I, for one, am not unhappy that pker's have to use the bounty hunter system. Planning for the necessary trips to wildy was an exercise in frustration, although I understood the wildy rules. I was around when the whole of RSC was open to pkers. That was very frustrating for this then newbie, I'd get something good, like a mith suit, and some high level would kill me for it. Not fun. Not at all fun. I almost quit.

With real world gold farmers gone, prices should go up again. I think we're starting to see it with yews.

My first day on RS I got challenged to several duels in Lumby and died each time. Some high level smith took pity on me and gave me a full mith that I couldn't wear.

After you have finished the quest, the third bridge north and east of Neitznot is repaired and you have access to the one rune rock.

I played RS Classic before RS2 (Current version) came out in '02. And I'm not one of the first 2000 by a long stretch. Although I was on-line when we hit 10,000 players :-)

I expect to attend as well with my 62 crafting level. Sounds like fun.

In the wall safe section the rewards are uncut gems as noted, but the coins range from 10 to 40. Using a stethoscope on the wall safe seems to reduce the damage taken from traps. [pokemama 12/17: an exhaustive study by Admin Ard_Choille (I'm talking *hundreds* of attempts) confirmed that having a stethoscope in your inventory increases your success, but "Using" it on the safe actually decreases successes. I hope this is already reflected in the guide? Thanks for wanting to help.
