  1. Not for windows lol, Umm if i get around to it ill try to make something that records how long you have been online, as well as saving logs of it, but dont know if i will get to it
  2. First of all, are you running Windows XP? If so, try downloading Opera, but im guessing since you cant run IE nor Firefox, you may have some fun little programs to deal with. If you post a hijackthis log, it will be very helpfull.
  3. Whatpulse keeps track of the keystrokes and mouse clicks
  4. That guide was not very helpfull IMO. If you want to help peopple give them directions, and explain everything as if they never touched a computer before. A firewall, antivirus or any program will not help at all, unless they know how to use it. And snelm, why would you want to kill explorer[Caution: Executable File] any ways?
  5. Ok, you still have 30 days of a trial, so that means you have 30 days to 'buy it'. But for now you need to enter your name in there, along with a company (I belive you can leave this blank though). Since adobe will already have your information, when you buy the program they will have you register it with your name that you activated it with already. So if you dont plan on buying it, better think ahead now before you enter anything.
  6. what is this? Anyways, i had party poker at my gramparents house, and for some reason, along with it came quite a few other 'non-friendly' programs.
  7. So poor you cant afford it? Not to point you out directly, but about 9/10 people download a trial version of dreamweaver, and just find a serial code for it, and i highly doubt your one of the 10% of people that actually bought it. Try running dreamweaver on a low resource computer and you will see why people use notepad. And if you want real experience coding, and real experience with trouble shooting you would use notepad, Why? Because it does not auto-add Ending Code, it does not order the code for you, it does not give you hints. Dreamweaver is good i admit, i use it for my php coding but thats because i set my computer up as a server, so i can run php files directly off of it. And dreamweaver allows me to do some harder projects alot eaiser then note pad does. If you rely on help, instead of learning on your own, troubleshooting on your own and actually getting the real experience, you wont go very far.
  8. I mainly use notepad for one reason, it is eaiser to multi task with. Dreamweaver is good, for begginers who havent got their code straight yet. But besides that, nah. Wysiwyg editors are pointless when you can save the code as .html and just refresh the page for a more accurate preview
  9. If your trying to install linux, and dont even know how to download the files your getting yourself into way more you can handle.
  10. I reccomend Linux ;). Anyways, yes, you need an upgrade. I have a feeling your not a programmer, so most likley you wont need linux, and all it would do is cause you more trouble. So stick to windows. http://www.dell.com should suit you fine
  11. well if he just learned that out of a dictionary their editors arent getting anymore jobs anytime soon... Anyways, if i was you i would buy a new hard drive and see if that fixes the problem, if not the rest depends on how satisfied you were with all the other aspects of your computer besides the HD and mother board.
  12. Ok, i have one more idea, but it wont fix the problem. Load a different website, that you think uses CSS too. if the site loads properly, Open up the source and see if you find "
  13. Wow, i totally missed the windows Xp part  and anyways,
  14. Open up the control panel and head over to internet options. Click on the Advanced tab, and look for "Enable visual styles..." and make sure that is checked. Now head down to HTTP Settings, and make sure you have "Use HTTP 1.1" Checked. Now look at multimedia, and check everything there. Thats all i could think of, sorry if it doesnt help.
  15. no, there is almost absolutly nothing you can do with the information you have given us. Im guessing your running Windows 98 or lower, and it would be pretty dam hard to find upgrades for a PC that old. Plus, with the Processor you have now, you can barely run Runescape on low detail, so the best thin you can do i start saving up your money, and by the time you have enough for a new computer intel should have their new processor out which will be so much better the your old processor.
  16. Lol, should have been more specific, i didnt really think abouit that fact lol. But my point is, not many companys do use java, because it is, well, slow.
  17. Dreamweaver will be a great help, but its best that you learn it by doing it, not rely on using a program to learn about it, because its harder that way. Google Html tutorials, i used Davessite.com or something when i learned a while ago.
  18. Can you tell me a corperation that uses java for their main programming?
  19. and i need some .help if im actually posting in this ignorant topic.
  20. What version of Photoshop do you have. In photoshop CS, im sure that after you have copyed an image to the clipboard and try to open a new document it auto sets to the size of the image.
  21. If i was you, i would learn c# as well, companys are starting to convert to c# now, instead of c++.
  22. Try adding some lighting effects near the sun, mabey a spotlight and point it in the direction the sun is shining. Possinbly some light Abstract Brushes over the top (Very light, 5-10 Opactiy), it gives it a texture.
  23. I posted this here because it is more of an opnionated question, and in my past experiences this would just go off without any posts in the tech forum. Anyways, many of the forum users do not visit tech forums often unless they have a problem, So i posted here, to see what the average user belives. If a mod strongly belives it should be moved, do so
  24. Whats everybodys Favorite OS anyways? I know many of you will say windows XP, but is that because you have never given any others a chance? Or do you just find Windows XP to have everything you like? Personally I like windows XP Because it has some programs that other OS's cannot run. But I am Actually installing Redhat/FEDORA (a Linux DISTRO) soon, which will be a good addition :)
