  1. Are you suggesting melting snow and ice releases CO2? If so, youv'e been fed misinformation. Sorry if I misinterpreted you though. Yeah, there's a lot of CO2 that gets stored under snow. By the way, I get this information from the book called The Greenhouse Effect: Life on a warmer planet
  2. Yeah, let me say something Humans < EARTH The earth is big. There is a lot of snow. There was recently a snowfall on my town. The snow has melted like snow naturally does. Do you have any idea how much carbon dioxide it releases into the air? That's about how much smoke my town produces in a few days. Now let's take it from my town on a larger scale. During the summer, the tippity top of the arctic melts, releasing billions tons of carbon dioxide. fortunately, for our little blades of grass, we don't really have anything to worry about, until global warmin 'happens'. Like some other guy said in this thread, there are trillions of blades of grasses, and they all need carbon dioxide. There is also a lot of trees.
  3. Do what I do. Let your procrastination do it's work. I do it on the last day before it's due. I get it done, and I get a grade. Thats how I let my procrastination work. Remember, it'll only work if you let it work.
  4. Hmmm. Good. Then we have over a million people ranting about how f2p doesn't have more access to other parts of forum, and a million people ranting about how f2p should have more. Then we have another million suggesting armour like dragon for f2p, free mod if you know a jagex employee, and that Jagex should be more merciful to f2p. Then in general, more sophisticated P2p talks get overloaded with little miniclip noobs who are 9 years old spamming it with threads like 'my grate epic batle with a man' and then the flame wars break out. There would be some positive comments like "u killed a man? omg ur such hihg level!'. But really, f2p should have atleast 2 updates a year. Maybe something like a new fighting style, or a little lumbridge makeover thingy. I got some great ideas for that.
  5. Bad. Proof? I don't need proof. It's all around you. Spray painted onto buildings. On the news. On websites. Written in chalk on the side of a church. "GOD SUCKS BURN IN HELL" That's nothing compared to how Christians treat others sometimes. ;) Hmmm true but we aren't the only ones *cough*Terrorists*cough*

  7. Men can wear womans 'bra' (forgot what they're called too late at night) and a skirt. The wise old man's actual name is Bob the Jagex Cat! Bob the Jagex cat plays in the A Tail of two Cats quest.
  8. I'm fascinated to see how you explain the 51% that voted for Bush. But no, I don't think the US will invade Iran. It would never get Congressional approval, and the US simply doesn't have the troops. Lol.. You think his approval rating is still that high? Yeah I don't think there is much of a chance something like this could get passed -- at all. We had a "reason" to go to war with iraq. (if its jusitifed isn't up to this thread, but there was a reason) I don't see anything like that for iran. *cough*excessive use of uranium and partnership with Iraq *cough*
  9. It's not allowed to say if you're attacking a place on the internet. It appears there could be 'spies anywheree.' KnightLite, you are totally wrong. Dont even think almost 100% US is liberals. Meh. The liberals have no real reason to live in America anyways. If they dont like bush, we dont care. If you dont like america then ge out! Yer enemy
  10. You're not supposed to talk about it on the internet.
  11. Yes. If used wrongly.
  12. Can't use science to find out if there is god or not. You can only use your religion.
  13. I stole my nickname from a very dumb TV show. Fortunately, on other forums I use a different nick. So you could say I've had my nick stolen.
