I like dnb but the all the mentioned names make music that isn't very interesting to me. But if you like Pendulum, you'll probably also like other Breakbeat Kaos crew's music like Fresh's (who by the way did most of the tracks that came from legendary group Bad Company aka EIB) last album or Adam F (also a legend in terms of dnb) singles. In addition to that you might also want to check out Dillinja, Concord Dawn, Zinc, Roni Size, Shy FX & T Power, Total Science and so forth. What I really like is the very interesting break editing and cold, maybe even somewhat dark atmospheric soundscapes that is produced by Fanu, Seba, Paradox, Senses, Macc, Fracture, Neptune, Equinox, Breakage. Give a hear to the last Breakage's album "This Too Shall Pass" or any Fanu single and see what dnb really has to offer. I recently discovered Martsman's twitchy robotic style dnb that sounds fresh and good. Innovative stuff like this is allways good to listen. Futuristic or very technical dnb makers are also Vector Burn, ASC, Future Engineers, Rantoul, ICR, Mav. Labels that push this kind of sound are Covert Operations, OHM Resistance, Offshore. There's been a project going on that includes dnb producers and jazz artists and the outcome is very, very interesting. You can find out about it here (sample clips inside). Then there's this more dancefloor oriented dnb which's biggest names you already know (Pendulum, Andy C and so on). In this area i dig the softer dnb (liquid funk) producers like Mutt, Random Movement, Alix Perez, Commix, High Contrast, Calibre, Syncopix, Young Ax, Redeyes, D-Bridge, Big Bud, Sonic and so forth. Neuro and darker dnb producers are good too. If you're into dnb more seriuously, then you've got to know the history. Look through back cats of the legendary labels like Metalheadz, Good Looking, Reinforced, Renegade Recordings, Creative Source, Moving Shadow, Certificate 18, Prototype, No U Turn, Hospital, Droppin Science, Partisan, V Recordings, very precious material have been put out from these labels. Oh and there's not much bands in drum'n'bass. Dnb records are just spinned by DJ's. But London Elektricity has done some live shows with instruments and all, Macc is doing live drumming sometimes instead of just spinning records and Intense has done live performance(s?) too.
