Players' defence are that low? Then how come people use verac's for PvP? What do you mean? Claws are more accurate, period - defence has nothing to do with it. Veracs are beaten by whip + defender for everything except torag\DFS tanks and prayer. Godswords outhit whips at high-defence monsters like black dragons and dark beasts. That a high-level player with good armor would have lower defence than said monsters is surprising to me. Whips are no good at black dragons/dark beasts because whips have no stab/crush attack
