  1. Hmm, i think ill try it that way then :) thanks smithie
  2. I have been working on the devolopement of a new project, and i have a few questions. Can anyone help me learn how to parse data from a website, like World information on runescape, or anything like that. Does anyone have an IRC client source code that i could use to in my program, I will give full credit to them? Will anyone teach me how to create an auto updater? Thanks everybody
  3. The only thing you may be able to learn in a few days is a few basic html tags like bold and italic.
  4. Avoid intel Celeron, thats just intels quick way out of things IMO. I would stick with the an intel dual core processor. Normally 512mb RAM would be sufficiant, but i would stick to 1GB especially if you are into other games.
  5. Hmm, mabey software testing. If your a devoloper, you could use it to test your software for compatability.
  6. Actually, some hackers that work in big corperations use this method to retrive information from other workers, which includes Website Historys, Cookies, Files/Pictures, keylogs and other incriminating information.
  7. SP1? More like SP3  I highly doubt Microsoft has released service pack 3 for Windows Vista since it hasnt been released yet =D>
  8. All i would suggest is fix it up as best as you can, and make sure all the drivers are installed properly. And give it to a kid or something for their first computer
  9. look around the outside to see if there is a side without any rivits, if there is check inside to see if there is any visible rivits. If there isnt a side without rivits, your not getting in easily. Mabey your just missing a case lock, on somecases the locks are actually hard to find.
  10. Lmao, why does everyone consider microsoft frontpage a skill? And why is graphics design classed with dream weaver?
  11. download the nero trial, it offers a back up tool which allows you to back up anything to a DVD, CD or to another hard drive. But to your problem, have you installed any new hard ware latly, possible USB devices?
  12. by 'a decent liquid cooling system' do you mean silent? Normal liquid cooling are not silent, and are infact Very noisy. I personally stay away from liquid cooling just because if something goes wrong, and it leaks onto your mother board, well, you know what will happen.
  13. /me laughs at count chocola First of all, pentium 2 for 50$, your getting RIPPED OFF imo. Second of all, Dell has fully customizable products, and they May suggest that you will need an upgrade, but they wont tell you. Ive ordered 3 customized computers with dell, and none of which have had a person tell me what to upgrade. And i will be shocked if a gig of ram will be enough for most highend games this time next year, you need ram no matter what you are using your machine for, but i would not suggest under 512 or over 2gb, because that will lack the performance you are looking for.
  14. GHOST.txt is either hidden or missing from your recovery disk. Try exploring the disk search it for Ghost.txt and determine if it is simply missing. If it is you will need to order a new one
  15. Just read the entire agreement, and looks like your right. I must have been thinking about windows XP pro. Sorry :(
  16. yeah same  he blended it in pretty well :ohnoes:
  17. No it will not work. Recovery disks check to make sure it's the same computer the disk came with. You can however find a guide to extract just the windows XP from the disk and burn it to a CD to use. I don't think you can discuss that here because it's against the rules. Umm, as long as you personally do own a copy of the program its self, you are at right to make as many copys as you wish, but are only allowed to use them for yourself. So basically, if your computer did come with windows XP, you can obtain it anyway possible and are at right to use it for yourself.
  18. read my edited post, sorry i didnt post it originally, i had to re read your first post :P
  19. ya operating systems stoped coming ONBOARD about a year ago... :P But anyways, yes you need to get one. And linux is not a very good idea for you. Depending on the distro, it is highly complex to the average windows user. And if you dont know the in's and out's of how an operating system work, along with command prompts, then you will be stumped
  20. i would spend 5000 on the comp, and the other 15,000 for a 72inch plasma for the screen ;)
  21. i would NOT buy a compaq or emachines, especially with an intel celeron processor. that MAY rune GW, but your computer will freeze and you will need to restart frequantly. Worth the extra 100$ to get a decent processor..
  22. omfg, i finally found a spyware scanner that detects 99% of all my viruses !!1!!1
  23. wow, i actually liked it. *Saves link as*
  24. Text is way to pixely, change the text or add a border around it. The guys face seems like there is something missing, Mabey because the nose is such a light shade. Not one of my favs from you :(
