. I agree with the others. Slapping a premade picture someone else made on canvas and adding some haphazard brushing doesn't really add up to talent.

About an hour and a half for the mage; and around 45 minutes for the katana.

I'm not one for pixel art, but I'm willing to judge. I'll throw in 81k as well.

If you want to use it as a sig, you might want to cut it down to 30kb. :)

I can sketch up something decent in less than 30 minutes... Either way, you'll want to remove it. Maximum sig size is 30kb.

Honestly? You just took a sprite from Ragnarok Online and edited it a bit. You can do better than that, I'm certain.

I was under the impression that it should be someone like Nadril or Loth at the top of that poll. It irks me that the sig which took the least effort or talent is being ranked above the others.

I decided to mess around with lighting combinations, and here's what I came up with. I think it looks pretty strange. Anyway, comments plx!

I'm not a big fan of pixel sigs, but I love the concept.

Minimalistic; 8/10. (I've got five sigs on rotation. Rate 'em all! :twisted: )

It's because of salinity. No grass can grow next to the waterline. There is almost always a sand or rock beach in between.

No offense, but I've never seen grass adjacent to seawater. Add a beach, whether sandy or rocky; it'll help. Also, either lengthen the pier or remove it. It's useless at that length.

Well, here's my try at it...

To be truthful, the hardest parts of shading it were the pile of treasure and the alar phalanges ("fingers" running down the wings). The former because I had no idea how to get it across that it was a pile of coins without having to define each individual piece; and the latter because the lines were too close together to make a 3px brush work efficiently. It was also a headache to tell which line defined what at a 350%+ zoom. :?

Even if he did make those models, people are still being ripped off. They're well over TIF's 30kb limit. If he resizes, they'll look worse than in the samples. Oh, and is it just me, or are the "sample" marks placed to obscure more critical details?

I'll give it a shot. It'll be a day or two, though.

That's the thing. You HAVEN'T proven their autenticity. I woudn't like it either to have my art flamed for the same reasons as yours, which is why I take pains to make it with my own hand. I've got the original sketches on paper in case anyone does doubt their authenticity, and there's my credibility to back it up. What's your excuse? If you do know that you aren't making those models yourself, do yourself a favour, start practising and stop lying to us and yourself. Oh, and all those sigs are vastly over the 30kb limit. I believe that I have already mentioned that on a previous thread. Considering how decreasing the file size normally decreases the quality...

You have a serious attitude problem. Your "work" isn't really anything to boast about, and you won't even accept criticism. Why won't you tell us what program you're using? You haven't proven anything, sir.
