Anime :wink: That's a render. A render is a stock image used in a sig. So a render can be anything, a zombie/anime/gun/pie... anything. Just specify what render you want. You can find some at planetrenders.net, or if you have a drawing, I can color it in, then make whatever you want out of it; you're going to have to scan it though.

Alright. I dreamed of Eddie the 'ead (see Iron Maiden on Wikipedia), and in my dream, I'd made a signature with a render of him. I didn't find any renders of the picture that I wanted, so I cut it out myself. ^Latest version I'd appreciate some suggestion, criticism and maybe death threats. I have a small bamboo fun, with mouse, and a few softwares. I like it a lot. Bought it for 99$ CAN at Futureshop. I haven't tried any other, but I ca tell you this one is quite the bomb. :D

It's better, because there's no jaggies; however, I told you I've had enough of polar inversion - you'll get sick of it, too. Just a matter of time :D. I'm not going to point you to any plug-ins, I'm going to ask you to go to the plugin section and download every single one of them. :-w

Guthix, I'm afraid that polar inversion isn't enough. It does give quite a good effect, but it gets repetitive after a while. I suggest you actually fool around a little and see what you can get with all these plugins. I HIGHLY recommend the PDN forums as well (http://paintdotnet.forumer.com). Some edges are jaggy. I think when you think you're done, you should try all kinds of things on the image, and then if that doesn't give it anything better, you're done. M'kay?

Eheheh, hehehehehe.... :anxious: [Edit] Done, uploading the pictures. Alright, the Alpha Masking tut: I use alpha masking to make text have effects inside, and not have jagged edges. So I make a lava-like background (example, I never tried lava), then, I type my text on a new file, white on a black background. I save it as "blahblahmask" or something with mask in it. I then use the alpha mask plug-in, and load my blahblahmask thing. The parts that were white in blahblah mask are still opaque after the effect is applied, but the dark a pixel gets, the more transparent it will be after the effect. The invert mask feature lets you invert the mask, for example if you typed your text in black on white instead of white on black. If your mask has alpha (transparency), try "Mix Alpha"; it may look better. It doesn't always have to be text though. For example, to crop someone out of a picture, add a new layer, and set it's transparency to 180. Trace an outline of the person with the line/curve tool with a vibrant color(take advantage of the nubs, and right-click on the nubs to make b̮̩̉̉zier curves). Set your magic wand to 69% (ish) and select the outside of your outline, and fill it in with the same color as the outline. Go to Adjustements > Brightness/Contrast, set the brightness to -100 and the contrast to 100. Add a new layer. Move it down. Fill it with white. Merge the top layer with white layer. [CTRL]+[A], then [CTRL]+[X]. New file (you'll notice that the default dimensions are exactly those of the selection you just cut out). Press [CTRL]+[V]. Save this file as mask thing boogy. Come back to your other picture, use the alpha mask plugin on it, with as mask, "mask thing boogy". Done. This is how one could cut-out renders, since Rick hasn't had the time to implement magnetic lasso yet. It should be available in version 4.XX.

There's the times where the people complaints are simply stupid, and then there's the ones that tend to always say "build a bridge and get over it". Both annoy me; the latter should stop feeling like they're a superior breed that is to rule the forum without even considering the destinator's feelings.

[wagon] is debatabley not a swear word. on television they do not block that word when it is said no matter what station you're on. they WILL block it when you add a hole next to the word because then it is a derogatory word. also-- why do you think tip it doesn't block it? Well, tip it doesn't block bastard either and it's clearly a derogatory word. They don't block a more vulgar word for "prostitute" on TV. People call each other "[wagon]". Why? Because it signifies whoever you call that is a posterior. So, apparently, priests swear? You're right, I think.
