Ok, this is my very first post in this forum, but I've read a few other posts and hope to write a decent piece. =About the Author My name is Jamie, and I live in England. I'm taking my GCSEs in a grammar school and I'm currently predicted, and attaining, an A* in English literature and language. My hobbys include Runescape, Call of duty on my Ps3 and chilling with friends. Please note, any spelling mistakes are probably typos, but if they are glaringly obvious, feel free to point them out. Constructive critisism is always invite and I am a writer who doesn't plan, its done my well so far so hopefully this can come together nicely as I make it up Prologue 'My name is Mygota and I live in the wilderness in Gielnor(?). Unaware to most, is a small hut, located to the far north, which I share with a few axes. I look up and see the murky clouds cover the sky, up there is the ball of helium and hydrogen you humans call the sun. I remember when I was a little ghoul, my dad left for battle. He went to battle the armies of Varrock, led by King Roald, and a brave adventurer called Biscit_Head, but was never heard from again. You humans drove us out of our home. Canifis and all the eastern provinces belong to the undead and us ghouls, but you humans took it, out of greed. You see the bloodthirsty vampires surrounding the area, and the ghouls that lurk suspiciously by the river, and you think yourselves victorious; well think again, you may have won the first battle, but by no means have you won the war.' Chapter 1 'Mygota!' screamed Eilinor, the attractive young ghoul mother, to her lazy good-for-nothing son. 'Mygota, get down here this instant.' His footsteps echoing down the stairwell, Mygota scrambled to the kitchen, where his eyes met his mother, wielding a kitchen knife. 'Yes mother?' He said as he shuffled uncomfortably, as if he knew what was coming. 'Don't "Yes mother" me! You know what you've done.' She shot him a glaring look as he attempted to hide his fits of laughter, 'This isn't a laughing matter Mygota! How many times have I told you not to lure the neighbours son out into the moonlight, you know what their kind are like!' 'I'- I'm sorry mum, I just couldn't resist! You should've seen his face when it happened, and then the sound: "AAAOOOO!"' 'Well its no me you need to apologize to, is it?' her tone lowered to a hush, 'But I must admit, those werewolves are rather dumb, what good are they for Canifis anyway?' The door slammed as the pair rotated to see a grand ghoul engulf the doorway. He strode into the room like only a lion would know whilst strutting around the jungle. He sat down expectantly, and almost like clockwork his fresh rat meat was on his plate in front of him. He eyed it with a look of disgust: 'Rat meat?' he questioned, 'I work all day, I provide for this family, and all I ask in return is for my son to catch dinner, and the best you could do was a rat?' 'But Luxior, honey-' Eilinor began, but before she could continue, Mygota butted in. 'But Dad, there was nothing else, the werewolves got all the bear meat and the vampires stole all the bat bones for themselves, I was lucky to get what I did!' Luxior looked up at the pair of them, then down at his food, and his facial expression didn't change; he was as disgusted by his family, as he was by his feeble meal. He slammed his fists onto the table and looked out the window. His eyes were met by Rufus' who was lurking in the city centre like usual, looking for any new sucke- customers. Silence engulfed the room until finally, Luxior broke it with another rant. 'I work my socks off killing six dead guys and banishing them from our land. I'm a local hero and this is what I get. If I were to slack off, If I were to let Karil run loose with his crossbow, would it be alright, as long as I tried?' He glared at Mygota. 'NO! incompetance is never acceptable, I thought I'd raised my child knowing this! Now get out of my sight, both of you!' They scurried out, like rats escaping from a vicious house cat, and didn't stop running until they'd reached the security of their own rooms, they whispered 'goodnight' as they blew out their candles and tried with all their might, to escape the real world, and enter the paradise of their dreams. Luxior devoured the rat meat like a beast, before downing his asgarnian ale. He looked around and saw what his life was; a modest two bedroom house in Canifis, the undead capital. He saw the mighty helmet of Dharok, whom he had slayed many-a-time, but refused to sell, despite the best interests of his family. He was a local hero and had a loving family, but he wanted more, he wanted worldwide fame. His brown eyes darted to the window yet again, where he saw Marticle, mayor of Canifis post a sign on the wall of the local pub. Intruiged, Luxior went to investigate, and his eyes lit up as he read what he had been waiting for. Excitement flooded his entire body as he knew this was his chance, this was his chance to escape his life of luxury, only to make it better. The moonlight shone upon the poster like a torch aimed directly at it, the rest of the world didn't matter at this moment in time. It was all about Luxior. He finally moved away to reveal what the others had been waiting for: 'Fighters Wanted. The humans of the west are planning an attack on our lands! Vampires, Ghouls, Werewolves and Ghosts must unite to drive these foul creatures from our cities. Fame, fortune and immortality awaits those who take up this challenge. *End of Chapter 1, taking a break, will write more later, comments so far?*

