I'm really glad my phone new expensive phone is so eager to share my thoughts and opinions. Repeatedly.

While the author has about as much credibility as myself on the subject, being an undergrad it does show evidence of strong female roles in viking society. Caused by what caused American feminist ideals were rooted in; men were off to war - women picked up the slack and ended up doing well for themselves. I'd say the math works out

I've also read on the Internet that viking women held all domestic financial power because they were believed to be mystic, and a cheating husband was punished by castration if this is the source you're referring to. But I'm fairly certain I read it on tumblr, so let's do some fact digging

It'd be really cool if there was no direct influence on romantic/sexual behavior during development
  5. Oh ffs attacking a gender as a whole is as pointless as racism. Not ALL women do that thing you hate. Not ALL men think that way. People are individuals beyond their genitals. Some people have traces of both genitals! What then? Projecting your fear of rejection by scarecrowing the other gender is such an oblivious way of handling your issue. That aside, the media often sexualizes female nudity and humorizes male. Nothing new. Just a biproduct of stupid audience polls (stupid audience, not stupid polls) showing that's how people like it

The fact that kids claim they have boyfriends and girlfriends before puberty doesn't speak to their immaturity as loudly as it speaks of society'so high pressure demanding heteronormative behavior on innocent children. Why is it cute to talk about a 1 year old boy and girl getting together in the future like it's some normal thing? They're [bleep]ing infants, let them be infants.
  7. Basically this. Don't just break up with him out of no where. Only if it's an actual problem is it worth even possibly breaking up over. Why you consider your boyfriend to be a hoe is a different issue

I actually went through a pretty good chunk of time where yes, this was the norm for me and many of my friends *shrug*

Everybody's all "wooooo CODBLOP3" and I'm all "I thought that happened already" even if I was wrong, I don't see how it's any substantially different from the last call of duty. I might as well have been right. In any case, we're that much closers to knowing if DICE killed Battlefront or not

My grandfather was left handed until the army gave him a right handed rifle

It's the most accurate word I know New meds make it so I can't stand without toppling over and I'm still having 15 minute coughing fits that nearly result in puking. I'm scheduled for 36 more hours this week but I think I'm gonna call out. I'd rather go through the aggrevation of trying to get a new job then work like this

GPA is bloody confusing even growing up with it. 3.4+ is really good. 85% is pretty much the cut off for "really good"

Oddly my handwriting is garbage, but if it's number or math related it magically looks like that. I wonder if muggiw is the same

I mean all kinds of laws get broken all the time without any perpetrator put into custody. Doesn't make it a good law
  16. RpgGamer replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
I'm going with yes, because due to Jim crow-like laws he is forced to to break the law just to pee which puts him at a risk that cisgendered people wouldn't find themselves in
  17. RpgGamer replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
He likely wouldn't get caught but he has the right to not feel discrimated against just as much as the cisgendered

There is a picture that comes to mind that I can't figure out how to post on my new phone but Google "do I look like I belong in this bathroom" And you'll be met with a female to male citizen who is forced to use the female bathrooms despite being virtually entirely male

No, it wasn't covered already. It was blown off with some irrelevant hand waving about the occasional ancient civilization walking around naked. Sexual assault is: A) A serious crime, which can lead to life inprisonment and even the death penalty. B) Looked down on generally by society (so much so that murderers in prison even have a special distaste for rapists). What more do you want? How can it be "more adequately described as bad"? In major cases yes, even the hardest criminals look down on child molesters but the benevolent sexism is still very real. For example, there is nothing sexual about a female breast but thanks to modern society, we've oversexualized the female body. It's the very same nurture that allows all of the things we fear (like perverts) to develop and thrive. If nurture taught us that everything involving nudity was totally normal and not at all taboo, there would be far less problems involving these topics. Does that reflect reality? Perhaps not, but to say that it wouldn't help i would simply disagree with

This tired argument is brought up time and time again. Nowhere in our culture is it taught that sexual assault is a good thing. Sexual assault is perpetrated by disturbed criminals, not by "brainwashed" but otherwise healthy members of society. You can teach that "nudity is fine" on an intellectual/societal level all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that humans have a visceral biological reaction to nudity in most cases. You can't legislate that away no matter how much you try. Absolutely valid, I only argue that there is an inherent atmosphere in western culture that doesn't so much say that sexual assault is good, it just doesn't adequately say that it is bad
  21. RpgGamer replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
If we could teach our culture that sexual assault is bad but nudity is fine I think unisex bathrooms would work out a-ok

Post got erased but tl;dr, I hate voter turn outs and being sick while working 60 hours weeks is horrible.

I worked for 14 hours and by the time I got to my party, it was over. And some homeless guy threatened to kill my girlfriend. Not my favorite halloween
  24. I think it's an area culture thing though. Philly has tons of gay couples. I can only assume grinder and all that are just as used and available (my one gay friend went on a grinder binge when he first came out and got laid like 10 times a week for a couple months)
