I mean when magic sucks when training is the fact that there are very minimal amounts of options like from 55 to 70 what did you do? Alc? And when you ask 95% of rs players how they trained magic they will say "alc" or DKS. How does range cost you more than 500k from 55 to 70 j/w. Magic feels endless when training forever and with melee or range I can almost AFK train. I love maging but it is RSI prone when training and it is fast to train but there is almost no way to get it up by making money except MTA which is boring as hell (telekentic theater) and DKS which can be a little fun. Did you read the whole thread or just the title? Ancients are practically dead in Pvp because of people being able to attack you when your farcasting someone. Lunars is what i consider a "Skillers Handbook" With spells like "Bake Pie" or "String Amulets". No one is ever going to Pvp Kill someone using only magic in the lunar spellbook because Vengeance is the only spell that does any damage. Sure Vengeance is great but what if your opponent hits a 4 on you and you do 3 damage to them? And lastly Vengeance DDS is good but DDS is melee and I am complaining about the unreliability of magic and magic alone.

Sorry About the Posting Twice but... If a Meler wears Ranger Armor the meler can avoid most of the magic attacks and DDS or D Mace the mage. Not to mention in PVP worlds the mager can be attacked in single combat while farcasting.

If we forget about AGS the DDS is cheap about the cost of 20 barrages and if it reaches a mage it can be devastating as it gets 4 attacks in a row, and if the meler is using dragonhide the mage is almost defenseless.

Well that's one hell of an "if". Also, since nobody has unlimited money it's also a completely irrelevant and baseless argument. I could just as well say "slayer is easy if you get instant exp" or "getting a phat is easy if you have infinite money", basically "[insert achievement] is easy if you remove the the thing that makes that achievement difficult in the first place". It's like saying that a hard game is easy if you play on god mode. Fascinating but doesn't change the fact that the game is still hard. No one has unlimited monesy but people still have lots of money. And you can always get more. But anyway sorry dude i was steamed about something else in my life i will go take out my post. Yeah but you can fight with it an unlimited amount of times. And of course you can do Fog but you get flamed alot and it is demoralizing. Also please tell me when you can do with magic that is "great" Lastly magic has many uses but you can do many stuff you can do with magic better using melee or ranged.

Construction is fast and easy but costly. I would have to say HERBLORE nowaii because you can buy unfinished potions and add the secondary ingredient losing millions but getting your cape.

MAGIC IS WAYY UNDERPOWERED. All of you saying "barrage and DDS" isnt dds mele? HMMM I DO WONDER. If a mager faces a ranger ranger wins. Simple 'nuff. The mager should splash more than he hits and the ranger should hit lots on the mager. If a mager faces a meler the mele wins. WHY??? Because as soon as the fight starts the meler puts on RANGED armor and DDS's the mager while the mager can... A: Start splashing and not hitting anything on the Mele/Range hybrid. B: Wear armor and splash even more vs the Mele/Range hybrid. C: Keel over and die. YUP you guessed it it is C. Also if a mager equipps a DDS and specs it wouldent he be a meler? And the point is magic being overpowered and magic only. PS: If you think magic is overpowered in F2p go to g2p bh and see if there are any magers that are there and not running for their lifes.

Any more specifications like does it have to be fun and active or can it be dull but get good xp?