WHERES THE RUBBER CHICKEN o.O or did i miss it? Nice last tab, but its kinda bad 'cos it shows how long you've been playing and only accomplished that. Get the bottom row up and you'll get 1600 total in no time I like your combat stats and a decent slayer level, mining is good aswell :)

Would you really ask some body for a fight without specs? What would be the point in bringing a spec weapon if you can't use it, similar to a shield, when people ask me to remove it i say no, im risking it so i'll wear it

To me this seems like an invitation to go and use all the power and forces i have at my will. There are many things that 'pro honor-pkers' would say aren't honorable, such as: Safing, Teleporting, Farcasting, Pjing, Running (From Dms or just running), Praying and theres a few more I assume. I left out 26king because it would be too much effort to go into it. Safing. For those who don't know, safing is when you eat a piece of food (take a sip of brew) when you have reasonably high hp. Scenario: I'm fighting a guy with a high strength and im 1 iteming like the complete noob i am. Obviously i don't want to die so I AM GOING TO EAT WHEN I FEEL LIKE EATING some would say it doesn't benefit you in the long run, but idc, as long as i dont get KOED, which for me is BAD Teleporting. Pretty self explanitary Scenario: I've gone deeper for a bit more fun, a group of mages start attacking me, do I want to get owned? NO, SO I TELE + LIVE. Jagex put teleport restrictions in to stop me, but thats why i rarely venture past level 20 wilderness Farcasting. When you mage, often with freeze spells, from far away so they cannot damage you. Scenario: I've just completed Desert Treasure and I'm ecstatic! I can now use these holy spells which will drastically help me in the art of Pking! I see a guy skulled in full bandos and a partyhat. 'Wow, thats a lot of risk' so I attack him in the hopes of getting a good drop and make it easy on myself by not letting him hit me back. Pjing. When you attack somebody just after they've finished a fight and often have low hp. Often done with special attacks. Scenario: I've spent 50m? on my new D Claws, I've heard the spec on them is awesome, and im skulled. I'm risking alot so I want some good drops, 2 guys have just finished slugging it out and one of them gets the KO whilst on mid-low hp. I see my oppurtunity and pounce. I get a nice drop and get called a few names. An easy kill. Running. Self explanatory. Scenario: I'm getting killed bad, so i decide against wasting my food, and leg it while i have a chance. Unfortuneately the guy said it was a DM (Deathmatch) so for some reason its against the rules for me to run. I do it anyway. Praying. Using protection paryers to give myself an advantage. Scenario: I'm in F2P getting hit like made, I've saved up all my cash and bought 43 prayer the week before. The guy opposite me is clearly using superhuman strength as he hits his constant 20+s so i think, this is my time! I flick on my prayer and suddenly his hits are less frequent, and I come out victorious. Those are some of the main 'non honorable pking' methods that I myself, use frequently. It gives me an advantage which I have earned. Why would i get 43 prayer if i'm not going to use it? Why would i let myself die in a dm when i could easily click a teletab and survive? Finally I would like to say, for those who oppose me. There is a nice building near Al Kharid. It is called the duel arena. This is where you can fight people on whatever terms you want. You don't want them to run? well make it so they can't run. THE WILDERNESS HAS NO RULES and its not up to other people to make them. [/rant] i've been pking since 01... and believe it or not, pking back then at least had something to do about respect. If you had to "save up" for 43 prayer, then you really only show yourself as the noob that you are. You picked the perfect forums to rant about pking... because this forum has put true pkers to the wayside, it's become cool to hate on pures and pkers... I don't know when or how that changed... but on the old forums the graveyard section had the most posts on it by far. Congrats you joined the "hate on pkers band wagon". Second I never said that i hate pkers lol, far from it, i respect their guts and the fact they risk probably my entire bank worth in one trip, I said i hate people who think honor pking exists Please read the thread instead of just quoting it and posting random stuff which has no relevance. THere has been 1 decent reply to this thread which i respected becase he obviouisly read the thread and put thought into his answer. Honor pking exists moron. I have 2 pk vids to prove that. Basically I'm on about when doing a skill, usually a gathering skill such as fishing/ mining etc, and you realise your not getting anything, or its taking really long, will you click the same/ different spot ? I personally always do, although it probably makes it worse for myself

Its not a stupid thread if its in the rants forum? It would be stupid posting it in general discussion, where there is a thread which is pretty much opposite to this, so not everybody already knows/agrees. STFU KTXBAI

I don't get the 'don't melee pray or you kill an honor fight' bit? and i guess we have conflicting opinions because to me the wilderness has no rules and one can fight as they please
