  1. I'm not sure it is needed, as there is little point for such a function. :? Same goes for Facebook in my view. :P
  2. This isn't really a debate, as mathematics can work it out (as shown by Balazeal).
  3. The debate club is for serious debates and discussions. If you wish to discuss what the rarest drop in RuneScape is, you may wish to use General Discussion, however more structure to your first post would help. -Locked
  4. viewtopic.php?f=10&t=791517 -Locked
  5. Well, this topic was handled well. Due to the flamming responses which keep appearing, I'm locking this to prevent it escalating.
  6. It's good to see you've been unbanned, so play wisely, however there is no discussion value for this on Tip.it. ;)
  7. *sigh* It's my idea of Tiptopia... Not to say younger users cant' contribute, that's why we have the forums open to all. But conversing with those younger then your children does get tiresome sometimes  What is to say adults cannot be just as tiresome? Anyway I don't think post-count should impact on where you can or cannot post, afterall, it's only a number.
  8. I feel it is fine as it is, though would just rather people looked to make sure someone else has not posted it before posting it themselves.
  9. Actually it's enjoyable. Now don't spam. Locked.
  10. If they are in your outbox, it means that the recipient has never read them, though does have them. This could be through not logging in, ignoring or anything else which would mean that they have not clicked it in order to read/respond.
  11. I fail to see the similiarity between Tip.it and RSOF. I don't personally see much of a problem, we're always going to have 'bad eggs', they inhabit every active forum. If you feel it's so bad that you see bad comments "in almost every thread", then help the staff and report it, so that we may take the appropriate action. & never feed the trolls. :shame: :P
  12. Not at all. Let me give an example from yesterday: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=790777#p6588310 Not solid enough? I could point to literally dozens of posts in General Discussion, and quite a few in the picture thread by various people bragging about abusing the glitch and posting screenshots etc, all remaining unbanned as of the time of this post. I could mention a few notorious examples like I'm sure Dan is referring to, but it voilated the "names" rule, so I'll refer to it simply as "The unknown account rhyming with "husky"". Husky, as this account is referred to hereafter, posted dozens of times bragging about abusing the glitch, posting screenshots of drops and usage of it. Mods responded by deleting the posts after a few days, posting something about spamming, and promptly dropping the whole issue. The rules make no bones about it - admit to breaking RS rules, and your instantly perm banned from TIF. What happened to that? It was over a month ago, either the admins haven't logged in in a reeeely long time or the rules aren't being observed as they should be. My interpretation of; 1.1 - Breaking or encouraging others to break any of Jagex's rules Violating Jagex's official RuneScape Rules on this forum is cause for being permanently banned from the Tip.it forums Is that if you actually break their rules on this forum (Selling an account, etc), then you will be banned. But admitting to doing it in the past does not mean they will be permanently banned (as what evidence would we have?), in most cases people are warned for their behaviour. I see nothing in the rules that says admitting to doing it will result in a ban.
  13. [/hide] You post way too many pics here 8-) I've only ever known each page have (at least) one picture of him on, so I cannot image the thread without it. :? :P
  14. Moved to Help & Advice.
  15. Raids come and go. And as Moderators, we deal with it and move on. I can hardly call it 'Tip.it falling' when a raid happens, as the Moderators are normally fairly quick to handle it. As a user, all you can do to help is Report it (and not quote it saying it is against the rules which happens 9 times out of 10), nothing more, nothing less. :) Now since there is not actually any discussion value in this, I'm locking it.
  16. Please continue to use the original thread.
  17. Sorry, there's no discussion value in this.
  18. And thus, this has descended into a hidden funny picture thread. And let's be honest, we know where they go, or rather, where it has already gone with due thanks to the last picture that I have removed. -Locked.
  19. RATM - Killing In The Name
  20. Congratulations. :)
  21. I see no more need for the topic now. In future please use Help & Advice for questions. :)
  22. -Locked.
