You got to be kidding me, it's arguably the most useful skills out there. (Together with summoning) lol ikr! its underrated. the only reason people see it as useless is that it isnt as effective in pk alone anymore. it used to be an ancient mage using just spells could pwn almost anyone. but now there have been no spell additions and no better armor so its falling behind in the power struggle. and tbh, range is leading it by a long shot. Not to mention without magic there would be no teleports, no alching (no use for yew longs), no enchanted jewelrry or bolts (range weakened dramatically along with no teleports). Magic is probably the most useful skill.
