Because of this, the traditional money-making methods are lost on me. I can't STAND mining or smithing or any of that junk. The solution? I've become a clue hunter. This is all to fund the purchase of my third whip. Yeah. :wall: And the first two were back when the price was 3 mil. Maybe full Guthan's, too. While I've been doing this for several weeks now, I figured I'd start a blog to keep it interesting. The blog won't cover old trails, unless I feel like going through old Yahoo archives. (Tell them all to a friend on there.) If you have any suggestions on how else I can make money that's NOT incredibly repetitive, please tell me. Here are my stats for reference, along with my best armors. Feel free to rate me as well. :thumbsup: The first clue for the blog was obtained 1:30pm on April 2nd, completed 9:07pm of the same day. (I wasn't on that whole time. lol) Rewards: 2 rune picks, 12 lobs, rune full, rune baxe. Total worth after alching rune items: 84,480gp. :) Trail two: 9:40pm April 2nd. Completed 10:20pm same. Rewards: Two rune longs, 9 purple sweets, 13 lobs. The sweets are for sale! : Alch reward: 38,400gp. :) Trail three: Come on already! :x FINALLY--6:57 am, 4-5. Eight hours yesterday without one! Completed 8:00 am same. Rewards: 15 green firelighters, black dhide body, 32 laws, rune plate, 50 bloods. Alch reward: 39k. Lost about 20k thanks to a rune warhammer emote. #-o Trail four: 12:27pm, 4-5. Completed 1:13 pm same. Rewards: 2968 coins, Guthix page 1, rune wc axe, rune baxe. Adding alch: 35608g. Trail five: 2:26pm, 4-5. Returning later to finish.--Finished approx. 3:00pm 4-7. (Took a break.) Rewards: Magic long, rune b axe, rune dag, rune legs, 44 laws, rune full. Alch reward: 90,816gp. Trail six: Obtained 10:51pm, 4-7. Pic for this one, thanks for the tip yankee! May not finish tonight or for a while tomorrow though, Easter stuff with the family y'know. WOOT! Hitpoints level! Didn't get a screenie though. :( Attack level! Dang me for not takin' screenies! Defense level! You're stupid if you fell for this! Right? WRONG. Let's compare this, again, to real life, shall we? How acceptable is it to offer someone something, then lure them someplace nice and quiet to beat them up and rob them? Not very. But then again, I'm very staunch morally--I don't think people should even PK. It's not much different than luring, really, unless you're only killing other PKers. But the fact that they exist makes, say, clue scrolls a big risk--I want rewards, but I don't want someone else getting my stuff. Besides, PKing, luring, whatever--it all stagnates the economy. Anyone with the magic to do Ice Barrage should be fighting the KBD or the KQ or something--the more d meds and d chains exist ingame, the cheaper they are for all of us. As for the 13 and up rule? Yes, it exists, but it's ignored and basically impossible to enforce, so...it's pointless. Yes, many players are under the age of 10, and at that age, it's not your fault if you fell for it. Now, if you're 30 and you fell for it, you're pretty stupid, but that still doesn't mean you deserved it (unless you're a lurer too, you naughty person!)