  14. You're right. Scientists fail to mention in 'studies show' that Global warming is 1. Natural 2. If its destined to happen, it will, no use trying to stop it. You can slow it down, but that would be useless. 3. Global warming isn't happening already? What exactly do scientists mean by global warming happening? We might think it means that the earth would dry up, but is this true. Could anything happen in the next 40 years? . What makes scientists different from the rest of us? The fact that they can dig into snow? Everyone has a different voice, and arguing about it and trying to stop it will just stall it longer. Dont get me wrong for saying dont stop it. You can try to slow it down. But what do scientists really mean about 'global warming happening'? Alright, look. Noone knows how old the earth is. Let's just go back as far as 1 AD. A year after christ's death. Now, from then, there has been 2006 years. In that years, what happened? Cities have burned. Tropical marshes have started appearing, adding tremendous amounts of C02 to the air. Now let's go to 40 years. What could happen? Could we make a renewable energy source? We have, it's solar energy. Scientists fail to mention when fossil fuels are 'destined' to run out at the 'rate' they're going at. If we could install solar energy panels, as said before, it could drastically reduce greenhouse gasses. But, what about now? What's happening now? Forget about the future, what's happening now? Solar panels are being installed. Fossil fuel rates are going down. Not alot, actually barely, but going down. As we all now, smoke, a greenhouse gas, contains, ehh, greenhouse gasses, as smoke is the incomplete burning of a fuel. If we add solar panels, smoke containing CO2 would stop entering the atmosphere at such large rates. But what about us? Companies wouldnt get this because they would get paid less. Complicated problem, eh? Best to do is let the official scientists figure this out, the ones that don't say "We're all going to die in 40 years. Let's install solar panels."
  15. Uhhh. Sigh. Youv'e made my brain hurt. 1) You can't put wells everywhere and they are completely useless to water a city. 2) No they're not. 3) At least other people on this topic and others in the world have an interest to help find suitable drinking water sources. 4) Yeah.. Why don't you come to my country, the driest one on the planet and see what our dam levels are at. In 73 years, if current trends continue, we will run dry. 5) Yes, good idea. Lets wait untill 4 million in Sydney, 3 million in Melbourne, 2 million in Brisbane and 1 million in Adelaide have had to move to north western WA and resettle where they have been having record rainfalls i.e. wait untill our countries economy, inferstructure and way of life completely die. Yeah, but what if the current trends in Australia don't continue? What if the rate it's going at now changes? What if? Scientists said at the rate it's going now, not if the rate changes. Anything could happen. The water nuke could be dropped on Australia. Maybe the dams would come back. Maybe the whole world will be destroyed by then. Who knows? Noone. Scientists still claim they are predictions. Unless you have a time machine and have gone to the future you can't actually claim that it's true.
  16. Pssh... by 2080 even Africa will have drinkable water. Water purifiers will be common enough to stop a dehydration "disease".
  17. 1) Wells ftw 2) Scientists are baffled morons 3) The human mind thinks he knows everything but he doesn't. 4) There's been enough water to last thousands of years, dont know how 73 years can change it. 5) I say, don't worry about water shortages until we can finally understand the whole meaning of this, when the world is closer to 2080.
  18. Ehhhh..... there's a whole globe full of water.
  19. Strange enough as it is, the level 26 witch in Draynor Manor is gone, and is now replaced with a talkable witch that tells you she used to live with her sister, but they all got killed by rowdy adventurers.
  20. Give me the links and I will gladly ask for this post to be locked, oh wait there are none is there. I just add to that zone about how some people buy and sell runes down there. Do you not know how to read, it says it for people who don't know there way around the bank, you mite but some other people may not. Who doesnt know how to walk around a big house? It must either take a free to play level 3 mind who just joined 10 minutes ago or you must just be completely [developmentally delayed]ed.
  21. Thanks satenza, that was a very good guide. So I must have 40+ ranging, 40+ magic, and atleast 60 attack. 43 prayer, and a high defence level. Good, I have all of those besides 43 prayer. Now I probably will go do Horror from the deep ( :o ), but thanks for the guide anyways. It helps level 70 newbs like me.
  22. Just gotta trust your PC, and if worst comes to worst get a friend down there fast. Never happened to me though. You need as much high boosting mage equipment as possible to speed through all the brothers. WTH? lol. It's 9.3m ish :| Oh, I would do it, but I'm not crazy enough to lose all that stuff :notalk: Yea 1M more doesn't really matter. I don't play anymore so i have no need to know current prices of these particular things. This will probably get a noob answer, but can you post a picture, or tell us which combat, def, prayer and other affiliated stats are required to atleast make it out of the barrows?
  23. Yeah this guide is sorta.... useless..... but it's ok =D>
  24. This is an extremely well done guide, exept for one thing which almost no barrows blogs have, it's more important than actually doing it yourself Your skill chart, to see what skill level you have when you did it, makes life totally easier. Thanks for the blog anyway.
