  1. I completely fail to see how you would notice how many avatars we deal with. :) We remove many per each week due to checking avatars, and users reporting them to us. Undoubtably a work force of around 50 people is not going to be able to remove every avatar/check every user when there are over 100,000 accounts. But we very much do our best, and I say we do a good job. But if that's your view, then it's very narrow. A tip.it staff member would not go into a thread, and say "This needs to be locked"; and then leave it at that. So it is hardly acting like a staff member, if anything it is spamming, which we will often warn the user for. Though really it depends on the severity of the incident. If a user says it needs to be moved and links to the right forum, there isn't that much wrong with such a post, but if one says "inb4thelock", then they will often receive a warning as such. I fail to see how you can 'nit-pick' our rule system merely be looking at the flaming section. Calling someone a noob, which is agreeable by most users, is not offensive. The definition of noob is merely a new player, there is nothing offensive about it. Also; I didn't realise you contacted every member and asked them if they had read the rules.
  2. Posts removed. Stop the flaming from here on, anyone who continues will be contacted regarding their behaviour. -Rainy_Day
  3. Moved to Help & Advice. :)
  4. 1. Please don't post about a player in a negative light 2. Please use the player behaviour rants sticky; viewtopic.php?f=66&t=787043 -Locked
  5. I fight with words. #-o Honestly though, I have never been involved in a fight in my life time. I attempted to start karate lessons, though that failed miserably since I hadn't the motovation to continue. I'd probably aim for the weak areas and run like mad if I didn't have protection. :D
  6. Anyone else flaming will be dealt with, so bite your tongue. Thanks.
  7. Locking due to the lovely flaming going on here. Where is the love?
  8. Here here. And asking others to make a blog merely to get the subforum doesn't really work well, as it shows that there simply isn't a want for the subforum if users are being asked to create them to receive one. :? Users like me want a subforum so we never have to see the topics again. I am still a little surprised nobody else has made them. Where as users like me simply don't want a subforum or the existence of RL blogs. :P 2 Subforums under Off-Topic is enough, and at the same time blogs detract from the aim of OT to spark discussion, not discuss what you had for breakfast. :P

  10. Congratulations, ladies and gentlemen.

  12. Hopefully in less than a year I'll be a part of the police force, which will give me access to a new arson of weaponry. Therefore my first stop if a zombie outbreak occurs is to head for the nearest police station to stock up on goodies. Then who knows, local supermarket to pick up canned goods, alcohol, medication etc. then off to a very high building which I will lock myself in (floor by floor to ensure greater security). Then we'll take things as they happen..
  13. I honestly think the Forsakenmage chat is sufficient for tip.it members. Please note that no channels will be made official channels for tip.it by the staff.
  14. Done. :)
  15. I don't really feel there's much demand for it, especially when there are so many blogging sites for the same purpose. If I were to blog about RL issues I'd use one of them and link to it in my signature. :?
  16. Plase put more effort into your topics than just a goal bar.
  17. Please continue this in the relationship advice thread; viewtopic.php?f=10&t=751428 :)
  18. Please end this discussion about medium to longish length brown things. For mine and everyone's sanity.
  19. Please use this topic here; viewtopic.php?f=10&t=144061 -Locked
