That's the method I used to use.

You need like 5k rune essence just solo run that at the air alter then sell the airs and you'd make a profit.

I'm glad when I was playing on my main I got 80-99 range using a cannon and you got 1/2 the exp.

Cannons are only like 550k-600k and you can get another from the dwarf if yours decays. ~Joe.

I wouldn't even waste inventory space on lunar or any other mage gear imo.

Yes, they do have a big impact, no that wont cause JaGeX to shut down Runescape.

Rune boots give some defense exp as well. Meaning go with rune boots.
