One thing I found that I thought I'd add: Lumbridge diary Explorer ring is great for Cabbage-port. Makes Draynor clues quickly reachable, plus allows fairly quick access to charter ships for the occasional Port Khazard clue.

No need to make offers unless your clan's home world is 78. I have been using this server since world 58 was moved out of St. Louis--this has been at least three years now. I know that there are a few close-knit groups on this server, and am looking to join. Total level 1,760. Combat 115 P2P/109 F2P. Combat stats: 86/86/86 atk/str/def. 87 hp. 80 mage, access to all spellbooks. 72 prayer, access to all prayers. 77 range, 62 summoning. Quest cape. Most outstanding skills: 80 woodcutting, 80 cooking, 80 fishing. ALL of my skills are 62 or higher. I do not have any intention of getting a 99 just so that I may have a skillcape. My 99s will come to me when they do. Until then, my quest cape has served me quite well in battle. More detail can be found on the official highscores. I am not outstandingly rich. Despite the fact that I have been around since RS Classic, I have very few possessions of worth. No godsword, no DFS, no tradable rares. Just a set of Guthan's that cost me 12 mil back when I bought it. My relative poverty is a large part of the reason I wish to join a clan. Of all the things to do in RuneScape, there are only a few I have not done: kill the DKs and kill the GWD bosses. I have the skills to solo the KBD three times in a row, and am eager to learn to bring down the bigger baddies. I am looking for a mature group which will tolerate my absence in times of term papers: the kind of people who are cool with me getting my associate's rather than showing up to three events a week. I am more than happy to show up to events on weekdays in the summer and weekends in the fall. Spring of 2010 is too far ahead for me to predict now, but I am not likely to change my schedule so drastically that it would prevent playing RS less than three days a week.

Lady, I will certainly agree that there has been plenty of "omg wtf stupid mod nub," which is never called for, by any means. Frankly, I don't think "nub" is called for ever. It's spelled noob or newb. According to English language precedent, the only way a "u" could be pronounced as an "oo" sound would be with a silent "e," as "nube." But I digress, as I'm way off-topic here. I have seen times when people have made perfectly coherent, non-flaming arguments against power abuse--though perhaps with a bit of rage fueling them--who have been kicked. I've also seen mods who, in a bad mood, began kicking people who talked about perfectly rule-abiding things that the mod simply didn't like. This is what aggravates me. I understand misclicks perfectly well, and while I'd be annoyed if it happened to me, I certainly wouldn't flame. I also have agreed with kicks and warnings plenty of times; the mods, as a whole, are fair in their judgements. We have two problems in the chat, but they are easily corrected. Firstly, while I respect Lightning more than she can possibly imagine (as far as I'm concerned, Zez has nothing on her), it's not a good idea for her to be chat owner when she rarely plays any more. However, she also has the best name possible for the chat--personally, I think many of the existing mods' names would be quite annoying to type in every time. Perhaps, then, we should decide on a new owner with a short, simple name. To help the solution for the second problem, and prevent feuds among Tipiters, I suggest that a Tif vote be held for the new owner, from a list of the existing mods. The second problem would be easily remedied by following the solution I outlined for the first. A select few chat mods, I believe, have been poorly chosen and abuse their power. (I'll name no names here.) However, of all of these mods, I can't think of a single one who isn't a moral, upstanding player; they just get overzealous with a lust for power. I don't think any of them need to be permanently de-modded, and certainly not banned from the chat. If we had a chat owner who was present every day--and I can think of plenty who fit the bill--then whenever a considerable amount of people think a mod is abusing his or her power, and have a coherent argument for their opinion (no "omg wtf nub mod!"), the chat owner could speak to the relevant mod, de-mod them for a probation period, and re-grant mod status after a day or a week. Of course, anyone who ridiculed the de-modded player during this time should be kicked post-haste. I really hope someone of importance, like any of you well-respected mods, will think this plan through and present it to Lightning with a considerable number of you supporting it. Yours, Dragoon5464
