  1. It's all part of fantasy. I can't even start to count how many Fantasy genre books I've read which include stray dogs in desolate and run-down parts of towns/cities. I think one of the the issues (There are others of course) is many - probably most - players don't look at Runescape with any imagination at all, while the Jagex staff appear to do. It is an MMPORG, but most players treat it like a MMOG. They just take it at face value, not looking beyond the limits of pixels and programming. Instead of imagining a flea-bitten mangy mutt hounding the heels of a heroic warrior, they see a poor abused doggy being chased away.
  2. A picture of a dragon. It'd be a drag pic.. (I know pickaxe has a K)
  3. You're not crazy, it's just a number of rather weak minded people who can't understand that everyone is different. These people then tar & feather everyone from a certain country/race/religion/gender/hair colour/etc with the same brush. They can be found in every country, in the past, in the present and probably in the distant future too. It's one thing not liking somebody because of their attitude/opinions etc, that's understandable, but it's just total insanity to then think that everyone who shares some characteristic with that person is the same.
  4. In 5 years, I think Runescape will be in it's final stages. Jagex will probably have made a new game with much better features, and ways of combating autos, and most of the player base will move over to it. Slowly, the RS servers will empty, leaving behind newcomers who stick around for 10 minutes, some autoers and a small hardcore community whom hold onto dwindling hopes that RS will be rejuvenated. Updates will grind to a halt, the forums will fall into decline, servers will be removed. It'll be a game already half burried in its grave, dug by its own makers, waiting for the last few spades of soil to be piled on top. Rather like RSC is now.
  5. It is. It would be pointless for Tracey West to do it anyways without Jagex authorisation, because she'd have infringed on copyright multiple times with the pictures and would lose every penny pretty quickly from the resulting lawsuit. As well as that, she's a known author with many books and guides based around various cartoons and games, many published by Scholastic, which is also an organisation with a good reputation. I doubt Amazon would even stock her stuff if it wasn't legal, and Scholastic wouldn't have her writing books for them either.
  6. No. Then again, I wouldn't wear a shirt that had anything related to any website what-so-ever on.
