  1. I have 10 raw fish, 5 flax, and every day I go and top off the coffers, which I keep at 750k. I get around 100k profit per day, which is sadly my main source of income, since I'm lazy. It's enough to fund my activities, such as they are. I'm working on slayer right now, which thankfully doesn't cost much money.
  2. I agree with logging out. However, this is assuming I'm bored with Runescape as a whole, and not just because I've been woodcutting/fishing/mining for two days straight, which I don't have the patience for.
  3. Well, I tried killing these with level 60 attack and defence, and level 62 strength, and found I was just not killing enough per trip for my liking. I'm going to train on giant spiders and come back with all level 65s. I was using an amulet of power, rune scimmy, and lobsters, although I plan on using salmon instead since I'm using them to train fishing anyway.
  4. EDIT-- Nevermind, that has nothing to do with runecrafting gloves at all....
  5. Once I was mining coal in the scorpion pit mine back in RS1, and this scammer comes up to me. He says he's quitting Runescape and was giving away his full rune. I was naturally suspicious, but he traded me, put up a full set of rune, and accepted. I would have gotten full rune for free, except I had too much coal in my inventory, I dropped a handful, and traded him again. This time, he says to give him my rune plate body to free up space, then he'll trade me the rune again. Since he actually did accept the trade for nothing, I foolishly trusted him and fell for this clumsy scam. He went to the bank, then logged off, and since this was before the report abuse button, there was little to nothing I could do about it. I ended up without my rune plate body for over a month, since I didn't play for a week, and I was never fast at earning money. I still feel stupid for not leaving enough room for the trade.
  6. Ugh that was right before I died..... I ran and 2 or 3 people followed (I'm a coward) and one had a rune weapon. EDIT : Of course, i don't blame the rune scimitar completely, I would've died anyway.
  7. They are real, mass bannings that are publicly announced are rare, if we anger the Jagex gods too much they will smash Runescape with their holy judgement.
  8. Or maybe there could be a system set up, you talk to an NPC and say the name of the owner of the house you want to go to. Or in other cases, say the name of the clan building (eg. hall) The player who owns the house can choose if tehy want only friends, only clan members, no one (sort of a checkbox system to say who can and can't come into your house) People visiting houses can't move anything themselves, but maybe there will be a guestbook type system, a shop system, etc. For more public buildings like guild halls, the checklists would have the same features and the same features would be allowed. However say, maybe people could join their houses together? or renovate houses? One feature I would LOVE is to hire NPC characters, like gardener, etc. Say, you could hire a clan recruiter to do a screening of potential clan members buy looking at minimum levels, if they meet the levels they go to the next level of screening. Wow this is rather exciting, chatting about possibilities. However if you wanted to not use that system, everything could be on a massive, massive southern continent accessible from most ports or teleports. Either way, POH will be THE BIGGEST change to Runescape since Members came out. OH YES, I hope there is a server dedicated to POH, so when you go to a POH you are transferred to the specialty server so everybpdy is on the same world for POH and people in your clan aren't all on different servers in your building. If there is a special server, it would only be a matter of time before somebody made a trading hall, complete with banks. Maybe I'm just babbling, maybe I'm using too many spaces, but one thing is for sure POH will be great, or will fail, then get revised, THEN BE GREAT! PS. I hope that POH will be for f2p as well.
  9. .... from the pre-existing ranged armour on melee character bonuses? I was just thinking, there are already range/melee hybrids, so why not have a range/mage hybrid? A neat idea would be powered up arrows with spells. There could be an option on magic bows similar to the options on staves. To enchant an arrow would require a magic bow, arrows, and the runes required for the spells. That's added to the magic level needed to enchant the arrows and the ranged level to use magic bows. Note: You couldn't use a staff to help with the runes because you would need to wield the bow. The enchanted arrows would do bonus damage to other players (say maybe 5-10 bonus damage on the best enchant spell). Why not go the whole way and add mage/melee hybrids? The bonus would be basically the same with weapons, The enchanted weapon would deal slightly more damage then regularily at a cost of a few runes every attack. My idea for enchanting weapons is different, the spell would be cast on the weapon for a cost of 0 runes, the weapon would now automatically use up runes every time you attack, if you run out of runes the weapon would no longer be enchanted. What do you think about my idea? It would encourage more hybrid characters so a pure wouldn't have as much of an advantage.
  10. Sigh, the good times where noobs were less common and newbs were everywhere.(newb is a new player, noob is an idiot) I distinctly rmember getting lost in Varrock and forgetting how to talk to NPCs (This was at least a year before tutorial island). On another note, I just made 4 newbs have a much better first day a lot better (well at least still in their first week). I gave out 2 power amulets and 2 groups of 5k. I was in a really good mood.
