Case management for youth at risk. Apparently being an operations manager qualified me. And my potential supervisorvisor seemed to like me which is a good sign. 5 other applicants and I know own 2 of them are also straight out of college so maybe if I'm lucky and the stars align I'll have a new and better job

America is an invader six ways to Sunday. Isreal's existence is viewed as invasion sure, but it's not really Isreal's "choice" to exist where it does. Isreal even gave back a huge chunk of Egypt after capturing it as a token of "please don't try this again" after the 7 day war. Not appreciating the existence of the state of Isreal is one thing, calling it an invasion is another.

Have you considered how you would become eligible for residency in either Denmark or Canada? This is probably where you want to start for Canada. As I understand it, you first need to Immigrate, and then once you have been a permanent resident long enough, you can apply for citizenship. This Questionnaire under Immigration will help you find out if you are eligible. Also of interest is this calulator for the points system Canada uses to determine eligibility under the skilled worker program. Basically, unless you have family here (I expect that's quite helpful), the Canadian Government (and I think all Governments really), only want people who bring skills/assets that the country needs. Also note the list of disqualifications. Basically, criminals, poor people, and people with health issues need not apply. Also, you cannot have any family who are inadmissible to Canada. For clarity, an indictable offence is basically a felony, and summary offence would be a misdemeanor. If this comes across as discouraging, this isn't my intent, but I think a lot people aren't prepared for just how strict most countries are on this issue, so I do want to make sure you are informed about what you are getting into if you actually decide to pursue this. Ideally, I think you want to either spend some time in the country you want to immigrate to either staying with a friend who lives there, or on a temporary work permit (I think the latter would be better). Basically, you want to get into the culture and see if you actually want to live there. Took the test and scored 69/67 so I'm barely able to be accepted, but I am so that's good to know. Climate wise, I would probably want to live in either Vancouver or Toronto being closest to my family on either coast. But this was informative so thank you. @Saq EU prices are high in London, I know that much but it seems alcohol gets taxed very differently country to country so I wouldn't bet on the cost of living being too similar. @Obfuscator I'm looking to move for political and economic reasons. Denmark more closesly aligns with how I think a country should be run, but as I said before it would completely take me away from the life I know now, where as living in Canada is a softer transition. And Canada's language barrier is less harsh.

I'd say he's right. Keep that mentality on a date too, because that's your opening for a first kiss later as well

I'm going to inadvertently start an argument but I'm looking to move to another country. I'm unsure between Canada and denmark. Denmark has a more promising economy but it makes it just about impossible to ever see my friends and family again on any sort of regular basis. And Europe is far more prone to war related activity. Canada has more expensive alcohol, but is reasonably close to the USA and Healthcare is neat. Any other fun tidbits I should know? I've spent years in Massachusetts so weather isn't a huge factor.

Today...
I think it was relevant to "today" in light of the fact many posts had to do with events of the past couple days. But that's why I teased about making a new thread when I introduced the topic :p TO'Day I committed to a new car, found RNGesus in my phone game, finished game of thrones (thus far), had some beers and found a parking ticket on my car despite having parked there nearly once a week since August. Overall good day

Veiva, you're right my numbers are a bit off. I saw a source estimating ISIS at 150,000 and about 100,000 other assorted "terroristic" cells including al quaeda. But you also reinforced my point. There's 1.6 billion Muslims. Most of them are totally normal peaceful people. Certainly more docile than violent anyway. Ring, I agree with you but I hate that refugees get such a bad reputation because there isn't a great way to handle them en masse. Isreal's method is good, but it puts a lot of trust in the refugee and it displaces them from their family so I'm not sure it's totally ideal. But anything is better than the Japo-American internment camps of WW2

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
It's. It cheating if it's consensual on all parties. My buddy is now in an open relation but chose to start sleeping with another girl in our large group of friends and I'm just like whyyyyyy. The world is full of people why are you sleeping with someone your girlfriend knows and will commonly be around. Just seems like a poor decision

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
One of my girlfriends ex roommates was with a guy for 4 years, moved in together last year. His friend was down on luck so he couch surfed with the couple for a while. Boyfriend comes home and the girl says she banged his friend and he needs to move out. Poor guy had almost nothing to his name from sharing so many things. And one less friend. So things could be worse saq haha

If the greatest thing about you is who you're dating, you don't even qualify as your own person. But you're not a sellout for calling someone your equal and dating them. I'm a feminist, because I do believe the pursuit of equality is plausible and altruistic. I don't agree with a lot of people who claim they are feminist by bisecting the sexes even further because that's not even feminism, that's just tossing the scale the other way.
