  1. Zero, just because I am here. :D
  2. Any insect with multiple legs, especially spiders. Freakiest little things in existence, cannot stand the idea of one touching me. I once woke up one night to find a spider running across my bed (it was huge :(), to which I refused to sleep in my bed until it was found. Luckily they found it the next day, and it was 'removed'. :o Most other things I can withstand. :)
  3. Please continue to use the pre-existing Swine Flu topic; viewtopic.php?f=10&t=792153 -Locked
  4. Yeah.... No. :P Too many private conversations regarding all-sorts, including them. :?
  5. viewtopic.php?f=66&t=747861 :)
  6. Let's all calm down and get back to constructive criticism regarding the pieces, eh? :P Strife_3e, if you encounter a comment you think is not constructive, then don't reply to it, as it will only ever trigger what just happened. ;)
  7. But as DarkDude98 said, on Facebook you tend to be friends with the people you talk to, thus caring about what they are up to. On tip.it most people simply take into account the content of posts, and ignore the entire left side, unless something about that person really interests them. I think there's a huge difference between a Social Networking Site and a Discussion Forum. And what the devil does "I'll say it again, it's pretty much in human nature to use it." mean - I fail to see how it is 'human nature' for us to use it. :?
  8. That's merely an assumption though. Not everyone on facebook uses it (I myself am an example), and why would you assume everyone on Tip.it would use it? I certainly wouldn't see the need to go to User Control Panel every day just to edit what I am currently 'doing'.
  9. Rainy_Day replied to a post in a topic in Off-Topic
Please stick to the advertise here topic for this. ;)

  11. Perhaps put a little more information into your posts, as opposed to a mere emoticon in future? -Locked for spam
  12. I feel he was justified in the lawsuit, but he didn't really think about it enough to realise how disliked he would become over it. It was a landmark case though, which will probably be used as an authority for similiar lawsuits against such companies. I'm still a big fan of theirs though (saw them in London a few weeks ago), their latest album made up for the abysmal one that was St Anger. :P
  13. Stop posting "Pr0nz" -.- Edit: I am being serious, the connotations of the phrase are not what we exactly want this forum being associated with.
  14. "1) It has already benefited other sites who have used it" How so? "2) It has many practical uses" How so? "3) It has many "fun" uses" How so? "4) It's one of those things that can't hurt to try, especially given the low effort needed." It can't hurt to try, but why add it in the first place if it won't be used by many people. :?
  15. I see what you are getting at, however I don't believe it would be as succesful as you predict, and still don't see it being needed or wanted by many. Either way its existence would not bother me, but I just don't see it being needed or useful in the way you describe.
  16. Sorry for any inconvenience caused, but it doesn't seem to be that big a change needing an announcement. :) Locking this since there is no more discussion needed.
  17. Speaking from my perspective, it's another thing that could be abused by people (swearing in etc), plus I don't think many people are going to bother looking at a status message. The only thing that would really matter on a forum is whether the person is online or offline, other information can be found in the Online list, which shows if they are posting, or which forum they are browsing. Tip.it is not Facebook/Myspace, and what you are doing can be kept to your blogs so that if someone is interested, they can view it. Otherwise it's needless. :?
  18. The only way to bump the topic is by being the original poster, unfortunately. And replies saying "Bump" etc are not allowed.
